SO FRUSTRATING. Not worth even one star now. I paid to upgrade ages ago, waste of money because they have changed what I paid for and filled it with irritating pop-ups so I cannot even get to my real games with my real friends. I only want to play with my friends. Stop dominating my games with pop-up challenges, random made-up opponents with stupid names. Then I have to resign and accept a loss. I don't want tokens and random challenges. JUST LET ME PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS!
This game used to be good.

I am so tired of how long it takes for an ad to pop up and then how many ads you have for the amount of time you get to play is ridiculous. I really enjoy playing the game but I don’t get to play the game as much as watch all the advertisements.

I’m a long time player with WWF. I currently have over 130 consecutive wins but cannot win at Solo Challenge. I too think the game is rigged.
Also I would rather win coins than badges which are useless and childish.
I’m not excited about playing anymore, I’m ready too move on to something else.

I understand that adverts allow you to watch the game free and don’t have a problem with this.

My problem is I have poor eyesight and the people that design the adverts make them difficult to close by :~

Having tiny buttons to close the ad.

Hiding the button within other graphics.

Having buttons almost the same colour as the background they are on.

These tricks are presumably perpetrated by the designers to force you to read the advert rather than just close it without looking. What it actually does is discriminate against people with eye problems and take enjoyment out of playing the game. I often end up stuck on an advert and have to close the game to get out of it. If I am watching an advert to opens new levels of word wheel it means it doesn’t work. If it is an advert between games it doesn’t matter but it does break the continuity and ruin the enjoyment.

Solitaire cash is one of the worst. Not only are some of their ads seemingly impossible to close, some of them just crash the game entirely.

Do the developers of words with friends not care that their game is ruined by other companies?

While the Computer player has an advantage over us players,,,,, the fun in play is missing in 2022 NEW rules!!
Gradually Solo game drains out the fun n renders an unpleasant experience!!! Resolved never again Solo game due to disrespect to PLAYERS!!!

The only reason I’m still playing this game is to stay in daily touch with family. It is appalling. For months an Apple Health advert has come up continually and it’s too big for the screen which means there is no X to close it. The only way is to re-start iPad. Move to phone and the same thing happens. Complained to Zynga and was told they are aware and trying to sort. Well not very hard as been going on for months. So that was an outright lie. Not likely to want to lose the revenue by getting shot of an Apple ad are they? They then tried to shut me up by giving me seven days ad-free. All that did was show what rubbish they are once it all started again. One very greedy company. It can be seen from all these terrible reviews I’m not alone.

I wish I had a nickel for every time I see “sorry the video is till loading please try again”. Annoying….and now the solo challenge is the latest joke!

There is not full dictionary in the game I have lost many games due to unaccepted words that are in the standard Webster’s dictionary. Also, the calculations of the avg points per game is incorrect as well as the app not always functioning correctly. Sometimes, you have to go in about of the app to get the functions to work! It is poorly designed by incompetent programmers.

This used to be a fun app to play with friends but it has become a money grab. I have played since 2012 and it has gotten worse in the past few years. There are other apps out there to play that aren’t constantly wanting $$ to play.

This game has been ruined. They block you from gaining points to advance, they don’t give you full points credit for a play and i was just about to gain 100 points for completing a certain # of games and the prize was deleted. It used to b fun. They also allow words like goy which are derogatory.

Can’t play duels for 3 days. Anyone else have this issue?

This game is awesome to play and I enjoy with many friends! However, we are all completely disgusted with the ads that will not let you get back to the game. You have to close the game and reopen the game. The game opens too slowly, even when it's downloaded on your phone. ANNOYING!

I have played WWF DAily for several years and always enjoyed it until lately when the one ad particularly would not disappear unless I double tapped to clear the screen and then start over. I am frustrated and have decided to discontinue playing this game. I play with a large number of friends and they share my thoughts. Please comment!

How many times are they going to break WWF. Total Trash! Their password verification codes do not work or there is a bug.

I am unable to get my rewards. I deleted the app and then brought it back. That did not work. What should I do?

I agree with a lot of you. The ads are almost impossible to get rid of. I click on the X then it takes me to the web site. I do this numerous times. Another thing I don't like is ads at the top that cover up my score.

Utterly useless. They now have so many adverts plaguing the app, that it regularly crashes and also fails to load up. Have now deleted and won't be playing again....

The ads are ridiculous and hard to get out of. They are mostly for games that are for morons. Tests your patience every time you play

too many ads. keeps asking you to upgrade .weekly challenge is now impossible.genuine words not allowed.people treating it as a dating site, asking you for personal details and wanting to `chat, share pictures` on other sites.

There is a Fresh Direct ad that I can't get rid of. I keep deleting it and it just keeps coming back. It seems like there is an ad after every play. To TEMPORARILY get rid of them, you have to pay $13. WHY????
$13 for 30 days..a ripoff.
