I've played WGT online off and on for 7 years. There are two ways to go. A slow grind of accumulating free coins to eventually upgrade clubs OR periodically upgrading equipment at a cost. WGT offers a free non-expiring ball as well as low spin, medium spin, and high spin at a cost for a sleeve of three. Better ball means more wins which means earned credits. Players able to develope a strong game eventually win credits which cover play costs. If you don't possess skills or play tired or drunk it's not the best experience. If you honestly wish to develope and earn credits it's good fun. Eventually joining a free Country Club offers more tournaments to earn more credits. When I started I spent about $10 per month on upgrades. I am now advanced and rarely add money to play, I win often enough. Much like real golf progression. Top players earn hundreds of thousands in credits.

Playing 2 years daily, I am Tour Master, 64 avg on free account. I used freebies to obtain gear (ads/surveys for gold).
Real golf club sets range in price from $300 for beginner packages to $2,000 - $3,500 for premium custom setups. By contrast, in-game virtual gear on WGT requires thousands of virtual credits, often adding up to an equivalent of $500 to $1,000 in real-world currency to build a fully maxed-out virtual bag.

*50 percent win cap in coin rooms: BLOCKED from making par on ANY tee. ANY green, Including easy tees with created club tournaments (I own my country club, "Legend".)
*300 yard driver..250 yard wood, 225 yard hybrid, 105 yard wedge, 60 yard wedge....And spyder putter...all #3-4 precision...(YOU do the math.) Default driver is 225 yard.
This game GIVES pay to win coin room AND Alternate shot opponents wins forcing you OVER par on first hole AND hole being a par 5 hole.
**Nothing but online sex in this game, I turned my chat off. Every game first text to me is, "Hey babe". I Use female and have gotten into arguments and received empty threats with these sexual predators over this. Multiple sexual predator profiles endlessly friending you (shirtless picture: carlos being one) going on for YEARS.

We do not alter the game for specific players nor do we influence the outcome of any games on WGT. All game mechanics remain static regarding friction, gravity, force, etc. The only difference comes into play when the player actions are made, the amount of power, "ding", aim, etc.

Alternate shot would depend just as much on how well your partner is playing as you are.

Coin Rooms try to match players based on skill as well as a number of other factors, so winning around 50% of the time would mean that you are being matched pretty evenly with similarly skilled players.

For your own Tournaments, you may want to try setting the course conditions manually to make them a bit easier to play. For example, setting the tournament to shorter tees, low wind, or slower green speeds.

game cheats people out of credits and coins when you complain they say they have refunded lost credits and coins but nothing is refunded the game is all about ripping people off these days was once a great game now all about making money at all costs

I don't know what you did in your last update but things really suck. Jamming up, and when you try to restart to reset a game, oh what a surprise, no reset and the coin you had on the game...of course lost. Maybe an onboard reset button to un jam a game on the platform that doesn't require shutting it down completely. Been with this game since 2008, what a shame it's still so mediocre.

Since the upgrade the game hangs, meters glitch and gives server problems and ends your game. Total disappointment

The game is great, however some of the users commit fraud, the top teams use the all in room to boost their players coin balance by millions. This gives them an unfair advantage in turf war events. The Texas Golf Club use discord to enter the room at same time usually get matched as nobody plays there as you might lose all your coins

Application is very slow.
Algorithm forces losses by forcing short putt misfits.
Sole purpose of this game is to push user into buying equipment, balls, clothing, etc.

My experience with WGT has been very different from time to time, I have been a playing member since 2012,And a lot has changed over the years. My greatest problem is how they manage to manipulate the different meter speeds from shot to shot , If WGT wants your ball in the water to steal it , Its going in the water no matter what you do, I call it WGT ball stealing mission, and they do it quite often, I recommend not buying very expensive balls , It doesn't matter what ball you use , If WGT wants it they are going to take it from you.

Would never recommend the games consistency of wind club selection green speeds are horrible when your 4-5 under guarenteed even if you hit good shot you will take bogey double bogey or more terrible

Game is awesome, but really bad about stealing silver coins when it hangs up! My Internet is strong etc, but over a hundred thousand coins this week and last! 20,000 a pop when it hangs up! What a rip off! Just spent money on coins and it steals them right back!

There is just no way as a player to make it better!! Its more about money tgan any other game and if you dont spend money this game will cause you extreme unrest!!!! When is fun not fun?? When these csers make a game!

The game is rigged, i played a tiebreak i shot first 3m away, checked the score card they had credited game to opponent, 2 sreenshots, back to main screen, the op had not even struck the ball. They can also listen to you via hidden game developer internal mic, when i complained and asked for explanation they sent me the acknowledge and asked for feedback without addressing problem, they still have not responded afterall, they obviously can't and won't admit it.

2 star at best…I enjoy the realistic experience but they allow the tougher competition to play all levels. I just had to play the highest level, from the same tees on a low buy in game, who proceeded to shoot -5 in a 3 holes head to head competition. I believe they do this so you spend more money on better clubs or to upgrade your player.

I went two stars on graphics alone the game play I understand players frustration I carried a single digit handicap in the physical game the last 12 years of a 30 year military career I’ve played all over the world as a helicopter pilot I understand the physics of flight the math can be applied to just about anything including a golf ball, factoring in distance, elevation, wind speed and direction it puzzled me at times the flight path of the ball especially where the ball ended up, putting is very suspect at times I read one comment that “three putting on any green shows inexperience” you can’t make that statement without seeing it. In closing is the game rigged? When money’s involved there’s a potential I’d say money grab is the proper term it’s a game progress can be purchased.
