Terrible. Despite buying over USD 50K of wine through Vinfolio, cannot get a proper recap of the bottles I own and stored at Vinfolio, nor a recap of the orders I placed over the years. As if they were stolen... Emails are not being returned, forget phone calls. Some older Krug vintages (80's) bought through Vinfolio turned out to be bad, probably weren't transported right, or bought from unreliable sources. Complete disaster. Stay away.

The Vinfolio concept is excellent. The UX, however, is terrible and not yet consistent across desktop and mobile platforms. They are working on it, but it is far away from good. I'm really hoping it gets better soon and am pulling for them!

Vinfolio does a terrific job in sourcing outstanding Bordeaux, Sauternes and Burgundy. The staff is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. They deliver excellent client service and I have recommended Vinfolio to friends & family. Great job!

After all of the years of loyal service as a customer, and despite the massive headaches we endured with your inventory software failure, you now are trying to âupgradeâ your consumer facing software, yet the app that we use to check wine out is useless and will take another year + (at best since no one can tell us when) to get the app functional again.
Whoever is making these decisions is ruining the customer experience. Likely Don, who doesnât give a crap about loyal customers. Iâm likely to move my inventory out to 55 degrees or any other service provider at this point. Vinfolio lack of customer service is appalling.

I have had a few issues with wines arriving at Vinfolio recently (I understand some lags have occurred based on logistics and COVID). I was satisfied overall with the VF responses, but did need to push a bit to get all the fixes in a timely basis.
I am such a fan of Vinfolio in many other ways that I just attributed this to a one-time challenge. If it weren't for this, I would rate VF customer service a 5.

I bought several bottles of vintage Dow port, actually silver jubilee, several years ago. Recently Iâve received serval emails stating that my locker was paid for and awaiting an arrival shipment, I assumed this was a generic email. Then in January of 2022 I get another email stating my case of fine Italian wine was ready for shipment to me me, I live in Napa , so shipping wasnât a problem. I simply pick it up, however to me this seemed odd. Through in the fact that I didnât order any wine let alone have or pay for a locker. Then after looking at the receipt I noticed the last four digits were from a canceled credit card , I assumed fraud! I emailed them stating the later, they informed me that in fact I ordered the wine, wow! Again an email stating no I did not! Then I went thru my deleted emails only to discover they had the wrong Mr Ross. So I called no response, I went back to that latter email and contacted the actual owner of the wine, who stated heâd been trying to retrieve his wine since October of 2021 now January 2022. I email them once again explaining they have the wrong person, they promptly said theyâd remove me and apologized and would send the wine back!
The site has a very broad assortment of wines and reasonable if not the best prices
Recently, because of COVID some issues with pre arrival dates for itâs ok

All I can say is that I had to call a few times to arrange to have my wines picked up, but the guy who picked them up was terrific and texted me a photo of my palleted boxes. That was on September 30th. I decided to leave Vinfolio alone until after the holidays. They FINALLY sent me notifications on 1/6/22! I still have to double check if all my wine is accounted for.
Iâve experienced significant delays (4-5 weeks) from the time a shipment is delivered to Vinfolio to the time it has been inventoried and visible on the platform. In addition, the only shipment I requested from my cellar in storage at Vinfolio never shipped and worse yet, I wasnât even notified it remained in storage. The only way I found out is when the recipient reached out stating the shipment never arrived. Overall, look elsewhere for your wine storage needs. If I hadnât just transferred my whole cellar, I would find an alternative.
