Not as easy as they make out for non-programmers

I am using WedSites for our wedding planning and it isn't as easy as it makes out to be if you don't have programming experience.
When sending 'group' invites to family groups, when you change 'firstname' to 'guests in household' it added in the bride and groom names instead, so I have had to amend the emails and 'save the dates' manually and send individually.
While it does allow you to print 'save the dates' and invitations', there is also no ability to add an addressee name or website link details to the printed versions for elderly family members who aren't online in any form.
There is no ability to change the RSVP page which looks a bit plain and boring and the questions and answers for guests on a separate event page were centred and looked out of alignment so I had to add in on another page. It also kept adding our post-wedding party before the actual wedding day to rsvp too. I used the assistant for help but it wasn't helpful at all so I have had to add the post wedding event as another question, which doesn't look the best. I am not sure if this is a date issue as date formats in Australia are different from the US.
I am disappointed with what I have got for the price of the standard package and the customer support seems to be AI who directs you to pre-set pages which don't deal with specific issues. I am now looking at the free trial with Say I Do to see if I want to change sites - I don't really want to given all the time and effort I have put in on this site, but there's is looking a bit more user friendly.

Really great site! I LOVE how it has a non-commercial feel. All of the tools you will need and more are on the back end, and customer service is very tailored to you. It’s a nice company and they keep getting better with new features and functionality. Happy I went with WedSites!

Prompt replies and assistance

Best thing about WebSites is their speedy replies from agent for any trouble shoot. I was struggling to adjust the position of our names on the header and Brian from the WebSites helped me with the code which works for both the mobile version and the website and problem solved!

Genuinely surprised me how great it was

I just started on the free platform as I read it was the most customisable wedding site (including the ability to code) and I saw it had really clear navigation. I'm a web designer so I knew guests would expect a lot.

Ending up paying for the upgrade (not even that pricey!) so we could keep organised by sending emails and tracking replies through the platform, and it was so effective and helpful.

If anything, I just wish we'd used it earlier (for Save the Dates)...
