Nice Ring but was not expecting a dig in the stone.

Due to the distance from the store, my partner bought a potential engagement ring online for me to view at home… It wasn’t a cheap ring but we had assurance with their 30 day money back guarantee for online purchases. I had been clear with my intentions from the very outset that I would want to change the centre stone for sentimental reasons and enquired if this was something they could help with or recommend an alternate supplier. I was assured by email they would be able to exchange the stone for me, and so my partner purchased the ring.

Delivery was very fast, and very well packaged, and the ring was exactly as described on the site. (I took it to a trade jewellery repairer to verify the quality)

I loved the ring and immediately emailed to confirm this, reiterating I still wished to exchange the stone as stated from the outset. I received a prompt response confirming me they would now source some alternate stones for me to consider and would be in touch.

I did experience a delay which impacted a special valentines break away, but once aware, a Director named Will emailed me an apology, taking company accountability for the miscommunication error, and offering personal responsibility to ensure my ring order was finalised as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Several emails were sent with both photos and videos to ensure I was happy with the choice of new gemstones, and as I was struggling viewing the stones via a screen, Will made the final choice based on my requirements. He also arranged for the ring to be resized for me at the same time as the stone exchange.

I was notified as soon as the ring was completed, and again sent a video to ensure I was happy with it before it was returned to me. The ring was received today, (next day) and OMG it is just absolutely beautiful, to the point I let out an excited girly squeal 🙈

I now have no idea when I’ll actually get to wear the ring as waiting for a proposal, but I can highly recommend Wave Antiques for the quality of their jewellery, and for their professionalism in after sales service. I know I’m going to say Yes when I finally get asked, and will certainly return to Wave Antiques to see if they have a beautiful wedding band to complement my engagement ring.

This ring was really exceptional value for the price. Fantastic stone and some really standout design. I think the jeweller really understands well how to find designs that make unique stones such as orange topaz shine. It looked much better in person than in pictures, so would recommend to other buyers to try and look in person if they aren’t sure.

This design worked really well with my partners skin tone who is a dark skinned Nigerian. The windows were large enough that lots of light naturally came through. I heightened it slightly which did help it a bit. The jeweller who heightened it remarked how easy it was to adapt.
