Unless you want to wait 21 BUSINESS DAYS for your bed I highly suggest to NOT use this company. It was not communicated to me when I signed the contract that I would have to wait almost a month for my items. I was just told "You're the boss." I would also not recommend them unless you want a portion of your things quoted actually moved for you. They expect you to pay 3,000 more on top of what they quoted you for. It's definetly a bait company and I wouldn't use it if you have limited money to move.

I hired American Family Mover to move my items from Los Angeles, CA to Weston, Florida on March 6th 2025. The first scheduled delivery date indicated was March 18th 2025. As of today, April 15th 2025, my items have still not been delivered.

The level of unprofessionalism and lies demonstrated by American Family Mover and West Coast Express Moving (a company that I did not authorize to handle my move) is deplorable. I have spoken to Valerie of West Coast Express Moving countless times and two weeks ago she told me that my items were being loaded and on the way to Florida. However when I spoke to an extremely rude and disrespectful salesperson at American Family Mover today at 11:13EST I was told that my items are still in California!

Thank God, I placed an AirTag in one of my boxes because I wouldn’t have known that you guys took my belongings even further away from Los Angeles to a warehouse in San Jose without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse West Coast express moving, indicated legally they have 21 business days to deliver my items. I’ve waited the entire 21 business days and 40 days in total for my belongings. no one has expressed any kind of remorse for the extreme inconvenience and unprofessionalism leaving me without my belongings for over a month and causing me to have to spend thousands to find items to use temporarily. The level of unprofessionalism can only leave one to think that you have stolen my items. There has been zero communication from either of the parties regarding my items when they were being transported to San Jose and where they are currently to date. It was not for me reaching out. I would still be in the dark about where my items worth almost $100,000 are located.

I have been patient and understanding however at this you have left me with no choice, but to hire an attorney to sue you for breach of contract and lies. Nathan, John and Valerie have all been lying to me for 40 days and I would strongly urge you to NEVER do business with them!

A GREAT experience moving my things from a storage facility to a high rise. Josh was easy to work with and the guys (sorry, I am bad on remembering names) were on time, worked quickly and efficiently to make my move relatively stress free.

Great moving experience. The two person crew was on time and very efficient, we had a lot of heavy furniture going from a third floor apartment into a new house and the crew crushed it. Would definitely recommend their services and will use again if needed.

Ryan, Dustin, and Justin were fabulous! They were professional, cheerful, and very polite. They took extraordinary care with the many, many items and furniture they moved. Would highly recommend.

they are some of the nicest and hard working movers I've ever delt with. Not only are they super professional, they are also very nice and respectful guys. We had to have 2 trucks for two different destinations, one was local the other was West Texas. They were very organized about making sure my belongings were put on the correct truck. They worked quickly and efficiently. Great company.

A very competent mover, answers his calls on a timely manner, kept in contact, was early on the move day. Works fast but carefully. I do not hesitate recommending him for any move job, I was extremely satisfied.

From our first contact, Dave was helpful, polite, and instilled confidence that my move would go smoothly. He and his helper were right on time, respectful of my possessions, and very efficient. The only constructive criticism I have is that, while they were very careful, many of my items had black smudges and fingerprints when they arrived in my new place. I was able to wipe off most of it, but it's an area for improvement that I know they'll work on. Great job otherwise. Thank you so much for making it effortless and fun.

David and his crew were great! They were polite and friendly, showed up early and they made moving my mom to memory care quick and easy as possible. Thank you for making a difficult day go so smoothly!

They were also very thorough and very professional. We've dealt with movers before and never had an experience comparable to this! Bottom line: West coast express moving are profession, careful, considerate and fast. The move was quicker than we anticipated and everything was handled with care. I don't want to ever move again, but if I do, I want West coast express moving to do it! Thank you guys!

Very professional, quick and easy to set up with and get a quote. I really recommend them and their services as they really cranked when they needed to, and there wasn’t a lot of wasted time with chitchat. It was just let’s get busy, by the hour, wrapped nice item up safely and moved without issue. I moved about a two bedroom apartment and didn’t have a single broken glass or a piece of porcelain. I highly recommend these guys! Book them before they fill up!

West coast express moving did a great job moving my daughter from her 1 bedroom. They were so helpful, assisting in wrapping furniture and getting her set up in her new place. Thank you we will use you again.

Do NOT use West Coast Express moving company. An absolute nightmare! Their website claims transparent pricing and no hidden fees - ha (keep reading) and then there’s the excellent customer service - yes to rope you in but when movers show up and they are a third party trucking company that you were never told about and say - oh no this is wrong price (they had my inventory list which ended up being even less of the heavy stuff) and it went from $1800 to $4200 - and they were 3 hours past the arrival time and we were flying to new location 2 days later so we had no choice, so while all this was happening I kept calling and texting the guys with whom I made a contract with from West Coast Express - total silence. They were quite responsive when they wanted to make the deal and now - NEVER to be heard from - not exactly excellent customer service. And website claims trained professionals…they wanted me to pay by Zelle to their PERSONAL account. Not very professional!! I was promised it would come in 6 days - it arrived in 14 days - not horrible BUT it was NOT my stuff so they had to come back the next day. (1 star review because you can’t leave zero stars and because having not heard from them, I was convinced I’d never see my stuff again but I did get it!). One thing was damaged and I’ve been emailing customer service and am getting absolutely nowhere. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THEM!!!

Alex and the crew were absolutely phenomenal during our move - they were on time, friendly, moved quickly, and took good care of our furniture and boxes during the move! They were wonderful! They were on time and so efficient. They made the job so much easier and up and down three flights of stairs too! I had so much glass and heavy stuff and everything was moved so carefully. Excellent service, great communication, quick move!

First off, I'm in supply chain and logistics so I should have known it was too good to be true. They quoted us 1780 to move from Santa Cruz to Nashville for a 1 bedroom house. The quote was WAY off, we ended up paying 3K and couldn't bring out couch , TV stand or a bunch of appliances which I now have to try to sell.

Our original quote for storage was 350/month and now they are charging 650 becuase of the extra stuff which was NOT explained at the time. Do not recommend.

Horrible, incompetent business. I sought out WCEM for a California to Texas move where they vowed they were a moving company and did not broker movers. My belongings took over three and a half weeks to arrive at their new destination, with little to no correspondence on the matter from WCEM. I, myself had to initiate any and all correspondence or seek updates on ETA. The delivery company was an entirely different moving company.

More than half of my boxes arrived BROKEN, furniture DAMAGED, and over 20+ boxes remain MISSING. It's evident my belongings were picked up and dropped off arbitrarily throughout the course of transporting, as WCEM proceeded to secure booking after booking - only to fail abysmally to maintain necessary order with each client's respective items.

I have moved across the country countless times, employing countless moving companies, and have NEVER had this happen, EVER. I have none of my clothes or shoes. I lost dishware, cultery, crystal, expensive cookware, the list goes on. I maintain my aforementioned rationale that my 20+ boxes of missing belongings were stolen and/or received by other patrons within the carelessly haphazard mass move.

After airing my grievances and expressing my more than justifiable frustrations, I was told that with continued nonchalant disregard, I could file a claim. A claim that is stated to take up to FOUR MONTHS from file to potential resolution close.

If you seek out the services of West Coast Express Moving, I implore you to save the "experience" for one you actually desire to forego.
