I love this game. Would have given it 5 stars but recently the creators have added this beyond annoying little pop up that tells you that you are out of whatever assist you are out of. Sometimes it takes getting out of the game to get it to go away. Come on people, if we can't tell when we're out of something, than maybe we shouldn't be playing the game. Please get rid of this. We can order new assists with very little effort!

They have removed the word value results so there is no more competition. The game used to be fun. Not anymore, so why play? Will be removing it.

Its just a bloated and unfair Scrabble variant.
* It is unethical by selling penalty-free tile exchanges and hints to gain an advantage over your opponent for a fee.
* It offers layer upon layer of points, gimmicks and rewards to show off.
* It is egoic-driven with services to promote one’s status.
* A range of silly statistics are shown, such as number of two-letter words played or the length of tiles played. There is only statistic that is relevant, the average score per turn. The rest are meaningless and depend on with whom you are playing. That one statistic, the long-term average per turn, is not even shown in the PC version of the game (just a meaningless past week one).

One can mostly ignore all that bloat of course and the board is well constructed perhaps better than Scrabble. I like that Tile Bag and the time saving word strength meter. But given all that silly unethical bloating I will only play people who I personally know who, like me, wont cheat with purchased tile exchange options and hints for a price.
Some are more equal than others as it is. Strip the game back and give us where we are all equal and without all that nonsense.

WWF qualifies to be called ‘Paradise Lost’.

Wwf has gone downhill. You achieve goals but you don't get credit for it. You plaY a TW but don't get the accurate pts and they allow the word goy which is a pejorative word and probably an inside joke. This may be why their ad revenue is off.

I used to love this game. The designers keep adding new features but the bugs are multiplying. Rivals locks up at mid game constantly and costs you the time you waited. Another needed fix is to let you see a person’s profile before accepting a game with strangers. There are a lot of creepy people on this app.

I enjoyed playing this game but only for a little while. For some reason when I'm close to someone they automatically win and I still have tiles left to play. This happened several times. Can be improved.

The game has lots of issues. Word Rival is a coin stealee when people play q or 2 riunds and close their browser. Ending game with no winner ir loser.
Regular WWF games is that men think its a place to meet wimen. I'm here strictly for the game. Married 40 yrs and dont want to be bothered. I wish the game was limited to those with FB accts only. WWF keeps taking away coins and giving less coins. Its all about the money and my play is less because of this. Quit being so stingy.

This game is rigged. They are using algorithms to give you words that either are with no vowels or too many similar vowels. Especially if you are buying coins. It’s no longer fair. It induces you to spend more money to buy coins. It used to be a great game. Such a shame

Word with Friends WAS a good game when I started playing it in 2011. From that year on they started to introduce changes. Example adding 150 words that were not recognized by any dictionary. Adding Solo a game against their computer that uses word at times that have no meaning to 90% of their followers. And the last resort using their computer to work against people who do not BUY their coins. I only play against very long time players for the most part, which play the game as l do ….. no made up words that have no dictionary meaning.

I’ve played this game for years and generally enjoy it despite the ads. As for the creepy predators, change your profile to “male” and only use initials or a male name and generic profile picture.
I wish wwf would include percentage of wins on stats.

The changes in this game get increasingly annoying, and are all so obviously geared toward making money. The game routinely distracts playing, and is doing all it can to get you to upgrade at your expense. I believe it is even rigged to reduce your ability to earn points, putting you in the position of needing to buy what used to be points for games well played. It’s irritating to have the constant interruptions, especially when it’s trying to trick you into spending money.

I have been playing this games for years, and haven’t been bothered by scammers. However I’m quite annoyed by all the non-English words allowed - generally Arabic and Sanskrit. Ie: djebel.

And rejection of some words commonly used in Canada- ie. adieu

The other thing that has really been annoying me lately is that I have played several games where I either get all consonates or all vowels for nearly the whole game. I don’t believe the letters I’m getting can be randomly generated - again, a bot controlling my game? Happens too often and IMO is statistically impossible to have that happen on such a regular basis.

And of course the 30 second commercials are intolerable.

Game lags, kicks me out of Lightning rounds, no customer service. Not to mention all the guys just in there to meet women. It’s gross, I just wanna play the game, it’s not a dating site.

Have several issues with the game; have contacted help through customer support...what a joke. “We will get back to you within 48 hours”...4 days later still waiting. “Tech dept. is aware of issue and working on solving it”...6 weeks later, no resolution in sight.

The gamification of a flawless word game is bad enough but the in game purchase bs makes this the worst of them all. I paid for the app but am now expected to pay extra to be able to succeed? I used to win by the power of my vocabulary not my wallet. V poor.

I have enjoyed this game for many years but the advertisements have gotten way out of line. They are so repetitive and very very frequently will not return you to the game. I find I’m rebooting the game after every play. I know that the games require advertising to keep it free for the players, but when the players can’t play because of the advertising, the game manufacturer is going to lose.

Fun game but way too many advertisements and the app sucks battery life terribly.
Used to play lots but I only play with one friend now and then rarely.

I've been asking for help for over a year and a half and get automated suggestions that don't work, often they just say thanks for your patience.

You watch ads to gain coins, however, the feature doesn't work. Often when it does, coins aren't deposited. Now "Help" doesn't respond and the videos that were there to watch disappeared.

I paid for the game and when I changed phones I started getting all these adds. I feel ripped off.
