I would give it minus ten stars if it were possible. In recent months Yahoo email has almost stopped it is so slow and it slows my PC down as well when I am on my emails. It used to be a really good system but now it is annoying, frustrating and frankly not worth using anymore so I cannot recommend it I'm afraid. Avoid it like the plague

Currently experiencing trouble with my yahoo email account and I can’t get to speak with anyone except a bot outside of 9-5 😡 unacceptable from a company like this !

l had 2 yahoo.com they blocked me from receiving any emails, so l deleted 4000 emails from both of them!
because Yahoo.com want a pensioner to buy more space they blocked me, l haven't been able to recover or receive any emails

Can’t recover my most important email after someone changed the password. Year ago I recovered my second yahoo email without any problems all I had to do was pay for premium subscription. But now they even don’t connect me to customer service

I've been with Yahoo Mail for over 25 years! It was good but now I'm seriously annoyed with it. They suddenly cut the storage limit from 20gb to 15gb and now I can't send or receive emails!!!
Now they want money for the storage I already had. I understand they are following other email limits but the way they done things showed they didn't care about their existing loyal customer based. They should have given more time to delete 5GB of data.
The worst is their is no way to talk to them!

I've had Yahoo email for over 2 decades. Recently Yahoo Email makes me login every session, will not allow me to put in my password, will not let me access the password recovery - basically the service has gone to trash. I am going to have to find another email service because their lack of service is horrible. No contact help number. No techs. Usual AI Bot garbage that linked me over to COMCAST for some reason. Avoid Yahoo Email as as provider. Terrible service.

Account for 26 years- suddenly, overnight can't logon, recovery e-mail, recovery phone number all good. Nah! follow Kafkaesque bot instructions-including the gem.."log into your account and reset your password".....How can Jim Lanzone keep a straight face when collecting his multi-million salary and bonuses for presiding over this utter S***show. Dominate a market and persistently mismanage every sector, destroying value as you go. ......what a shame, an example of total arrogance and absolute disdain for your customers.

This new mail is a joke it doesn’t move spam into the folder when found in mail or trash both register 0 and contained a lot of mails.
It is very confusing and had far too many large adverts.
Over all very poor.

Normally my yahoo email account is very reliable. However on one occasion recently, I was unable to log in from another person's laptop, hundreds of mile away. The yahoo help pages were too complicated for me because I had limited time to sort through them, so I had to abandon what I wanted to do. When I got home I found I was signed out on my home computer, so I do not understand what, if anything, I did wrong.

In February I suddenly found I'm not able to log into Yahoo email on my laptop. Oops something went wrong. Suggested logging in from another device. Tried various ways including from my mobile that Ive used successfully in the past, indeed have the icon ready for logging in. The box came up with my email, just needed the password. Invalid! Ive not changed it so it was correct. So tried forgotten password code to be sent to my linked mobile. Several times. No text arrived. So what can I do? In case Ive been locked out due to trying wrong password Ive left it for a few days then tried again. Still no luck. Ive used Yahoo forever. Everything is linked to the Yahoo email account. Tried the online help line several times but it takes me to a chinese yahoo webpage. Ive since spent countless frustrating and stressful hours on different days trying to resolve this but to no avail. Looking at the many 1 star reviews on here I am not hopeful of ever sorting this out or the problems it has caused....

Yahoo have been systematically implementing a programme of enshittification. What do I mean? Well, once upon a happier time it used to work smoothly. Now it's busy serving up annoying ads. Ads designed to distract and annoy. The response times are just dismal. Latency one can time in whole seconds. Worse even than the days of a 33k dial-up modem. The 'new' Yahoo is even worse. Forget customer "service", it's been handed over to Artificial Imbecility.

Just moved to the app, worst thing I've ever done. Keeps telling me I have a bug but not how to deal with it. Worst app I've ever had to use.

After using Yahoo Mail for a number of years and logging in with my password the platform decided suddenly that I needed 2 stage verification. That might have been ok but the recovery email I had was from a provider who discontinued their service a few years ago. Strangely I managed on one try to actually sign in with just the password and went immediately to update contact details which infuriatingly it wouldn't let me do??
Finding a customer service number I spoke to a strange man who told me was in Romania - I worried that he might have overdosed on tranquillisers so long were the silent pauses and then worried, due to the weirdness, that somehow I'd been hacked and was talking to a scammer.
The upshot was there was nothing to be done even though my password is the same and they could tell I had logged in the previous day with that very password. He agreed to get his superior to call me which clearly by now isn't going to happen.
Astonishingly they record these calls for training! surely the only thing one could learn about this "service" is that they are having a massive laugh. Have nothing to with these clowns - plenty of decent providers out there!!

For several days I cannot enter my Password to get onto Yahoo Mail, using my Acer Chromebook at home. It simply says 'Unable to load this page'. I have tried 'Help' but that simply 'hangs my device'. I did manage to access on a terminal at my local l Library. Seems others share this problem Maybe I have too much stored?

Stay away from Yahoo Mail.
If you ever get locked out of your account, they will ask you an unreasonable number of questions and when they're already 100% sure that you are indeed the account owner, then they'll ask you to scan your passport - just to tell you that their AI has failed to recognise you and there's nothing else that anyone can do to recover it.
You can kiss goodbye to the email address you've been using for decades.
