Valigia da 20kg, pesata la sera prima di partire sulla loro bilancia è diventata "magicamente" 22,8kg, che mi sono costati 50 euro. Ladri autorizzati a fare i ladri. Piuttosto che volare ancora con voi o con i vostri amici ladri di ryanair vengo in Irlanda a nuoto. Non esistono stelle in negativo, altrimenti vi avrei dato il peggio del peggio.

Déplorable, ne jamais utiliser cette compagnie

Je ne peux pas mettre 0 étoiles malheureusement. Expérience déplorable. Vol aller retardé (plus d'un jour à l'arrivée), aucun compensation ou aide de la part des équipes.
Mieux encore, vol. carrément annulé au retour, pas de proposition (si, 3 jour plus tard). Nous avons dû prendre un nouveau vol. Refus catégorique de la part de la compagnie de nous rembourser car la réservation a été faite via un site tiers (lastminute.com) qui refuse lui aussi de nous rembourser, donnant la responsabilité à la compagnie.

Confusion

I have two flights booked. DUB to Verona and Vienna to DUB. Went to check in just now. The flight details say the Verona flight is departing an hour earlier than my original booking. The Vienna flight says it departs 2 hours earlier than my booking.
But when I dig a bit more, the original departure times appear. What a mess.
And don't get me started on the App. Fort Knox hasn't as much palaver to get access. Glad I mostly fly with Ryanair.

Schlechter Kundenservice

Boarding schließt findet eine Stunde vor Abflug (zumindest in Frankfurt Main). Außerdem zu kritisieren: man hat nicht die Möglichkeit bei Problemen mit deutsch-sprachigem Service-Personal zu sprechen. Ich hatte dort angerufen, weil ich per E-Mail informiert wurde, dass ich einchecken konnte. Der Buchungscode hat aber nicht funktioniert und mir wurde angezeigt, ich hätte den Flug storniert. Ich habe telefonisch versucht Hilfe zu bekommen, die Person am Telefon konnte mir tatsächlich nicht weiterhelfen und meinte, wenn das so angezeigt wird, dann hätte ich wohl auch storniert. Fehler der Sache: Mir wurde in der E-Mail der falsche Buchungscode angezeigt, in der Buchungsbestätigung von vor ein paar Wochen stand der richtige. So konnte ich auch einchecken. Aber das die Person einem nicht weiterhelfen konnte, obwohl sie meinen vollen Namen hatte und meine E-Mail, hinterließ ein mulmiges Gefühl. Fast so als hätte sie es ausnutzen wollen, dass ich dachte, der Flug wäre storniert. Werde nie wieder diese Airline buchen...

Take a bow, Samanta Boston, Aer Kingus, JFK

My wife and I travelled yesterday, from Barbados to Dublin via JFK. Our transfer time was limited and, having been allowed to ‘jump the queue’ at Immigration, we were still struggling to make the transfer, which included a change of terminal.
Enter Aer Lingus employee Samantha Boston, having just completed her shift and on her way home. When we asked her for directions, she quickly worked out that we had absolutely no time to spare….so she grabbed one of our suitcases and said ‘follow me’. She escorted us to the appropriate desk, explained our position to her colleague and the connection was made, literally with seconds to spare. Without her willingness to go the extra mile and offer help which was way above what would normally be expected, we would have missed our connection and would have had to spend 7 or 8 hours waiting for the next flight, not to mention all the attendant bureaucracy and potential cost.
It is actions like these which renew our belief in human nature and the kindness of strangers….thank you, Samantha!

Booked four flights in January to go to…

Booked four flights in January to go to the World Cup in June. They have changed 3 of the flights so asked for a refund as the new flights do not work for me.
April now and nothing. Have rung several times as well. They are a complete joke and would advise not to use them at all.
There is no customer service!

Pire compagnie

Compagnie, aérienne, absurde
Nous sommes partis à sept, ça a été très compliqué de pouvoir gérer le vol. En plus la compagnie n’est pas forcément une une compagnie low Coast et pourtant impossible de choisir ses sièges sans payer au minimum 12 € je trouve ça abusé

Ils ont annulé le vol, on a pris le vol d’après une heure après sans aucun dédommagement sans rien
Une compagnie qu’il faut éviter de prendre si possible

First they understaffed checkin causing me to wait 1.5h almost missing my flight. Then they simply decided to not load my baggage and I've been with one set of clothes for two days. I have a pollen allergy and cannot keep wearing the same clothes without itching everywhere. Absolutely useless company. Never flying with them again an immediately canceled my already booked flights.

The worst customer service ever

Aer Lingus are easily the worst company I've ever had to use. They messed up my booking by removing a passenger without consent on the morning of my flight and adding a random person. We called to rectify on the way to the airport and had them removed and my partner re-adding but they did not add the suitcase back onto to booking. When I arrived at the airport the check-in desk argued I'd only paid for 2 cases and had 3, I showed my booking and they still forced me to pay £65 for a case I'd already paid for. Upon arrival home I put in a complaint and have been refused multiple times a refund, it wasn't until I had to shout at a person on the phone they agreed. This has also taken over a month to resolve

Avoid this company unless you like stress.

An absolute joke of a company

An absolute joke of a company. I booked for a group of 38 to go to Milan through group bookings. €11,500 was the cost not cheap. It started with a massive data breach in which they tried to blame me for even though they sent me the details of over 50 other passengers from a musical group. They rang and emailed me for days about this which was extremely irritating, time consuming and not my fault. Then comes the flight and check in, a parent and a son trying to check in and they couldn’t check in because the computer couldn’t check in when 2 people have the same surname. What does a family of 4 do when they all have the same name? Ring customer service and wait an eternity to get through to be told there is nothing that can be done. Asked to speak to a supervisor/manager conveniently none available. Assured I would receive a phone call in 24 hours, still waiting on that call now. Bear in mind this was 36 hours before we were set to fly and I had parents stressed over kids not being checked beside 12 year old kids. Overall a mess of a company and no customer support or care after they take your money…Will avoid for all future trips…

Scandaleux

Mauvaise foi évidente et mépris d'une famille avec enfants en bas âge.
​Expérience déplorable avec Aer Lingus. Suite à une modification de leurs horaires, notre escale de 2h a été réduite à 1h sur notre vol retour du 17.04.2026 (cancun-dublin-geneve). Plutôt que d'assumer, la compagnie nous impose désormais une escale de 18h à Dublin avec deux enfants en bas âge ! Ils prétendent que la transition est impossible en 1h, alors que d'autres passagers sur le même itinéraire ont été maintenus sur le vol initial. C'est une sélection arbitraire et injustifiée.
​Silence radio total : Malgré deux emails envoyés et une mise en demeure formelle restée sans réponse, Aer Lingus ignore ses responsabilités et notre famille. Plainte déposée à l'OFAC ce jour. Nous réclamons l'application du règlement CE 261/2004. Compagnie à fuir pour son manque d'éthique et son service client inexistant.

I wouldn’t even give them one star

I wouldn’t even give them one star. My husband and I turned up for our flight from Paris to Dublin to be told that they did not have seats for us and we would be on standby. The staff were very nonchalant about this and did not care about the added stress that this put on us. Absolutely disgraceful! To wait for over 8 hours for another flight, lose money due to having to cancel our transfer and miss out on time in Ireland impacted on us greatly. We have travelled in many planes and to many countries and have never experienced this. So DO NOT fly Aerlingus…and to add to this, they are not a budget airline either. Totally unacceptable 😡

Flight changed and then delayed

Aer Lingus changed my flight to 8 hours early, then delayed boarding a nearly empty flight Dublin to Bristol. Sat on the runway for ages, even the hostess was sat checking her watch, so we were late leaving and arriving. No explanation or apology was given. Went through the complaints process about the delay to the flights before flying, hoping they would right their wrongs, which took several days, only to be told, oh well, we hope we can do better next time. Absolute arse.
