Returns process archaic
My mum loves VW and was excited to purchase a dress for my wedding from a London store. She did so but wasn't happy with the quality so decided to buy the same dress online in hope it was better.
She returned the dress in store and they didn't refund it back to her account - it was turned into credit. I went to buy the dress for her using the credit and turns out it can only be used in store and not online - that is so against the norm of modern day returns, I was shocked.
She then made a trip back into London to get the dress again on the same day. The manager recognized her and was extremely rude and said that she was "breaking rules" by rebuying the dress as it had gone into sale since my mum bought it. The whole experience was confidence breaking and totally unreasonable in a climate where returns should be made as easy as possible. Now my mum has £300 on a credit to use in store when she doesn't need it. So so disappointing.
Decline in quality of clothes and bags
I have been buying Vivienne Westwood products for the last 15-20 years (mainly dresses - red label or anglomania - scarves and handbags). Though the prices were always relatively high, the quality was excellent for the price (e.g. £350 for a beautifully crafted leather, lined Italian handbag). In the last few years, the price has risen notably and the quality has declined markedly. E.g. I recently bought a Bettina mini handbag for over £300 in the sale. It is not lined, the hardware looks cheap and feels like plastic. The leather is ok quality. The finishing is poor. It looks like something I could pick up in a market for £30. If I hadn’t bought it from the official online store, I would think that it was a fake. I bought a dress last year that was also so cheaply made that I sent it back. My old VW dresses are still beautiful and have lasted for years. The new items are like cheap high street fast fashion at designer prices. I will never again buy a VW product. The brand has sold out on its ideals and let down its loyal customers.
QUALITE DE L ARTICLE INNACEPTABLE

Je contacte le service client de vivienne westwood qui refuse une quelconque prise en charge !!! Au prix de l article et de la qualité tres médiocre je VOUS DÉCONSEILLE cette marque! Très décevant et inacceptable ! A fuir!
Tarnished after 3 uses…
Decided to treat myself to a vivienne westwood mini orb bracelet after wanting a piece of jewellery from viv for years. it came in last week and wore it for the first time last thursday (so 4 days ago). I immediately noticed that the clasp (carabiner style) was almost impossible to open, so in the past 4 days i have used it 3 times. Once when trying out and twice when removing the bracelet from my wrist. (Ive been carefully sliding it over my hand to put on since that was easier, couldnt do it myself if i tried to clasp it on my wrist) It is already tarnished on the clasp! It looks like it completely scratched the coating off. I wouldnt have bought it if I knew the quality would be on the same level as a McDonalds happy meal toy. I totally understand why people buy Vivienne Westwood dupes on sites like Aliexpress, those probably have better quality. Never buying from Vivienne Westwood again!
Purchased 2 Vivienne Westwood T shirts…
Purchased 2 Vivienne Westwood T shirts from Flannels. Washed as per manufacturer instructions. One is fine but the others logo started to come off on first wash. They said I didn’t wash it as per instructions but I did!! I only asked for an exchange not a refund. Shame as I have purchased over a 100 Vivienne Westwood pieces. Maybe quality has diminished after her sad passing. She will be turning in her grave. RIP Viv but I’ll never purchase from you again. :(
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. Sent a ring back and they said it was showing signs of wear and tear. It’s never been worn as it didn’t fit!! If there’s marks then that’s how it was sent out.

Der Kundenservice schreibt mit Floskeln und ist nicht zur Lösugsfindung der minderwertigen Produkte bereit.
Man sollte lieber bei H&M kaufen als hier.
Bas Relief Pearl Choker bad quality
I bought a Bas Relief Pearl Choker and I am extremely disappointed with the quality. The item has been worn on occasions only and its been purchased only a few months ago. The quality is really poor for a necklase as the gemstone fell out soon after the purchase. Got in touch with customer services and they said they will not help us in any way because the item is worn. Bad quality - poor customer services. Stay away from this company and their products!
Jewellery not suitable for skin
My husband purchased me a £140 Vivienne Westwood bracelet for Christmas and within 4 months it started to discolour. I sent photo's and asked for a refund and was told the following:
'We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and offer a guarantee against defects in workmanship. However, this does not apply for all faults or damages caused by wear and tear of the Jewellery.
Regrettably, the issue (tarnishing) with your bracelet is the result the result of normal wear and tear over time, rather than a manufacturing fault.
We would like to take this opportunity to kindly remind you that the bracelet is considered costume jewellery. As such, it requires extra care and may not wear in the same way as sterling silver. The piece is made from brass, so we recommend keeping it dry and avoiding exposure to water including moisture (sweat included), perfumes, and other chemicals to preserve its appearance. The item should be gently wiped with a clean cloth after each use to remove any residue before storing.
We understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment this may cause. Regrettably, we are unable to offer further assistance on this occasion' Therefore VW brass costume jewellery is not suitable to be worn on skin that sweats, which is all skin, I do not recommend purchasing.
Deception
Envoi rapide, satisfaite de la nouvelle fragrance “Boudoir” proche de la senteur originelle. Mais quelle est cette horreur de packaging dans lequel le parfum est livré ??? Est-ce l’idée et le reflet de ce qui est désormais Vivienne Westwood ??? J’en avais un tout souvenir ! Bref une énorme déception, sans un petit mot du service clientèle en remerciement de l’achat ni un emballage au logo de la marque. J’aurais acheté dans une enseigne de parfumerie j’aurais eu plus de plaisir à ouvrir mon colis ! Copie à revoir !!! Car l’essentiel n’est ce pas la satisfaction de la clientèle ??? Ici Ce n’est pas le cas ! Miss Westwood a révolutionné son époque, désormais son héritage pourrait au moins lui rendre hommage en respectant et préservant son immense patrimoine . Ce sont les petits détails qui font une grande expérience
Qualité médiocre et service client honteux - FUYEZ
La qualité des bijoux et le service client sont désastreux. Ce n'est même pas que la qualité est si mauvaise que les boucles se sont abimées "rapidement", le fermoir de l'une des boucles d'oreilles m'a carrément été livré complètement tordu. On me refuse tout retour ou compensation sous prétexte que ce n'est pas un défaut de fabrication selon eux. Fuyez, à ce prix-là c'est complètement hallucinant !

Spent a lot of money on matching pearl…
Spent a lot of money on matching pearl necklaces and bracelet,both of the I bought for my wife’s Xmas present.Both are falling apart and (gold) fading and pearls are falling off.I would strongly advise not to buy anything from this fraudulent company.
Schlechte Qualität
Der Schmuck den ich Bestellt bzw. geschenkt bekommen habe ist nach ein paar mal tragen gerostet. Und die „Perle“ in meine Kette hat ihre Perlmutt farbe verloren. Es ist eine Plastikperle!!! Die Kette hat 130€ gekostet, abgesehen davon ist sie sehr viel kleiner als angeworben. Das Armband welches 120€ gekostet hat ist nach par mal Wasserberührung ebenfalls gerostet. Für diese Preise und so eine bekannte Marke inakzeptabel!!
Poor presentation and tacky looking
Bought necklace for my daughters 18th birthday for £120. It arrived in pouch in box chain all tangled looks very cheap. Nicer jewellery off Abbot Lyon arrived half the price and much nicer presentation and quality.

I bought my wife a peal necklace and matching bracelet for Xmas.The bracelet broke within 2 weeks and the gold necklace is turning silver.It so bad considering how much I spent on these items,I would never recommend Vivienne Westwood to any one stay well clear.
Boucles d'oreilles fragiles, non réparables et zéro assistance
Nous avons offert les boucles d'oreille "Mini Bas Relief Earrings " sur le site Internet. Après avoir déboursé une somme folle pour l'envoi, nous l'avons reçu dans un emballage très peu protecteur. Après six mois d'utilisation, une tige bouge, rendant impossible l'utilisation de la boucle d'oreilles. Nous avons contacté WestWood qui refuse toute réparation, indiquant que les boucles d'oreilles doivent être mises dans des conditions strictes (ne pas dormir avec, par exemple). Comment voulez-vous dormir avec ces boucles dont la tige est immense? Nous avons tenté une réparation près de chez nous. Problème : ils ne réparent pas le laiton. Ah oui! c'est du laiton. 120 euros pour du laiton. A fuir !
Mare necklace and chain
I ordered a Mare necklace and chain , didn't take it out of the box.
I few weeks later went to wrap it up for my daughters 30 th and I cried as the chain was blue and discoloured and the whole necklace was in a shocking condition.
Customer services where not very helpful they said I must have got sweat on it or perfume .
They would not exchange it or refund so I'm stuck with £192 necklace that's worthless! So sad and angry never worth the money .

Webshoppen sender en vare, som ikke ligner det på billede. Jeg forsøger at sende retur, men de påråber sig, at de har skrevet i betingelser, at øreringe ikke kan returneres.
Jeg sender uåbnet retur og de modtager den, men vil ikke sende pengene retur. og de vel endda have penge for at sende den tilbage.
SÅ pas på med at handle her, da de ikke lever op til forbrugerlov mv. og ikke yder nogen kundeservice. Den eneste webshop som ikke tager uåbnet øreringe retur. Håbløst.
Expérience client déplorable
Très grande déception concernant la boutique Vivienne Westwood du McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny.
Un article acheté comme cadeau s’est avéré trop grand. Nous nous sommes présentés en boutique dans le délai d’échange affiché (30 jours). L’échange a été refusé par la responsable au motif que l’article « sentirait la lessive », sous-entendant qu’il aurait été lavé, ce qui est totalement faux. L’article n’a jamais été porté ni lavé, seulement essayé quelques secondes.
Aucune preuve n’a été apportée, uniquement une supposition, malgré notre bonne foi. Pire encore, le ticket de caisse original a été conservé sans échange ni remboursement.
Depuis, malgré de multiples démarches (appels, mails, service client, et même un signalement officiel), le magasin ne donne aucune nouvelle, laissant penser à une volonté de faire traîner jusqu’à l’expiration du délai.
Un comportement anti-commercial, un manque total de professionnalisme et de respect du client, indigne de l’image d’une marque de ce standing.
Je déconseille fortement cette boutique.
