The free version is more than enough for casual editing, be it memes or youtube videos. It's really easy to learn and operate. I never knew that greenscreen editing could be this easy. VSCD is almost like a toyota corolla of video editor. Affordable, reliable and stylish :D

Nice software, much functions and all for free!

First of all, i train people at work. It's gotten to the point im tired of doing it again and again and im getting old.

So I started looking for lecture softwares that'd help me. I used plenty if not a lot, i wasn't happy with their free use, due to Ads, limited use and those watermarks.

A friend told me of VSDC. For a free software you can use many options already. no Ads, no watermarks and they dont reduce your video quality and don't have limited use, of course more will be available upon Pro use.

So, why 4 stars? I like it really, havent experienced any issues, they update plenty and has a good changelog. I usually make mine always 4 stars not to be biased and i will change it sooner or later if my experience become better or worse so that it'd be a fair review (for me of course)

Changed from 4 to 5 stars, I actually bought the pro version for a year which can be used for two computers since it's cheap and they deserve the support.

I honestly have no idea what changed from free to pro but i prefer VSDC among others

why 5 stars ?
first of all its totally free there is no annoying watermark or filigranes like some softwares
secondally it works for low end pcs just fine
finally vsdc got every feature u will think about and its easy to work with

Great software, it has been my favorite of all the others I've used. I highly recommend it. The amount of help videos also makes this very worthwhile.

The free software is good but the pro seems dodgy.

Clicking "upgrade" you are taken to a payment page where it shows you the "total price" for the upgrade. Except it's not the total price. There's a sneaky little tick box that mentions 'subscription' but the actual billing and details don't tell you it's a subscription rather than an outright purchase.

Is it £20 for a week, month, year? Who knows!? They certainly don't want to tell you anywhere on their website, and I've searched for it. I think it's a dodgy practice.

This company is stealing money from a repeat customer, they said that I should have read their policy properly.
Have subscribed with them before, but this time the product ain't working properly ,they asked for an explanation on what went wrong, and I think their policy ain't right.
Their 30 days money back a scam, avoid subscribing with them.
Company will be sued.

Needed a free editor to merge my GoPro captures and export at 120 fps, this piece of software was exactly what I needed. I will search for a way to make a contribution, these are good developers.

I use VSDC for several years.After each update I'm surprised about the new functionality. The most important is that the tool is stable, fast and it is easy to set the first steps getting the right video. Especially the option of using you graphic card is really good.
Also the support is very good.
An point of improvement for me is the User interface. Sometime it is difficult to find the right options

I am really impressed how a powerful and professional video editor like VSDC works fine on my old specs machine (Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, and Geforce G210). It gives me 1080p quality preview with no issues and superior quality of the exported videos. It would be great if the interface is made more intuitive in the upcoming versions. Highly recommended.

Best Video editing software ever used. It's perfect for beginners as well as pros.I highly recommend vsdc, it will never let you down.

I've found VSDC to have an intuitive workflow and a robust selection of amazing effects. It has everything I need (and then some) to easily make the music videos I'm working on. And the finished products are top-notch professional quality I'm confident in sharing with the public.

There's not much I dislike about VSDC. If I had to pick something, maybe having to pay for premium features, but the price is practically free (less for a whole year than Adobe Premier is for one month), so I don't have any complaints at all.

VSDC Free solved the problem I had with paying for a product such as Premier. Also, it runs on my older computer while Premier requires a newer graphic card to operate. The other free (or nearly-free) video products I've tried are hard to use or don't offer all the features and effects I need.

Auf der Website steht klar, deutlich und unmissverständlich, dass die Software kostenlos ist, keine Testversion ist und ohne Einschränkungen genutzt werden kann - das ist jedoch eine dreiste Lüge! Ich wäre bereit Geld dafür zu zahlen - aber so nicht. Erst recht nicht, nachdem ich die anderen Bewertungen hier gelesen habe. Software sollte vielleicht doch von großen Firmen programmiert werden und nicht vom Informatikkurs der 7a.

Its getting better over the years I use this Software professionally it runs smoother tahn Premiere and does not eat your Ram, a few things are missing, such as guidelines and export a certain sequence only, hopefully it will get there one day.

Great video editor. The only one I was able to find that supports H.265/HEVC videos from my GoPro

Its free plan is a great editor for usual unprofessional video editing - no watermark, no export limits. One thing I have to say about VSDC is that rendering previews of sped-up videos is slow and creates a lot of lag (or might just be my pc). But other than that, it has all the essential tools such as text, cropping, effects, and chroma key. If you're looking for sufficient free no-watermark software, I would recommend VSDC.

Finally a software that is really free. No watermarks no payment request when you try to export. No... really free. If you just start as a content creator, you will be happy with it. It is a bit complicated with all the buttons. Especially since I am new at editing. But I am happy to learn. I will definitely do a donation now. And pay for pro as soon as I get more money in my pocket.

I've paid for the Pro version. Turn out that it is ONLY ONE YEAR LICENSE.
No where on the page do they write that accept hidden in the Term of Use.
That is misleading and against the law in my country.
