Great game, very fun to interact with but limiting long term for more freenuim players as they block progression without GP unlike other economy games of similar nature. would be nice if you could automate the repair of your equipment if you have a warehouse with equipment in it though-

I've been playing Virtonomics for a few weeks now, and honestly, it's one of the most realistic business simulations I’ve come across. It’s detailed, competitive, and actually makes you think about real business decisions. No ads or pay-to-win mechanics. Just strategy and smart planning. Definitely recommend it if you're into business or management games.

This is one of the best business simulation game I have ever played. The game is very much engaging and realistic.

This game is so unbelievably pay to win, I played this long ago, and I logged in again today to see what has become of my company. To my surprise it's still running, and in fact it's one of the richest companies because I had bought resources back before they were locked behind real life currency pay walls. To give you an idea how pay to win this game has become, there are GPs and a Subscription. GPs are now required to open a business unit, and even more GPs to open a Raw Resource Business such as a Mine, Farm, or a Fishery. What this means is that players who can afford one of those then become the sole provider of those to other players (or more likely, they will sell only to their OWN company so they can make their own stores and own the public market share.) The craziest part is that it costs at minimum 20 GPs for one of these raw productions and that's at MINIMUM quality and SIZE (Quality affects how good it is). For 20GPs you have to pay $19.00. This game offers up to $500 USD GP purchases. Then the Subscriptions are even more insane! Ranging from $7 for basic features that used to be free to play such as automated repairing or services to a whopping $249.00 a month!!! Don't play this game it's not what it used to be.

+ 3/26/2025 - The game has also made several things which used to be free now locked behind a pay wall, you can no longer make a Mobile Network Center without paying at least $20/month. Players who bought them when they were free now get to use the most profitable service industry in the game to grow massive. This is not a business simulation game anymore... it's now a how fat is your wallet checker.

Es un excelente simulador, es muy realista. Me parece bien para aprender sobre negocios y el mundo empresarial. Este simulador te prepare de lo mejor para los negocios reales, lo recomiendo 100%

nice for people who want to learn how a business works

I've been playing Virtonomics for several years now. When I started, the game was a very good business simulation game and would have deserved a 4 star rating.

Unfortunatly, the DEV became greedy over time and the recent updates add no new interresting features, but rather added only more pay to win stuff and even removed free content to put it under subscription.

Nowadays, new "free to play" players can only do 2 things in the game to be profitable :
1) Buy stuff from existing players at low price and resell it at a higher price in their store.
2) Buy stuff from existing players, store it in a warehouse and resell it at a higher price.

So the game is really hostile towards new players who start not only with a huge economic disadvantage, but also with only a few options in the game unless to be ready to spend thousands of $$$.

I suspect that the DEV seek to extract as much money from existing players before closing the game definitly in some years.
