Loved it - really well done but will be honest the distances weren’t quite right, we did almost 12km for the 10k run 😱Yey us! 😍

Fantastic event
Fantastic event, however, the leap of faith is NOT included in the course and it also closed at 3pm, do for those who booked the 2.30 slot didnt get chance to go on it, which was very disappointing and left the kids upset, if it was included or stayed open till the end, then we would have given 5 stars

Hi Jo,
Thank you for your review and we're glad you enjoyed the event.
We're sorry to hear about the disappointment around the Leap of Faith.
We do state on our website and make multiple announcements throughout the day that the Leap of Faith is not included as part of the main obstacle event. As outlined in our event information:
"The Leap of Faith is not included as part of the main obstacle event. It is an additional obstacle that may be available on the day for an extra charge.
The Leap of Faith may not be available at every event, as its operation is dependent on weather conditions. We also reserve the right to suspend or cease operation of this activity at any time should weather conditions deteriorate or be deemed unsafe during the event."
We appreciate your feedback and will continue to make this information as clear as possible for all participants. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another event soon.
Best wishes,
Team UK Running Events
Very dull, very expensive, don't bother
Very dull, staff were disinterested amd clearly bored. Medals were cheap mdf wood, £120 for 2 adults and a child then asked for £5 to park. We were on the last booking and the staff were starting to dismantle things whilst we were still there. Really, really overpriced for what it was. Waste of a few hrs seems like a cash grab more than a real event.

Hi Mark,
We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way and that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We’d really appreciate the opportunity to look into this further. Could you please email our team at bookings@ukrunningevents.co.uk with details of which event you attended? We’d like to investigate your comments regarding the staff experience, as our team are always encouraged to be upbeat, welcoming, and positive throughout our events.
Regarding the medals, we’re sorry to hear they weren’t to your personal preference. We’re really proud of the medals we provide and love the designs we’ve created for our participants. This is not feedback we’ve received before, but we’re always happy to review comments and take feedback on board.
Parking, this is communicated in the pre-event information sent to participants and is also clearly stated on our website within the event information and FAQs, so we aim to make all additional costs clear before the day.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we hope to hear from you so we can look into this further.
Best wishes,

Absolute blast will come again
We got a family ticket for the Cardiff Inflatable 5K, and what a fantastic event! The atmosphere was amazing from start to finish, with great music at each station that really added to the experience.
There were plenty of different obstacles, which sparked a bit of friendly competition between us and made it even more fun. We also signed up for the Leap of Faith—don’t let it fool you, it’s actually much higher than you expect! It was an incredible adrenaline rush and definitely worth doing.
We had an absolute blast and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Took part in Harewood House 22k Trail…
Took part in Harewood House 22k Trail WALK on Sunday 21st June. There was also other distance walks and trail runs taking place. Beautiful setting, great free parking, lots of portaloos, coffee van, breakfast van, cake van, merch stall, flags, good communication, clear instructions, superb marshalling …. HOWEVER…. The runners set off after the walkers and overtook us on route so inevitably finished ahead of us. We were told quite clearly that the event would close/finish at 2pm. We finished at approx 1230 to a field of near enough nothing!! No flags, no coffee shack open, a single person (staff member) clapping on the finish line with our medals, no merch stand, no hot food stall and the portaloos were half loaded onto the owners lorry with others ready to be loaded, emptied of loo roll. In addition to this, for the last approx 6-7k another member of staff tailed us on his bike collecting up the very well signposted arrows marking the route. Despite him not actually indicating that we were the last to finish, we did feel an element of pressure to keep moving at a significant pace so that he could collect his signage and close up the event. This was then clearly evident that the organisers all wanted to do this as we approached the finish to the near empty field with people all packing up; and to be honest we weren’t slow, we didn’t stop on route or dilly dally. We were pretty gutted to say the least! Having taken part in many events over the past 35 years I’ve come to realise that the last person to cross the finish line is as important as the first person to cross the line. Finishing this event in this way did not make us feel like this at all, we felt like we had held everyone up from packing the event up even though we were an hour & a half earlier than the time we were told that the event would close; it quite clearly had closed before we finished. No hot drinks available, just about managed to get in a portaloo before it was loaded onto the lorry and no merch to purchase. Someone did give us a bag of leftover cakes that the coffee van obviously need to get rid of…. Overall a well organised event but a very poor end… I pity anyone who walks slower than us as there would probably be no one left at all!!
If you say the event closes at 2, close it at 2, not 12!!

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful setting, facilities, communication, and the organisation of the event overall.
We’re sorry to hear that the finish experience was disappointing for you. We do allow walkers to set off earlier to give everyone plenty of time to complete their chosen distance, with the runners starting 30 minutes later to help create a safe and enjoyable gap between participants.
Our back cyclists are there for the safety and protection of all participants. Their role is to ensure they don’t lose sight of the final walkers and runners on the course, and while we understand how this may have felt from your perspective, we can assure you they never intend to make anyone feel rushed or pressured.
We’re sorry that the event village had been packed away when you finished, and we will raise this with the team to review. The cookies you received were intended as a well done gesture from our team to celebrate your achievement, rather than to clear leftover stock, and we’re pleased they were able to give you something extra to mark your finish.
We will also speak with our coffee supplier regarding their departure time, as we appreciate the importance of having these facilities available for participants completing their challenge. During the start briefing, it was communicated that walkers should aim to be back by 13:30, and we’re pleased to see that you completed your walk well within this timeframe.
Thank you again for your feedback. We’ll take your comments on board as we continue to improve the experience for all participants.
Best wishes,

Harewood House Fun Run
We recently ran the Harewood house, Leeds inflatable fun run and it was fantastic!
Were a small coaching company in the area and 45 of our parents, coaches and kids took it on to race money for MacMillan.
The organisers were so helpful in ensuring that everyone could run and there was no issues with ticketing.
Thank so much guys and we’ll definitely be back next year

Pre-run information not acceptable.
Pre-run information not acceptable.
Booked in for 10am run with information saying it’s £5 for car parking.
Turn up to find you cannot park on-site and have to drive far away to park. Not acceptable when you have young children. Appalling communication.
The cost for children to run needs to be reviewed, it is ridiculously high. Surely we want to promote the youth to run???
On completion of the run i find I have an email at 10.33 to say parking on-site isn’t allowed. Surely you knew that days/weeks ago?????

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your review.
We would like to sincerely apologise for the issue with the pre-event information that was sent prior to the event. Unfortunately, an incorrect communication was issued regarding parking arrangements, and we completely understand the frustration this caused, particularly for those attending with young children.
While the email communication contained an error, the parking information published in our pre-event communications on the event website did show the correct parking arrangements. As soon as we became aware of the issue, we contacted participants on the day to advise them of the situation rather than leaving attendees unaware. We appreciate that, in your case, this notification was received after you had already arrived, and we understand why this was disappointing.
As this was our mistake, our team also tried to be as flexible and accommodating as possible on the day to support affected participants.
With regard to pricing, all event entry fees are clearly displayed at the time of booking, allowing participants to make an informed decision before attending. However, we do appreciate your comments and will ensure your feedback is shared with the relevant team for future consideration.
We are sorry that your experience did not meet expectations and thank you for taking the time to bring these concerns to our attention.
Best wishes,
Team UK Running Events.

Highly recommend doing this event
Staff were super friendly and helpful on the day. A lot of work goes into the setting up and safety of the event and staff clearly enjoy the job they do. Our kids (5 and 7) absolutely loved it. Smiles on their faces throughout. Great family morning or afternoon out with lots of things to do outside of running in the event including ice cream vans, coffee vans, food outlets and lots of space for a picnic if you prefer. Highly recommended.

Hi Matt,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review.
We’re really pleased to hear you and your family had such a great time, and especially that your children enjoyed it so much, that’s exactly what we aim for. It’s also great to hear the staff came across as friendly and helpful; a lot of work goes into the setup, safety, and running of the event, so your comments mean a lot to the team.
We’re glad you were able to enjoy everything on offer across the day as well, from the food and drinks to the space to relax.
Thanks again for your recommendation, and we hope to see you at another event soon.
Best wishes,
