Untrustworthy
I ordered cufflinks for my wedding and especially paid for 2-5 day shipping four days after transaction I had to email only to get a curt email indicating it was processed four days before and a tracking number for standard parcel post, no emails after that when I asked for an explanation, these people are not reliable and I dare say dishonest, I ordered on 16th of January it's the 25 and still no item!!!! Now I have to go buy new ones because wedding is this weekend thanks for nothing 1stchoice......

We have only recently started managing our trustpilot account as we were using another review provider. I am sorry to see your comments here and hope this issue was eventually resolved. All our e-mails are monitored by management and I can guarantee if your e-mail was received we would have replied to you within 1 working day.
Reliable service
Paid for next day delivery for a pair of cufflinks at around 6:30pm. Item dispatched the next morning and arrived as scheduled. Email updates kept me informed about the status of my order. Didn't have to contact the company at all.
Only minor downside is that the cufflinks are a slightly different shade to the photo on the website.

Failed next day delivery & wrong cufflinks
I paid for 'next day delivery before 1pm' (£8.99) and the item arrived 48hours later. Further, the item was wrong (hand-gun cufflinks instead of drum cufflinks). I called the company. A customer service gentleman, then the manager, at first insisted that my item was not delivered as per payment because my order had been placed after 3pm...I explained that there was nothing informing me of a 'by-3pm' deadline for next day delivery (which there isn't during checkout - I've even double-checked!). The manager then corrected himself and said that my order WAS actually placed at 2:30pm anyway! I requested a refund of delivery costs - initially the manager said no. I suggested that maybe I should not return the wrong item I had received to make up for the delivery cost I feel robbed of...because of this I was told that my new/correct item would not be dispatched until they had received the returned, wrong item (shot myself in the foot there!).
The reason I gave 2 stars and not one is that although I found the manager a little harsh-mannered, the customer service guy spoke calmly and professionally - he definitely did a better job at dealing appropriately with the situation than the slightly 'brash' manager. I felt he didn't have time for me or my observation that customers are able to pay for deliveries that won't happen without being told why!
