I am really impressed with this company. From the very first message sent they were so helpful. From picking the right colours, fabrics etc. The sofa is EXACT in terms of measurements. The quality of the fabric is great. The colour is spot on. It's really well stuffed too! The seams, the shape, all great.They delivered what I asked for. And any questions after were responded too. It also came in about a week? Would definitely order again.

Unfortunately we are being ghosted. When I received the sofa I sent them next day all the issues I found. They very politely replied they were sorry but would solve them. We asked how, they never replied. I then told I’d like to take my 14 days return rights and they said they don’t do it and promised they would solve the issues again. I thanked them and asked what was the plan to fix the issues. Never heard back anymore. I was avoiding making this public, but it went beyond the acceptable. I see other people here also faced similar issues. I’ll keep trying to get the issues sorted and try to return the sofa unfortunately.

Avoid at All Costs — Utter Scammers

We ordered a sofa and footstool, but only the sofa was delivered. The delivery team was extremely rude, demanded a cash tip, and rushed through the process. Although we paid by bank transfer for safety, they pressured us for cash and refused to bring the sofa inside the property.

Once we set it up ourselves, we discovered multiple issues:
• The back cushions were 150mm too small and nothing like the pictures.
• They were half-filled, with stuffing not even reaching the edges.
• The chaise had black zips fully exposed around the edges.
• None of the seat cushions were the same length.

We contacted the company immediately. They blamed the poor quality on a religious holiday and promised to return the following week with the correct cushions and the missing footstool. Despite constant chasing, we’ve received nothing.

We worked so hard to save for this sofa and are heartbroken. We’ve now sought legal advice and are taking the matter to small claims court. On further research, it seems the owners frequently start and dissolve companies — likely to avoid accountability.

Do not trust this company. They are scammers, and the quality is shocking. Stay far away.

Their service is ver poor. They brought a different colour of cushions from what we order. They promised to send the correct colour of cushions but they no longer respond to their chats. NEXT LEVEL SCAMMERS. They used Inferior materials, poor quality and poor service.
I would rate them a minus if I can. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Sofa delivered was completely different from what I ordered, they didn’t meet my specifications, they didn’t even included the rolly polly, pillows I paid for and lied they only forgot to add it and have posted it to my address.
They have stopped responding to calls and messages, they’ll lie to you that these reviews are coming from their competitors who don’t want them to do well.
Don’t patronise them, they are thieves.

They delivered my sofa without the cushions that were ordered. They have fobbed me off saying that they will be delivered soon and that was 3 months ago now. They also didn’t give me the sofa with the legs that had been agreed and the delivery guy told me I’d have to pay more for them to be installed on the sofa.

Do not buy from these people. They are scammers. If I could give minus stars I would. The sofas are not as they appear in the pictures, they’re uncomfortable, they smell of cigarette and came damaged! The after care from the people is next to none! We have been trying to contact them to resolve this and they keep ignoring us but posting all over social media.

Do not buy from these con artists producing poor quality sofas. After 1 week our sofa started to collapse, said they would resolve and have blanked my messages.
Quick enough to take your money buy aftersales is shocking.

I booked a Alan master U shape couch from them, I had different measurments, and also a rare fabric, surprisingly they delivered it in just 4 days. Quality is perfect. They met all the requirements. Really pleased with my purchase. ✌️

Do not ever buy from this place. They are absolutely disgraceful.

First off the delivery, they ended up delivering the couch at midnight nearly 2 weeks after the original agreed delivery date.

When the couch finally arrived it didn’t fit together properly and we’ve had it for not even a month and it’s already starting to fall apart. There’s massive gaps between the sections. 2 of the sections are starting to cave in and it’s the most uncomfortable couch you could ever imagine!

We tried messaging them and they are completely ignoring our messages.

Do not ever order from this place they are complete charlatans

Where do I start, ordered a big sofa, changed delivery day 3 times, they did Eventually deliver it at 10.30 at night, I was out so hubby took delivery, as soon as I saw it, I was in shock, no back cushions, wrong bottom cushions, and wrong size, I straight away got on to them, they Assured me it would all be sorted, since then they are Ignore my calls and message's, absolutely shocking company, the photos they use are definitely not what you get, it’s so poor quality and won’t last a year, so for £1400 it’s not worth the hassle, I will be contacting Action Fraud, and the police! I would Advise everyone to do the same!

AWFUL SCAMMERS AVOID!! Promised me delivery before 4pm then kept getting later and later didn’t turn up till 2am!!! The quality of the sofa is awful really hard to sit on and the material is cheap. Asked for a refund as I’m within 14 days of cancellation and I’ve been ignored. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I regret to share my experience with this company, which has been nothing short of frustrating. After waiting for several months, I received a sofa that looked completely different from what was advertised on their Instagram and Facebook pages. The quality was subpar, and it did not meet the expectations set by their promotional materials.

When I reached out to express my dissatisfaction, they assured me that they would rectify the situation by replacing the sofa. However, it has become clear that they are merely stalling and have stopped responding to my inquiries altogether. After speaking with other customers, I discovered that many have faced similar issues, indicating a pattern of unresponsiveness and poor customer service.

Additionally, some employees have informed me thar there are ongoing issues with salary payments within the company, raising further concerns about their business practices.

I also attempted to contact the owner, Dr. Usha Konero—a general practitioner based in the UK—by sending an official letter regarding these matters. Unfortunately, both he and the management team have chosen to ignore my correspondence.

Conclusion Avoid This Company

Based on my experience and feedback from others, I strongly advise against engaging with this company. It has been a waste of time and money.

My experience with Urban Comfort has been absolutely great. My order was perfect, exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. Would definitely recommend them to my friends and family

Finally Received my sofa…

I purchased a custom-made sofa from this online store, and while I appreciate the effort, I am disappointed with the quality of the seats. The frame however, looks good!
Seats do not match the reference picture I chose from the instagram page and there is a significant issue with the seat thickness — some are noticeably thicker than others, which is not only aesthetically displeasing but also affects comfort.

I have kindly requested that replacement seats would be made to align with the reference picture I chose from the page and that the replacements would be crafted with care and attention to detail, matching the quality I was expecting based on the reference.

I have politely reached out and shared photos showing the variations in thickness across the seats. I was informed that replacements would be arranged within a couple of days, but haven't received any further updates.

I have reached out once again to inquire about the timing, but I haven’t yet received a response either.

Messages have been read and ignored.

Wow, ordered on a Sunday evening, prompt responses to messages, recommendations provided with my requirements, we have dogs so wanted a durable but cozy fabric, delivered within 3 days, we are so happy with the sofa. We also requested additional items and have been supported with this promptly. We would highly recommended.

I ordered a sofa bed, paid my deposit and it got delivered within days. I was told to text the company direct if I had any issues. I noticed that my sofa came without the mattress for the bed. Also the cushions were smaller than the cushions in the pictures advertised. For this reason there were spaces in between them. I immediately informed the company and they promised to send 3 extra cushions and my mattress within 2 days. It took them 1 whole month to deliver my stuff to me. Communication was poor as they stopped replying my texts whenever I asked for my things. They are extremely unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The foam used for the sofa is of poor quality. The cushions are extremely hard. I regret buying from them.

No communication. The size of the couch was different to the cushions. The couch also stinks. Cheep nasty material. Absolute scam. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY OFF THESE PEOPLE
