One gripe I have though, is that there is no way for me to mass import DNS records. It is quite a hassle to manually create dozens of DNS records when transferring nameservers to Vodien nameservers.

Every 3 months or so, our email system goes down, due to the Vodien server services stopping. There is always a lengthy delay while the problem is resolved. Last time was a, upgrade carried out during weekday business hours with no prior notification. I have been with the previous providers who Vodien bought out, and rarely had any issues. As a former server and network engineer at a major IT company, we had software tools which monitored servers and knew before the client when an issue arose. Worse still Vodien's status page NEVER shows any issues even when servers are down for an extended period. Vodien staff are polite and friendly, but only Level 1 staff talk to us during an outage, and few technical details are given. Their technical staff should be working on a fix, before I find out that systems are not working, but this seems beyond their organisation's scope.
Email went down around midnight. No progress by their "support" team after around 15 hours. Complained that this was the 4th extended email outage in 12 months and was told that the outage is because the server I am hosted on is old and not capable of carrying the load it has, so to expect more of the same. This information was conveyed by a sarcastic and arrogant sales person (Business Development Specialist) who proceeded to try to up-sell me to a more expensive service costing 250% of what I currently pay (Titan Email). There has been no contact prior to this event advising that I needed to change and considering we have only 3 low volume mailboxes, I find it hard to believe that this is anything more than a ploy to move to a higher cost service. In the process of looking at moving to another service, I also found that Vodien, when it took over from my previous provider through a buyout, failed to accurately transfer my domain registration details, tying me up in more calls to get the details corrected. This company has generally polite and helpful people in support but it appears there is poor technical management, no server monitoring, and a sales force dedicated to up-selling. If you are considering using them for email hosting, discard them as their products are generally not reliable.
Lastly, their status page which is supposed to show any outages, NEVER shows issues while they are in progress, unless you dig behind, where you will find details of past events, but nothing on current problems. Their old web page, advertising mailPlus, the service I have been on up until now, states that the Data Centres were in Australia, but I confirmed today that the servers are all in Singapore, another blatant misinformation. The pictures I attached show a Status Screen showing no issues, but details behind the screen show a different picture, hidden to the casual eye. Just don't use them.
FURTHER TO THIS, AFTER A 21 HOUR OUTAGE, THEIR "FIX" LASTED 3 HOURS, AND WE ARE NOW INTO A SECOND OUTAGE ALREADY LASTING 13 HOURS. THESE PEOPLE ARE TECHNICALLY INCOMPETENT.
But wait, the saga goes on. Now at 57 hours and only contact with their "Support" is "Chat" which also has extended wait times. These people are technically incompetent and have no regard for customer service. They send boilerplate platitudes from their "Online Experience Specialists" saying they know how important email is to you, then fail to fix their system, Meanwhile, their Pulse monitoring web page shows no problems since March 7th. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

So I have finally had enough of Vodien's dishonest and scammy style of operations, and moved my account to CLDY.
The timeline of their latest scammy behaviour is listed below:
27 Feb 2026: I receive an e-mail from a Rene Plateno, Business Development Specialist at Vodien (Singapore).
His e-mail reads:
We are reaching out with regard to the subject above. Please be advised that our mailValue plan is no longer offered to new customers, as we’ve transitioned to a new email platform. In light of this, we are reaching out to existing customer who are on the legacy platforms because we need to discuss the options in upgrading to the newer server to avoid service restrictions and interruptions.
Basing on your current usage, the recommended plan is:
Titan Email - Personal Plan - 2 Accounts Each license includes
5 GB Email Storage
Web & Mobile Apps
Calendar & Contacts
Email Forwarding & Alias
Upgrade cost:
3 years = $183.92
The plain English meaning of this e-mail from Rene Plateno is:
1. My existing e-mail plan will be phased out.
2. Rene Plateno has analysed my profile and would like me to buy a 3-year plan at $183.92.
I have NEVER bought ANY 3-year package from Vodien. ALL my e-mail renewals have only been on single-year basis. So I do not know where Rene Plateno found it fitting for me to buy a 3 year package at one go. Unless of course, he wants to maximise his commissions.

Thank you for your question. To straight the record right, we offer you a 3-year upfront charge because 15% discount is applied whereas the 1 year is only 5% discount and the 2 years is only $10% discount.
The Titan email is charge per mailbox so if per mailbox charge is:
$34.66 x 2 = $69.32 1 year
$65.40 x 2 = $130.80 2 years
$93 x 2 = $ = $186.00 3 years
Note: Those pricing above are discounted rate according as mentioned above.
Now, you have a remaining credit from your current plan which is $21.51 which will be applied accordingly. So, let me know which term you wish to take advantage so we can prepare the top up invoice.

I use the Live Chat intending to actually sign up for the Titan e-mail plan because as per the e-mail from Rene Plateno I believed that MY EXISTING PLAN WILL BE PHASED OUT (which I found out about an hour later to be a complete lie). I used the Live Chat because I do not wish to deal with him. But somehow the agent I am chatting with still puts Rene Plateno on the Chat. I repeat my earlier assertion to him that he is dishonest but he denies it. I tell him in upper case that I do not wish to deal with him. He refuses to put another agent on the chat. For Vodien's benefit: This exchange is on record because I have the chat transcript.
I call the Hotline +65 6018 3544 and speak to a Mary. I tell her I want to sign up for one year of Titan as proposed by Rene Plateno. Mary wants to refer me to Rene Plateno. I tell her no, I do not want to talk to him. After some discussion Mary tells me that my existing plan WILL NOT be phased out. I am shocked at this revelation; that Rene Plateno has lied to me about my existing plan being phased out and almost deceiving me into signing up for a more expensive plan.
I demand that Mary transfer me to a supervisor. She puts me on hold. She comes back and says all the supervisors are in an "emergency meeting" (her exact words). I ask her to get one of them to e-mail me. She agrees and promises that I will get an e-mail before the end of business day.
No one e-mails me.
The next day I research my options to migrate my e-mail accounts. Shortly after noon I fill in a webform on the CLDY website. A few minutes later a representative from CLDY messages me at 1232hrs. We firm up a suitable e-mail package. By 1430hrs my e-mail accounts are ported over. In just 2 hours. No fuss. No lies.
