My daughter purchased a stroller Peg Perego Selfie Mon Amour on the West Coast Kids Website recently during sale. Ten days after purchase, Milah from customer service is sending email to my daughter that the stroller we purchased is not availabe from the supplier, while all these days , even today, they keep advertising it and selling same stroller for more money. I phoned them as it was my gift to the baby and reminded them, they are in breach with the false advertising and bait and switch. Instead of apologizing and finding solution ( while still selling the same stroller - just not for the amount we paid through THEIR website), they double down! ( Princess from customer service), in the next email they promise to refund the stroller, but they would not refund $8 protection shipping fee for stroller and they applied the $8 protection shipping to the $20 swimsut.
This business should not be allowed to operate. Ponzi scheme.
HORRIBLE return policy
HORRIBLE return policy. You have to email them, provide details of items you’re returning, photos of each item including photos of the item sticker, as well as a reason. If you’re returning in store, you need to provide the address. If you’re returning via mail, you’ll need to pay a fee. They do not reply right away, mine took days between each reply. Keep in mind, you only have 14 days to return the items. Also, you can’t just go to the store to return the items. You need to go through the above process. All of these steps for parents who don’t already have a lot of time. Talk about an ABSOLUTE scam of a company that does not care their about clientele’s interest.
You’ve forever lost my business and all my friends and families business. I will ALWAYS tell every person I know to boycott West Coast Kids.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. They try and hide extra “route protection” charges and don’t show these in your total. You have to toggle route protection off, otherwise they hide that they are adding $10 onto your bill. They also don’t honour their 10% off email code (it will never come through even if you sign up for emails). Horrible customer service. Horrible company. Never shop here.

10/10 Experience!!
My partner and I went into the Vancouver location this afternoon to pick up our crib and test out a couple of different car-seats. As first time parents, navigating through all the different product options can be quite overwhelming. We were extremely fortunate and grateful to have had the help and knowledge of one of the sales associates (Maddy). She was very helpful, patient and informative with all of the education provided to us on the various products. The customer service and overall experience was 10/10. We left feeling confident and excited about our purchases. We also purchased car seat adapters for our stroller which was price matched with amazon, an added bonus. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of products offered. We will definitely be back! Thank you Maddy!! :)

This company says they accept returns, but they make it absurdly impossible. Get ready for a Kafka-esque maze of emails, phone calls, byzantine requirements, and then finally be denied for a totally legitimate return. NEVER USE WEST COAST KIDS.

Horrible customer service. Qas promised a resolution which has yet to come. Told by the store manager at Bayview location the car seat I wanted would be on sale this weekend at least 15% off but see it is excluded from the sale. How can managers not know about sales and just peo.ise something and then not follow thru? Still no satisfaction from customer service. Shop elsewhere
Customer service answers promptly but…
Customer service answers promptly but does not follow up and the options provided are fairly useless. Tried to cancel an on-line order that I have not received. First it was 3 weeks, then 6-8 weeks. They would only offer an in-store credit rather than a refund that would be useless since this was a time sensitive gift. Highly unreliable company in my opinion. I will NOT be buying from them ever again.
In all honesty
In all honesty, I would have provided 0 stars if possible. I ordered a Oilo chair from West Coast Kids back in September ... not the cheapest item. They said the chair would ship in 8-12 weeks and it is WELL over that. I am due in 3 weeks and still do not have an answer to where the chair even is. Once I contacted Oilo Studio about the chair they assured me it was in Canada so it is West Coast Kids fault to why it hasn't been shipped. Between many email exchanges with this company they continue to find excuses to why the chair hasn't shipped. PLEASE do not spend your money with this company, they have horrible customer service and general lack of professionalism.

i bought an $800 stroller based on the Richmond store rep's recommendation that the adaptor (for an additional $60) would work with my carseat. I ordered both pieces. The adaptor did not fit the carseat. It turned out the adaptor for our carseat didn't exist. The stroller manufacturer eventually made it, but doesn't ship to Canada. contacting west coast kids was futile. They basically said it was my problem to deal with. So now I am stuck in the house with an $800 stroller i cannot use for an infant.

Took my deposit on credit card over the phone . 25% , did not inform me that I would not be able to pay the rest unless in person at the store which is 900 km away . Forced to purchase gift card to pay . lost my shipping insurance and cash back . Typical bait and switch . Natart would not address issue . so both of them have lost a customer ( order was 5000 $
Unbelievably bad customer service!
I’m writing a review on behalf of my 37 weeks pregnant best friend. She ordered a very pricey car seat online on Black Friday over a week ago and also purchased route protection insurance. She didn’t receive a confirmation e-mail or any tracking after waiting for over a week, so she contacted customer service and they told her because of the volume of orders they had received they were “unable to help her with her issue”. Abysmal customer service. Why are you still having sales when you’re failing to deliver on already existing orders? The other reviews confirm she isn’t the only person who’s been ripped off by them. A car seat isn’t something frivolous, this is an extremely necessary purchase for a new parent to ensure their baby’s safety and I can’t say how disappointed I am in West Coast Kids. I’ll never make another purchase from his company and will be telling everyone I know to steer clear.
Bad customer service …
I have been at both Ontario locations of WCK picking up pre-ordered items. Both visits were terrible. They should be embarrassed at their inability to find your order. At both locations I was promptly waited on and waited and waited while multiple people asked me to please be patient as they could not locate the item. Hard to imagine it would be difficult to create a system where pre-ordered items could be stored for pick up. Truly baffling. Owner should be aware unhappy customers do not return. And tell others to stay away.
No Refund Policy
This company follows an archaic no return policy even if the product was never used. For first time parents, this policy is simply ridiculous.
I purchased my Babyletto nursery furniture from Westcoast Kids. I had seen a picture of the crib and chest of drawers online and I had to have it for my baby. The store's display of this set included a change table. In fact, almost all the crib set displays had a change table on top of the corresponding chest of drawers . The change tables are not shown with a change pad inserted into them and as a new mommy, I thought that my baby would sit inside the table. I paid in store and the sales staff said that I should purchase the change pad along with the table and so I did. I had to wait weeks before I could pick up the change table.
When I finally put it together I realized that baby sits above the casing of the change table instead of inside the change table. Perhaps some feel comfortable with this sort of arrangement to change their babies. However, I do not feel as though it is safe. Moreover, I feel like I was misled by the way in which the stores display the product. In the store, the change tables are used as placeholder for items such as books and stuffed animal. Yet, they are promoted as a spot to change a baby. Most all the displays of various change tables in one of the locations does not show the change pad insert. Westcoast refuses to allow a store credit despite the fact that I have never and will never use the change table and pad. I will never shop at a Westcoast store again and if you are thinking about shopping there , I assure you that they are certainly not a trendy place when it comes to treating new moms and dads with compassion, understanding, or respect for differing views on what is and isn't okay for their precious baby. I am certain that one may find many brands sold in these stores elsewhere. And I highly encourage shoppers to take the money earmarked for your baby somewhere else.

A huge thank you to Aamir for his helpful service to my daughter and myself. We came to West Coast Kids to look at strollers. My daughter is expecting her first baby in February 2024. Aamir's patience with our million stroller questions was much appreciated. We left the store knowing which stroller would be chosen for our new arrival.

I placed an order after speaking to an online representative. The quoted one item to be 2-4 week estimated arrival delay. I called two weeks out now they are saying 3 more months delay. I asked for a refund since none of the items have shipped I got told I had four hours after order to cancel for refund. If they had shipped as quoted would not be a problem but now they r 3 months or more delayed which is unreasonable.
I spoke to a manager and she was condescending and would only quote 4 hr cancellation policy. The store lies to u with estimated arrival times then keeps ur money as store credit is the only refund option they will give u. Don’t shop here there are many other reputable stores that will appreciate your business and treat you with the respect you deserve.
Bad retrun policy
Last year, I have purchased my uppa baby for my twins , and one item was missing they refused to give me the missing item because i oticed it too late.
and now same they are refusing to take a return item because its opened.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I had recently bought an item at full price, which went on sale less than a week later. I messaged customer service and asked for a price adjustment. She refused and said she couldn’t do it. I told her it was the same thing as me going into the store to return the item, and then reordering it online at a lower price. Except it would save me a trip to the store which is about a 45 minute drive. She would not budge. I will never shop here again. Customer service is huge to me.
Scammers
We are a small business that ships to WCK. Our overall shipping accuracy rate is above 98% and yet these scammers habitually claim we short-ship them in an attempt to get free product or a credit.
I would avoid any dealings with this so called business whether you sell or buy from them.
