Do not buy from them. Ships from china and is very bad quality, looked good in the photo but was extremely cheap material considering the jacket was $120, I can buy far better quality jackets for $60. Will never buy from them again. Since it’s sent from china they tell me customs could make the cost more than the product for returning. They offer a 10% refund, which is an absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

The product took awhile to get here and it’s absolute garbage. I would never buy it again. I bought a size up from what I thought would fit me and it’s still too small and the quality is awful. Don’t waste your money.

I purchased what was described as a linen shirt. On arrival it was not linen. It was polyester. I asked for a full refund. I paid for the product to be sent back to the warehouse in China. They refused to accept the item back and it was returned to me. They will not process the refund until the shirt is returned. 20+ emails and 5 month later I still have no refund. DON'T BUY.

Products quality, style, size, colours and fabric are all not true to the picture ypu think you are buying in Melbourne Australia. The company operates under false pretences and is unprofessional and dishonest.

It's a scam! do not buy from here, the clothing is cheap and made in china, store isnt based in melbourne or Australia, I tried cancelling my order but then they said it already shipped and it couldnt be cancelled even though my order hadnt even be processed yet? So i called my bank and luckily that gave me money back by via chargeback, now ive got my money back and two cheap shirts that dont even fit made by some kids in a sweatshop.

Not bad overall, just wish the fabric felt a bit thicker and sturdier.

If I could I would give no star.
Please be aware of this company. Their picture look good, but their products was shockingly cheap. I received my formal dress today that was not cheap, but came looking very cheap. So so disappointed!!!

Van Hallen Melbourne – Disappointed and Misled

I ordered a cardigan for my husband on May 5th, and as of May 20th, it still hasn’t arrived. I placed the order thinking this company was based in Melbourne, but it’s now clear that the product is not coming from Australia at all.

After doing some digging and reading other customer reviews, I strongly believe this is a scam or at the very least, a misleading business.

Please be cautious before ordering from Van Hallen Melbourne.

The quality’s decent for the price, but the fit wasn’t quite right for me.

AVOID at all costs ! The product is a cheap, terrible quality material, absolute rubbish from China. You can buy better and MUCH cheaper from TEMU. Don't believe in 5 star reviews, they're fake ! The support will gaslight you about a refund telling you how great their product is and how much they want to help you in the end leaving you out of pocket with a rubbish product.

BEWARE!!! I have ordered and received a 3 Piece Cotton Suit from Van Hallen Melbourne. But was send a polyester version which is also, in my opinion, of the lowest quality similar to that of a cheap dress-up costume.
They have offered to refund the purchase price but require me to return the items at my expense and warned me that it will be expensive and will take months. Seems like a well calculated way to scam money from people through nasty return policies. BEWARE!!!

Scammers. Still trying to get a refund 5 months later

Quality is poor. Sizing on my suit was wayyyy off - like 3 sizes too small. Refund process is a nightmare and they are certainly not based in Australia - actually in China! Stay away. Not worth your money or time.

These guys should be in jail This piece of garbage suit they sent, after I asked you to refund me and cancel my order ,as I found out you lied about where the company was from ,claiming to be an Australian brand when you are based in china and you still delayed and sent it late anyway, this suit is beyond a joke and not what was described I ordered an XL and I can’t even get it on it’s that small and the material isnt even cotton it’s honestly, something you would find in a costume store on a ventriloquist’s dummy I demanded a full refund from this con job of a website, and they just give you the run around. Please don’t buy !!!

Like others, thought they were a Melbourne company but from China... the cardigan I ordered is plastic rubbish that will matte as soon as it's washed. Wish I'd read the reviews before, so just adding mine here hoping it helps

Horrible clothing!! Cheap chinese knock offs! clothes don't look anything like the pictures. They're a scam company and only give you a partial refund. Seems like they have other sites with similar names. DO YOUR RESEARCH DONT GET CONNED LIKE THE REST OF US!

What a con! You think you are ordering from a Melbourne store when in fact it is from China, Don’t go anywhere near this website it is a fraud!

Yip agree with all these bad reviews. The clothing is paper thin, nothing really like the pictures. Also took forever to get here, won’t be asking for a refund as it sounds like it’s a waste of time and effort. Don’t buy from this place!

I was fooled as well thinking it was a store in Melbourne , really poor quality eventhough they are not expensive shoes it’s the principal .
they are not the same colour or texture or quality as advertised a complete scam ! if i could post photos you would see just how much of a scam this is ! i will take this as a lesson learned and please save your self and DO NOT purchase anything from this bogus website ! i cannot stand being misled or deceived and this is what it is :( Scammers !!!

Absolute scam! The 5-star reviews have to be fake.
The clothes are cheap, costume-like, worse than temu quality knockoffs what's pictured. They are sized WAY too small. Like I ordered an XL and had a tailor measure them (I had to submit a letter from a professional to the bank to get my money back!) and she said nothing measured larger than an 8.

First you order the clothes.
Second they take over a month to get to you.
They arrive and are garbage, you complain.
They tell you keep the clothes and they'll give you 10% back, then 20%, then 30% discouraging shipping them back (because they won't accept them and they'll be returned to you and now you've spent another $50 to return them)
You dispute the charge with the bank
They dispute your dispute, saying you never contacted them.
The bank requests a letter from a professional evaluating the clothes...
And that's where I'm up to now.
