I think the concept of Virtonomics is great. It is however, not set up for the enjoyment of all. You can't get anywhere in the game unless you buy status and Game Points (GP). I've gone bankrupt and have needed to restart 4 times in the last month. Sadly, it's a pay to play only if you want to succeed.

To succeed you need to have a well trained manager. To have a manager with high skills, you have to spend Game Points. From what I've seen, the only way to get Game Points is by purchasing them.

Again, a really great concept, just impossible to play unless you pay a lot of money.

The game is getting worse and worse. There is basically no improvement of quality, no new features, bugs are not fixed, broken designs are not changed etc. instead existing features, even those that have design issues, are made "premium" and change from free to insanely expensive. The owners of this game fish for whales who spend a lot of money in a short period of time and go again. There is no intention to make this game available to a wide range of people.

I have nothing against paying for a good game, but a subscription model allowing to pay 499 € per month! without any improvement of the game in that period is beyond ridiculous.

I can't believe the 5-star reviews. It has a steep learning curve and has nothing to do with "business simulation" as it reflects very very few from owning a real business.
It's a game and just that.
Recent changes make it more pay to win than anything (and they want you to keep on paying). The game also needs a restart, because starting now means you'll be extremely far behind on other players and it will literally take years to get to the point you'll pay a mediocre role (when playing daily).

I have been playing this game for over 3 years now with much pleasure. Unfortunately, the developers decided to remove all the interesting features for free-to-play players (auctions, bonds and structures). It hurts to give only 2 stars because this used to be a great game, but it is what is is.

+/- 6 лет назад начался крах этой игры - в игре посвященной рыночной модели была уничтожена рыночная модель. В течении этих лет (а я играю в игру всю ее историю) в год выходило одно хорошее начинание, которое убивалось десятком других. Вектор развития игры окончательно был потерян.
в 2023 году администрация игры пошла наконец на модель подписок, что дало надежду на появления внятного бюджета развития и содержания игры. Но по итогам года, вместо создания новых ценностей для игроков с подпиской, администрация решила отбирать имеющиеся для игроков без подписки. Причем ввела это втихую: письма получили отдельные игроки, а оповещение в игре нет уже вторые сутки.
Для меня такой подход равнозначен плевку в лицо и смерти проекта. Жаль.

I have been playing Virtonomics for years, until today it has been the best business sim you could find. Unfortunately it became pay to win as off today and not really worth playing anymore. They don´t realise they ain´t even close to Netflix and are DONE by putting halve the game under subscription. Player bases from multi million games have diminished since this trend started and Virtonomics is next. The bigger they are the harder they fall. The smaller they are the sooner they fall.
I was planning on a large, in depth review with 5 stars. I even made a template already with pros and cons but you guys ain´t worth my time anymore.

It wouldn´t be so bad if auctions were still without subscription, since this made it worth making virtocurrency. This is what makes the game pay to win. Unfortunately you guys smell money and it is not mine..

Do you guys value the time(or thousands of dollars) me and many other players put in to this game? You're so called efforts are widely NOT appreciated by many OG players.
I had a bussiness strategy to recirculate every dollar I made last years to keep the economy running and help players, to eventually start playing more low key in the coming years by buying resources via auction/sell at low prices and right at the point to start looking for auctions you totally drowned it. Making everyone retire for good is what you guys are doing,

Why would I tell you my company and realm? So you can ban me? Yall proofed many times you cannot be trusted.
These bad reviews are not from trolls, who else but players has heard or cares about Virtonomics. If anyone is trolling its Virtonomics, there reply shows they don't care about anyone or his/her opinion. Interfering it is what they call it

No one with a grain of selfrespect starts over in another realm after years of building there empire and spending lots of money already.

I consider Virtonomics ignorance in these financially hard times for most of the world as there final convulsions.

EDIT 2: The reviews from Constant Vreman, Sandip Kant, Akshay Bhardwaj and Abhay Bhat are clearly created to keep the rating up. 2 in NL, 2 in US. All 4 are verified. All in 24 hours. Almost the same names, clearly not Dutch names. All experienced at 4 Jan. Virtonomics reply is also 4 Jan. Written in exactly the same manner as Virtonomics marketing team writes. WHO do you think your fooling? These are not the only dubious reviews, there are many more. Pattern is too obvious, as I said, Virtonomics cannot be trusted and they KNOW it, nice try. Trustpilot should ban you guys for tampering with reviews.
