I am filing this complaint against UnMask.com because the company has repeatedly failed to resolve my request to remove my personal information from its website .
UnMaks.com is displaying personal information associated with me, including former name and previous address. Some of the information is inaccurate, including my date of birth. I am deeply concerned about the continued publication of this information and the potential risks to my personal privacy and security
I have contacted UnMask.com and requested that my information be removed. Instead of resolving my request, the company continues to respond that it cannot locate my records and asks me to provide additional identifying information. This has become an extremely frustrating and unacceptable process.
I have legitimate privacy and security concerns, particularly given my experience with exposed personal information and problems involving online accounts.

I did a search on myself and unmask.com said that a had a arrest for DUI Not true. I will find these people.

Garbage website. Your data is on their site and they don't respond quick enough when you request to delete data.

I regularly check the internet for my information, and somehow this 29 year old domain never had my information before, and now they do. I found both my information, and my spouses. On a publicly accessible web page they have published OUR ACTUAL BIRTHDATES!! Now, he and I both emailed them at the same time because, despite going through their little "suppression" tool, the results claimed that had no information on us. They had us put our birthdays in! And said there's no information. Yet I am looking at BOTH of our CORRECT, ACTUAL DATES OF BIRTH. Now, LOTS of places use your birthday as an identity verification, posting our birthdays is abhorrent behavior and should literally be illegal. BUT I'm super annoyed, because only my spouse received a reply to clarify his information. I am apparently being ghosted. Oh, and the best part is they have published my former/maiden name with, again, my real date of birth, which, again, they claimed was not in their system. I will be filing a complaint with both the FTC and the Attorney General.

these people are scammers they steal your information they also illegally buy your information from people who illegally obtain your information I asked them to remove me from their website and they asked me for more of my information I said I'm turning you in to the government I'm turning you into better Business bureau I'm putting reviews on trust pilot and I am sending this to the attorney general if you do not remove my information then they asked me for more information to be able to delete my information which made no sense to me whatsoever if you already have my information and it's under my email and I sent you an email you should be able to do that the fact that you stole information like they have my entire family's addresses phone numbers all kinds of information all over and they refused to delete it so I'm going to turn them into the government as well we'll go ahead and hand this off to a a few attorneys also they said that they had removed my information a month ago and then put it back on apparently I don't think it ever came down

Unmask has my ADDRESS on their website. When I tried to opt out, they want my birthdate. DO NOT give these predators ANY of your information. This website should be shut down for leading someone to your front door, possibly a predator. Giving them your birthdate is the gateway to Identity THEFT; the predator will have YOUR address by going to their site. When you logon to review your name take screenshots to prove what they are doing. This site should be called Bring a Predator to YOUR Door, FREE.

Way too much incorrect information. Gave them my email, date of birth & legal name to remove this. Then they say they can't "FIND IT" under my legal name, when I just saw it on their site! Why didn't they look at their OWN website, certainly in plan view there! NO stars!

Terrible business, data broker. Slimeball operation living off using private individuals information and making it public. Too slow to remove upon demand, and having to file multiple complaints with BBB and State of California. Rotten business.

These people are so wrong! Saying it’s 0.99 and when you you push the button it says other wise ! All I am asking is why ? Why is this a scam ? Why is the truth not told ! My Apple Pay was charged 35.13 like really I am so glad apple has restrictions!

They're breaking the law and are unethical. I requested opting out. I do NOT want my information on their site. I followed instructions to the letter, then after I did that, I tested it and searched my name. My personal information was and still is in their website. When I tried to opt-out again, they banned me. I tried a third time, and I received the same message that I am banned. I am banned for trying to opt-out. We have rights to privacy.

This site advertised to be FREE but WAS NOT!!! I tried to cancel but was SOO DIFFICULT to do!! I will continue to try and cancel this and if it continues to be difficult I WILL call authorities to insure its done!!!

Sooo... they advertise $1 and try to charge card for $29.99 AFTER advertising as a free site! So what are we considered to be by this company? Absolutely and unequivocally stupid 🙄

Finally a free people search company. I have used it multiple times and I am impressed with the company. I found some information that helped me find what I was talking about. Highly recommend it

It's very difficult to get your information removed from this site. I found a listing that has my phone number attached to my father's name. This site and many like it are the reason I get calls all day asking if my father is around. It's my cell phone, no one that has any legitimate business with him would call my phone. Trying to load his profile was unnecessarily drawn out. The fake "loading information" screens are supposed to make you believe there's some complicated process to finding a person. It's unnecessary and ALWAYS leads you to a payment screen. They take your information from elsewhere online and ask you to pay to access it. Don't ever trust a company like this with your money. You're getting nothing for it, I don't care if it's $100 or $1 you spend.

I was going to use your services to locate a long lost relative. After reading the comments from previous users, I decided to not use this service. I have a question!
When do you mean when you say the service is "free"?
Because by definition, it is not.
I was just about to push that button for the fee of $1.00, and then did just a little more investigating.
Too bad I can't search Unmask.com and see your hidden secrets. Thanks to all the users that posted their negative experiences with this site. May you all find closure!

They have been giving my number out for a property owner I DON'T KNOW... No phone number to ask for help and no one ever responds to emails. Might have to get authorities involved for this Terrible company

Their info. is incorrect and quite outdated.
