Great, until it isn't... And a final result.

I ordered 2 items, used a provided coupon for $20 off, and awaited delivery. One of the items arrived in a very timely manner, no problems whatsoever. The other item never arrived at all which can happen, but it's the 'correction' offered which is why I'm writing this.

I asked about the missing delivery 10 days after it failed to arrive, and was asked to please wait a few days and offered a $15 compensation voucher (which I never got). After another few days of no movement of the missing item, I contacted them again and they stated the item could not be recovered and the wording of their reply was that it would be refunded. I figured that would be ok, and I could order it again and be out the 2 weeks waiting on an item that should have arrived in 1 week or less.

My refund was processed instantly, less the balance of the $20 voucher used on the original order. If I ordered the same item again, I'd have to make up the difference in addition to the 2 weeks I'd already been waiting. With the offered $15 compensation coupon, I'd be out less than $1, and while slightly disappointing, ok. But no.

The answers to my questions and concerns were very quick, but completely insincere and made no effort to make things even close to being 'good and right'.

Sure, it's not a lot of money. About $16 in the end if I ordered the item again. I'd have been happy to simply have them send me another item (they're still in stock as I type this) but that wasn't offered as an option. I've have been happy if they offered up a replacement coupon I could use to make sure I wouldn't be out of pocket, only out some time.

I'm kind of glad this happened when it wasn't something important, so I know to avoid Vevor completely in the future. The final paragraph in the ticket communications mentioned hoping that they might be able to restore my confidence in the in the future. Never EVER going to happen.

When things go right, great. When things go wrong, that's when you find out what companies are making a genuine effort and Vevor just isn't.

I just wanted what I ordered and paid for. I was willing to wait for it. I was happy to make use of the conditional coupon offered and upped my order to actually use it! I'm not unreasonable, but I also don't want to feel like I got shafted just for being a customer.

Addendum; I must adjust this review in light of recent events. First, I did recieve the refund of the item I ordered, that was not a problem at all. Second, Vevor sent me a $40 coupon, no minimum spend as an apology, which would have been sufficient if I wasn't already quite disappointed and unlikely to order from them again. Third, the item I ordered eventually turned up almost 3 weeks after I ordered it, and fully 2 weeks after the shipper received it according to their tracking tool. Considering it was sent from Melbourne me in another part of Melbourne, I'm not sure how it takes that long to move it from one part of the city to another part of the same city.

I contacted Vevor with this news, and offered to pay for the item I ordered, hopefully with the $40 coupon applied to make it a reasonable deal in the end and to assuage some of my angst. Vevor decided that I should keep the item, and the refund. That's far more than I wanted or expected, and I am grateful for that offering. I just wish there wasn't so much drama getting to this final result, and I didn't feel like I guilt-ed them into doing this.

In the end, I will order from Vevor again however I will be quite judicious in my purchases and I will not use the offered coupon, doing so really would not sit right with me at all.

Admin process

No issues purchasing or receiving the product, however getting an invoice correctly addressed - to the purchaser and not the receiver - is proving difficult. Appears no receipt is available either. Initial response to the request was swift, nothing received when requesting to correct the purchaser details in the name of the business the account was created for.
EDIT: This has since been resolved, not sure about a receipt, but will let it rest.
