This software really helped me a lot in learning video editing for free. VSDC allows you a wide range of features as a free video editor. I have learned so many skills by using free version and now i am applying for the Pro version.

VDSC is a Competent editor. Put some time in to learn it, and you will be happy with what you can create. My background is Broadcast TV and Radio. For being free with an upgrade it is a feature rich editor that put a full palate of creativity at your fingertips. You will put in some time, and watch some tutorials to learn it. In the end you will be rewarded for your effort.

Ich habe in den letzten Tagen viele kostenlose Schnittprogramme getestet, auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit virtuelle Hintergründe zu nutzen, z.B. über einen Greenscreen. Die meisten davon waren nur Probeversionen mit sehr wenigen Möglichkeiten und kurzer Laufzeit. Was mich zu erst an VSDC Free Video Editor erstaunt hat, ist wie viele Optionen bereits in der Freeware verfügbar sind: Meinen Greenscreen konnte ich problemlos durch ein Bild oder Video ersetzen und sogar Gesichtsfilter einfügen, mehrere Ebenen übereinander einfügen, deren Farbe und Transparenzen manipulieren, egal ob Video, Bild oder Textebene. Ich kann alle Elemente beschneiden, drehen, spiegeln und Animationen für Übergänge einfügen.
Zunächst war ich misstrauisch, ob ich mein Werk in einem gängigen Videoformat würde speichern können, da ich eine Rezension gelesen hatte, die besagte, es ginge nicht. Tatsächlich poppte beim Speichern ein Fenster auf, dass für die Pro Version warb, aber es hat trotzdem alles geklappt. Ich kann mich nicht beklagen. Das Programm hält was es verspricht.

I have been using VSDC for over 4 years its the best in the market for what it is used for , Editing a video was never this easy and the way all is put out in the software is just stunning anyone who wants to create a stunning video should get VSDC - Martin

The vsdc video editor is simple easy to use and preserves video quality

VSDC Free Video Editor doesn´t accept mp4-files. Haven´t seen any hint prior to download. Have to delete the program because useless for me.

VSDC VideoEditor is a professional video editor.
It is worth noting the convenient interface, many video and audio effects, and high video processing speed. I quickly understood the basic functions and edited the video to my needs in a short time. I advise and recommend this program
Among the disadvantages, I would include the fact that the free version of the program does not have enough cool visual effects.

I have been using VSDC's Video Editor for a few years now. I knew ZERO before starting out with this. It was fairly easy to learn the basics, and I am still discovering and learning to use new features every time I use it. There is so much here that I still know nothing about. I absolutely still consider myself a beginner, but look forward to exploring everything this program has to offer. It's a great easy-to-use program for people like me, and I can only imagine what a more experienced and knowledgeable editor could do with it.

I use VSDC Free video Editor for many years. The first thing to notice is that you can really use the soft on both an old computer and on a powerful one. The soft is compatible with both 32bits and 64 bits platforms. Wich is pretty rare nowadays. The software VSDC is really free with no watermark and you can export your video even in 4k with no Watermark. Also there is many transitions, color filters (like instagram filters but for videos), luts support, video effects, and many more things. One thing for my use is the lacking in the soft VSDC is the text animations. I often use text to express in my videos so for that I use a free app called "HypeText" on my android smartphone to make text animations. In the recent version 8.2, I noticed a bug when I import a file on the timeline by drag and drop if there is a text object on the timeline the duration of the text objet change unexpectedly. But regardless of this bug, which i think will be corrected in the future release, the software is really awesome for a free software.

It is definetly not free, I can tell you that much. Better to skip this one. I am currently in a conflict over email with their support team regarding a refund, they are entirely unwilling to cooperate.

They have a pro version that has additional features, which they do not lock out of the free version. You won't know you've used it until you're exporting your project, that is when they will demand a subscription from you. I failed to notice the tiiiiny tiny "continue anyway" text at the very bottom, that would allow me to export without premium features, so I paid. While waiting for payment to process, I went back and checked, that is when I saw it. Managed to export without premium features and now they're clinging to my payment like greedy little goblins. They get you with the fine print and semantics, just be wary of this company.

lagg cant edit video 1080p like its 2023 your software is like 2010 lagg slow freeze every 10 min have to wait not gonna instal this sofware again uninstal delete

It's great software. I began my career with the help of this software. I'm always grateful for this.

SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

I've tried a lot of video editors, but this one is the one I prefer the most.
I especially like how you can just drag elements around, resize, group, rotate etc. and this is to me still the most intuitive way there could be. It's a shame I haven't seen more editors work that way.
There is a gigantic set of features that is basically all I need, highly customisable too. Lots of features got added ever since I started using it years ago.
A bunch of features are locked behind a paywall but to me they are worth the yearly charge, but I understand that not everyone likes that, especially since "Free" is in the name.
The only "serious" complaint I have right now is that it does not have a version for macOS, which is an issue since I switched away from Windows, so I have to use VM in order to use it. Still, even in that case it is much nicer to use than the alternatives available for macOS. But of course I wouldn't say no to a native version for macOS ;)
All in all, very satified!

As a retired editor for a major television station in the UK I can say that VSDC will allow you to create some stunning productions.

the 2 first time I used the software it was working well, then the more you use their free version the more there is bugs inside the editor, weird noise space before your video cuts impossible to remove, you can't insert videos anymore, they have put bugs in the free version in order for you to buy the Pro Version, Really really bad way of dealing with free customers, removed from my software, USELESS !!!!!

SCAM!!!

This software is clearly advertised as "FREE Video Editor" BULL-S...!!! This is just a demo/lite version! You can not even use simple opacity automation with the lite version in fact this is useless until you buy it. I'd be fine with that but THIS IS NOT A FREE VIDEO EDITOR!! SCAM!!!! ITS NOT FREE so dont advertise it as FREE!!!

easy, fast to learn

Great program, saved me a lot of time and effort many times already. I often wanted to make "fancy" videos supporting research papers, e.g. several movies pasted into one, different playback speeds, overlays, and that kind of stuff, and VSDC never failed to save me a lot of time and give me great results. I've just purchased the pro, which was not necessary for my purposes, but I did anyway. Simply because the free version in hindsight was already well worth the 20 USD, and I would gladly support the company to continue this program.

Great program, can definitely recommend using it if you are in an academic setting or in a corporate setting and want to deliver clean instruction/descriptive videos.
