I have checked the customs documents for this order. The value of this parcel was not overdeclared. Therefore, if customs charges are high, it's because Canadian import taxes and customs fees are high, and not something that we can control; they would be the same for every retailer. Our international prices are reduced by 20% to remove UK VAT, on the understanding that you are then charged import tax at your country's rate. This is explained in detail on our shipping page. I'm sorry your charges are high, but import taxes and charges in another country are not something we control, and the value of the parcel was not overdeclared.

Update: then use more reliable service. Im anycase I want my money back since now it says usps don’t have the item.

Your parcel was delivered, as per tracking.
The explanation given below clearly states that there were issues with US Border Control - the tracking shows that the parcel was with US Border Control from 24th December to 8th January, over the festive period, when they are closed. They are not a courier; they are a government department, over which we obviously have no authority, nor do you. Any other courier would also have to hand parcels to US Border Control for clearance processes into the USA, and would therefore have made no difference. It is not, therefore, a case of using a "more reliable service". The issue is not the courier, but US Border Control over the Festive closure period. There is an express service with FedEx available, who clear parcels themselves, but you did not opt for this, possibly because it is expensive. Even so, the Festive period closures would still have affected the delivery timescale. Our website and terms clearly state that the shipping timescales do not include delays with US Border Control, and we clearly cannot be held responsible for closures of a government department in another country over Christmas and New Year.
When the parcel was delivered to you, on 9th January, which was only one day after USPS were handed the parcel by US Border Control, you raised a chargeback on the basis that the product was 'unacceptable'. You did not contact anyone about this. You did not return the item, in line with the returns process, as everyone else does. You have therefore committed chargeback fraud, which we have defended, reported to the relevant authorities, and will be forwarding for legal action if necessary, especially given that you are happily wearing the product in social media pictures!
In future, it may be better to understand your own country's import processes, to take into account the time of year that you are ordering, and whether this may cause delays, to contact people if there are issues, instead of venting your frustrations on review websites, with inaccurate information and a lack of understanding of importing into your own country.


Hi there, I'm sorry you haven't received your order yet, this is partly due to customs clearance delays in the USA and partly due to the Christmas/New Year festive period.
The order was placed on 22nd December. It was dispatched the same day, with tracking number LE171268265GB. We are based in the UK, as stated on the website, so parcels clear through border control, customs clearance and tariff charging. Your parcel left the UK on 23rd December and arrived at Chicago airport. It was passed to border control at Chicago airport, for customs clearance processes, on 24th December. It has been with them since that time, which is partly due to delays in customs clearance at Chicago airport, over a busy seasonal period, but also due to limited clearance processes over the festive period. They should clear the parcel in the coming days and pass it to USPS for onward delivery, which then usually takes a couple of days. When they pass the parcel to USPS, the tracking will show an estimated delivery date on the USPS website.
I'm sorry for the delays. However, customs clearance processes are operated by US border control, and we are unable to contact them or have any influence. There are currently delays at Chicago airport, but we are also unable to specify which airport parcels enter the US at.
Usually, when there aren't issues at border control, a seasonal busy period and at a time of the year when everything is open and operating at capacity, parcels take about a week from dispatch to delivery in the US. At the moment, this parcel has been on delivery for 3 working days, with the rest of the time spent sitting with border control, awaiting customs clearance.
