I bought a ticket through them to travel to the State. Upon my request, the ticket was changed to another date. They refused to confirm my date. The airline directly said WAKANOW canceled my trip, hence I could not confirm the booking through the airline directly. I have called WAKANOW many times, wasted my money without any positive outcome. I have spoken to like five different acclaimed staffs/agents that do not know what to do. I sent many WhatsApp messages, and they were like pushing me back and forth. I requested for a refund, they keep saying they will get to me next day, yet no one is contacting me. I requested to speak to a supervisor, all they say is that their supervisor is not available, everytime!!!. My trip is in few days, these scammers are pushing me around up till now. WAKANOW SEEM TO BE AN ODD/BAD COMPANY!!!!!!! I NEED MY REFUND!!!!!!!!
Wakanow has the most unreliable service, never refund payments and got nonchalant attitude.

One should avoid using this provider by miles. All they’re after is on getting your business thereafter they’re don’t care about you. Have had past instances of bad behavior by Wakanow but my last experience has broken the camel’s back. Bought ticket through them, used the first leg thereafter, the airline changed the return leg and wrote advising booked passengers to either cancel or rebook. I wrote to Wakanow for cancellation & refund and furnished the mail from the airline. To my greatest surprise Wakanow wrote back that cancellation & refund is not possible without even reaching out to the airline. Happy to write that I directly contacted the airline on my own and have gotten my refund alongside apology letter from the airline
Use Wakanow at your peril or if you have money to waste. Wakanow doesn't even deserve a one star rating. Over 18months after purchasing one of their travel packages and I am yet to get my refund for a service I never enjoyed. My money is being held to ransom while they seek redress in court with the airline in question.
The worst travel agent to deal with. Very rude and unprofessional once your money hits their coffers.
How do you book a flight with an agent and the airline cancels the flights, which they are aware but purposefully refrain from letting you know then they go ahead to even collect money for visa processing from you after you cautioned that there’s a possibility the flight might not go since there’s a current ban. They hound you with calls until you pay and then they begin to ghost you.
I insist on courtesy by email and then their agent calls and proceeds to raise his voice at me
This is the WORST,UNETHICAL,UNPROFFESSIONAL service provider of all time.
The scammed me, charged my card without my authorization, then went ahead to send me an email of UNSUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION.
When i tried to request for it, they started lairing and giving me flimsy excuses.
Please dont ever PATRONIZE them, they are bunch of THIEVES CHEAP SCUMS.
Even most of Nigerian banks support this malacious acts as well.
I used to think that WakaNow is that startup unicorn Nigeria economy badly needed, but again they have joined the rest of the lost glory firms in Nigeria that treats customers poorly and their employees even worst. Please stop treating your employees as though they are slaves because you pay salary. Why on earth would someone(your staff) who attended to me nicely one day in one branch will be moved to another branch without prior inputs or information?So i have to go that branch again to get attended to. And i made known that even tomorrow he can be moved again to a different location? I was disappointed and saddened that your management treat your staffs as robotics who doesn't have independent lives. It is really a shame that managements don't think out of box and visualize situations and impact it might have on customers. Please before you transfer or change your staffs location, give them at least a month notice, that is how things should be done. We do not live in the industrial age anymore, we you can just pocket people's time, and as your customer, i will quit using your services henceforth because you treat your worker very poorly. And will use social media to outlines your slavery work culture to the world until you change.We are not in 16th century Wakanow, this Millennial, Gen X, Gen Y, Gen Z era and we are gonna use our voice and selflessness to disrupt your defectives employers employees relationship.
