Great service
I got two kits for my wife as a Christmas present and when we went to order the code for one of them the code was missing - probably due to my inability to keep pieces of paper that are important! I contacted them and they sorted the problem very quickly and cheerfully.
As for the mushrooms, one set are starting to grow, the others will be when I have drilled a log with the supplied drill bit. I'm sure they will be very tasty.

I ordered an Oyster Mushroom growing kit for my elderly father. Inside was a voucher to order the spores. Unfortunately he misplaced the voucher so the kit was useless. I messaged Urbn Farm and had a prompt reply from Haidee who agreed to send a replacement out to me. Great customer service that was efficient and friendly. I recommend this company if you want to support a small business with great values and a friendly approach.

A disappointing review I’m sorry to say
I was very excited to start growing my lionsmane mushrooms and everything went well. But my harvest looked more like cauliflowers when it grew so I left it longer to see if it changed to what it looked like in the pictures. It didn’t and then it turned yellow so could eat it.
Was disappointed.

Lion’s Mane can vary in shape, size, and colour depending on growing conditions, and it sometimes looks different from the pictures on the pack. Our team has offered guidance on harvesting and care to help get the best results in future grows.

Great customer service
I was given a Golden Oyster kit for Christmas. I followed instructions carefully but have had no sign of growth. I contacted customer service and have had fantastic support in resolving why the kit has failed and I've been offered a replacement kit. Thank you to Haidee for your help in resolving this matter. I'm looking forward to trying again 🙂

Their oyster mushroom pack is total rubbish - 2 months on having followed the instructions, nothing. Waste of money and time.

Lion’s Mane can sometimes develop a more coral-like appearance depending on airflow and growing conditions, which could be confused for coral fungus, however we want to clarify that we do not sell coral fungus — our Lion’s Mane kits contain Hericium erinaceus.

Took almost 2 months and a couple of enquiries to finally get a very soft fluffy mould after another email we changed tactical approach and the floppy soft mould went hard and very chewy tasteless hard chew a very expensive way to get four slices of inedible mushroom

Mushroom ghosting kit
I ordered a mushroom grow kit from Urban Farm It back in November and nothing ever arrived. I chased multiple times and was ignored each time. No update. No explanation. Just silence.
In the end I had to submit a chargeback through my bank to get my money back, which says everything about the experience. I paid for a product that never turned up and was effectively ghosted.
Really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them until they can actually deliver what they sell and respond to customers properly.

How Urban Farm Stole Christmas
Placed an order on 7th December, received a dispatch confirmation on the 11th of December, still had not received anything by the 22nd of December despite being sent tracking information. The tracking info advises that Royal Mail have not even received the parcel. When emailing on the 22nd, Urban Farm responded with "Our office is now closed for the Christmas period and we will be unable to respond to enquiries during this time.
If your issue is not resolved, please get back in touch after 5th January, when the office reopens, and we’ll be happy to assist you."
Unfortunately, this wasn't great help for the Christmas gifts I had ordered ! Hugely disappointed, not sure if the items will even arrive now.
