Disappointed
I booked, received a message to say the rate on Vrbo was wrong and directed me elsewhere to pay, which I refused. They have sent a new link with a new price for the stay with an additional £418 to pay.
Makes me feel uneasy and this was going to be a 2 month stay.

Hi i booked my last holiday that ive just come back from through you. It was all a very easy process especially as im not great with modern technology and bookng things. The villa we stayed in was lovely although we did have 2 power outages. We had my 80 year old mum with is so that was difficult for us as we couldnt make her a hot drink in the morning or anything to eat. The villa was spotless and we did enjoy our stay abs waking up to fabulous views

The VRBO site is well laid and the booking process very easy to use.We were looking for a Holliday let with at least 3 bedrooms with a pool or spa and in the Ypres area. We looked at a number of suitable let's but the one we chose was the top of the list the site provided of ones that would be suitable.
Set out the most important facilities the let must have and those that are less important. Having a good idea of the date and location in mind will ease your way through the site.

Waiting for a response
The page for the property I was looking at kept resetting the guest numbers to the point where when I made the booking it was for fewer guests than I asked for. I noticed the problem immediately and messaged the host to correct it but nearly a day later I have heard nothing from them 🤷🏻♀️ As a first time user of Vrbo this does not fill me with confidence.

Really good descriptions of accommodations. Very easy to make a booking with communication throughout the process.

Confusing price.
The villa price was different to the advertised price and the advert states that the price included all taxes and fees. It did not warn you that a cleaning fee and a service fee would be added on. Totally misleading. Also 2 payments were taken for the deposit with no explanation of the amounts taken. Very confusing and difficult to work out the correct total price of the rental.
