I have been a client of Weinbaule for ten years. Although their pricing and selection of wines have always been good, their service has become hopeless and their communication very rude. I will place no further orders with them.
I placed an €800 order in March. The deliveries came unannounced in small batches over a period of three weeks. Some wine never arrived and some was the wrong wine. Some they showed as in stock, but were not able to deliver.
When I asked politely after three weeks that they credit my account for the €120 of issues, they stopped communicating. Today, after numerous unanswered emails requesting a refund, I phoned them. Mr Bauleman knew who I was and what the issue was and confirmed he would send the refund, but offered no explanation for this bizarre behaviour. When I invited him to apologise, he declined to do so. Terrible customer service. I will shop elsewhere.
Update: 21 May. I had to file a PayPal dispute to get my money back from. They only paid when PayPal forced it.

Toen ik na 5 dagen nog geen update had heb ik even geïnformeerd, en daarna voor de zekerheid even op trustpilot gekeken. Flink geschrokken van sommige ervaringen. Toch 5 sterren want ik werd uiteindelijk netjes geïnformeerd dat het iets langer ging duren. En afgezien van de kleine verwarring met versturen via UPS in plaats van DHL (ivm een Pack-Station), heb ik de wijn ontvangen via een UPS depot in Willich. Juiste flessen en degelijk verpakt.

Terugbetaling pas ontvangen op 15-12-25, na aangetekend schrijven.
Er blijkt actueel organisatorisch iets mis te gaan bij WeinBaule.
Advies: vermijd orders met vooruitbetaling, behalve langere levertijden is er ook een verhoogd frustratie-risico mbt de transactie.
Jammer , want prijs/kwaliteit ratio van de goederen is top !
viel Zeit mitbringen
Am 28.11. 24 Flaschen Rotwein für eine Nikolaus-Gesellschaft bestellt, laut Webseite Lagerware. In der Bestellbestätigung hieß es dann, dass erst am 08.12. versendet wird. Auf Rückfrage wurde mitgeteilt, der Wein sei ausverkauft und die Nachlieferung käme erst am 08.12. und würde dann direkt weiterversendet. Am 08.12. passierte nichts, auch nicht am 09. und 10.12., auf Email-Nachfrage seit zwei Tagen keine Reaktion. Am Telefon dann heute (11.12.) die Auskunft, dass es halt Weihnachtszeit sei und da herrsche Chaos. Von Bedauern oder gar einer Entschuldigung meilenweit entfernt. Seriöser Online-Handel geht anders.

Ordered 3 different wines 6 bottles each (18 bottles in total) on 26th of August 2025. No update on the shipment for a week and I sent an email myself asking have they sent my order. Yvonne from WeinBaule team gets back to me saying that they are Out of Stock for one of the positions and will I wait for a week until they get it back in stock. I said yes. Pinging them after another week asking whether my order was send and I get back a reply that it will take another 2 weeks for them to restock the position due to delays in logistics. I said please either send 9 bottles of 2 wines which they have or refund my money. No reply. Followed up a few times and still no reply. Not buying from them anymore. I'd rather use Vinello.eu for future orders.
Update. Order delivered on 29th of September. Received 6 bottles of one and 12 bottles of another position. No communication whatsoever of what will be delivered. I'm rating my experience better (from 1 to 2 stars) as I have received something, yet their customer support service is non existent.

What went wrong? Everything. I ordered wines on 9.6.25 and received them only on 14.8.25, which is over 2 months later. I tried to contact customer service by email and phone about 10 times in both English and German. The service was really bad and no one was interested in handling the matter.

I made an order on 12.7.
Two weeks later as I had not received any confirmation of shipping I called them and the owner confirmed the order would ship the following day.
Since then they have stopped answering my phone calls or emails, and no order has been shipped.
Unfortunate this place is a scam and they stole my money.

Es wurde nur Artikel bestellt die sofort lieferbar sind. Nach fast fünf Wochen noch immer keine Ware erhalten, nur leere Versprechungen. Käuferschutz wurde eingeschaltet.

Made order with prepayment on 22.6, then got email that they don't have one product, what was not a problem for me and asked to add another similar product. Then 30.6 got email that package have sent, UPS page shows from 30.6 that the label has been created but thay they have not got the package and today is 14.7. No one doesn't answer emails or phone.. So don't recommend to order from that page.
Still hope that this situation gets solved but not a happy customer at this point.
Today 23.7 wines finally arrived, what is a great news, but during this time did not get any answer from the company about the order or delivery situation.
Previously I have ordered 2 times from there over few years and last time order came really fast.
Really mixed feelings with the company. All would have been fine when they have kept contact and inform about the situation and a with a late delivery.
Unfortunately don't think I will order again from this site, but happy that wines at least arrived, even when month after the order.
Delivery completed after 3 weeks
I ordered 24 bottles of the same wine and prepaid with an international wire transfer from Belgium. After a week the order status had not changed yet, so I contacted WeinBaule by mail. The day after, the wine was shipped. It arrived 2 weeks later in 2 separate deliveries. Packing was very good.
Miserabelster Kundenservice
Als Neukunde orderte ich im Februar 2025 in der ersten Bestellung 10 Flaschen für insgesamt 175 Euro, also nicht das billige Zeug. Der Mimosa Cabernet Sauvignon hatte Korken und war komplett hinüber. In einer Mail fragte ich, wie dies gehandhabt würde: Keine Antwort. Eine zweite Mail: Keine Antwort. Telefonische Kontaktversuche: Nicht erfolgreich. Ein Shop, der Erstkunden so behandelt, gehört eigentlich geschlossen.

9 bottle of 12 was not the item i order
I bought 12 bottles of wine where 9 of them, were the wrong wine than what I ordered, they say it is in their purchase conditions and won't do anything about it. So they don't care about service and the product the customer buys. They suggested that I can get 10% on the next purchase, which of course I don't dare as you don't get the items you order. So sadly I am confirmed in all the bad reviews they already have

nachdem Sie mich über Wochen mit meiner Bestellung vertröstet haben, welche schlussendlich gar nicht mehr lieferbar war, haben Sie mir ein „Probierpaket“ anderer Weine zukommen lassen.
Bedauerlicherweise, mussten wir alle diese Weine in den Abfluss gießen, da die Weine durch die Bank gekippt waren. Nicht eine der Flaschen war noch genießbar.
Dies ist der schlechteste Kundenservice den ich je erlebt habe! Sie können die bestellte und bezahlte Leistung nicht bringen und schicken mir als Entschuldigung eine Kiste alter Weine die in den Abfluss gehören!?
Nach diesem unverschämten Umgang mit mir als Kunden werde ich definitiv nie wieder etwas bei Ihnen bestellen und auch jedem der mich fragt davon abraten!

this company is real scam i made an order on there website and did the correct payment like the website let me do. these wines were for a dinner with the south african ambassador in a michelin star restaurant. i did not received anything and made a phoncall to weinbaule. an arrogant and real stupid wife did not know anything about the order and the only thing she always was yelling like a crazy cow was ‘there is no order and no money’ i needed to proof myself that i was not a liar tio her with screenshots of my bankpayment and my orderform. no respons at all… i called back after a week, still she was yelling to me that i did not payed and there was no order. mister Martin was on holiday and he is the only person that can see the payments she told me…???? i wanted to speak to him, absolute impossible… an order between 600 and 700 euro without any cusommerservice, just a crazy yelling cow… no respons on other telephones or mails from me. and then she sended me a mail that my order was sended en returned back to weinbaule…??? how can that ifi am the liar who did not made an order and did not payed??? now again some mails without any answer from them. i went to the police and my bank to start a scam procedure to have this website away from the internet to protect other persons from this crimeorganisation. also took a lawyer to have my money back. i will fight against this arrogant company even if it will cost me my last eurocent. this has to stop!!!!!

I ordered a case of wine, and the funds were deducted from my account. I then received an email telling me they only had 10 bottles - I nominated a substitute. Since then I've heard nothing. Emails and phone calls are ignored. Looks like I'm going to have to get a refund from the credit card company. Don't waste your money and time dealing with these people.
