GetScanned is a booking platform for private medical scans in the UK. We arrange MRI, Full-Body MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray scans at over 200 CQC-registered scanning centres, with appointments usually available within a few days. Private scans need a referral, and most people don't have one. That's the part we handle. Every booking includes a GP consultation, where a doctor reviews your symptoms, confirms which scan is right for you, and issues the referral the scanning centre needs. If you already have a referral from your own GP or a consultant, you can use that instead. Our team coordinates the rest. We confirm your appointment with the centre, explain how to prepare and what to bring, and stay contactable throughout. Your images are read and reported by a consultant radiologist, and your report is typically returned within 3 working days. If you'd like to talk your results through with a doctor afterwards, we can arrange a follow-up GP consultation. One price covers your consultation, referral, scan and report, with nothing added afterwards. Prices vary by scan type, body part and location, and are shown before you book alongside appointment availability. If you find the same scan cheaper at the same clinic, advertised publicly, we'll match the lower price. Scans available through our network cover areas including the head and brain, spine, knees, shoulders, hips, abdomen and pelvis. We work with individual patients, clinicians, medical reporting organisations and rehabilitation providers - anyone who needs diagnostic imaging arranged quickly and without a wait. Process was very efficient
All worked as it should having received a scan appointment very quickly. Report was delivered to my physio within 2 working days which means at my next physio appointment we can discuss the content. Very efficient.

Great experience with GetScanned
Great experience with GetScanned. Originally I booked and paid for a full body MRI which initiated a video gp call. During this call the gp was very thorough and recommended that based on my symptoms a CT scan would be more beneficial for me and arranged a referral immediately. Arjun at GetScanned kept me well informed with locations and arranging the alterations due to price difference (only issue was location availability of the CT was not as widely available as the MRI - MRI was an hour travel but closest CT was 3hours travel).
Managed to arrange to CT scan within 1 week and have received the results and report within 4days (which includes the weekend), so very fast service.

The whole process from start to finish…
The whole process from start to finish was very smooth.
The two ladies who conducted the scan were both extremely helpful and polite.
I was sent my results within a couple of days and also received a follow up call to see if I was happy with the whole process, which I was.

Very efficient and professional service
I requested a next day MRI scan as I couldn't get a diagnosis but was in pain needed to know what the issue was.
I was called back virtually immediately, had the process explained. The doctor then called me directly confirmed my symptoms and requirements and referred me for a MRI.
I was then contacted and offered a choice of 2 appointments for the following day.
Once accepted it was immediately confirmed. On the day the whole process was professionally and efficiently undertaken, excellent communication throughout and the hospital was spotless.
The results were provided in 48 hours as promised and were very comprehensive and I am now discussing with my GP.
This efficient service has provided me with piece of mind and a quick way forward.
I would not hesitate in using these again in future and would happily recommend them

Next Day MRI Scan
Very fast (next day) response to our request for a MRI scan. Staff were very helpful and the detailed report with scan images were available within two working days.
We were in limbo, awaiting triage for an NHS MRI scan with no helpful indication of when this might occur - "we are very busy at the moment" being the only feedback. We didn't know whether it would days, weeks or months before we would hear and web searches indicating 6 to 18 weeks. Stuff that! Contacted GetScanned and we were processed within 24 hours (and the scanner unit was only seven miles from home, so all very convenient).
