Two Spoons, Five Stars
I tried the Earl Grey and the lapsang souchong. A progression happened!
Opening the Earl Grey, I didn’t get the strong and distinctive aroma I like to savour. Undaunted, though, I brewed it and sipped a very clean and subtle flavour with an initial lemony kick. Adding milk, it came alive. Full on malty flavour from the Ceylon black tea base and a beautiful, sweet butterscotch aftertaste – a pleasant surprise!
The lapsang, again, was quite subtle without milk, with a modest smokiness. Adding milk activated further flavour that balanced out nicely. Great choice for lovers of a smoky tea, without the tarry and overpowering element to other lapsangs.
A note on everything else: The packaging is striking and fun, their website is a joy to visit, and their service and staff (Giles and Mark) are very passionate, knowledgeable and kind.
Can’t wait to try more!

Two Spoons Tea is the best tea I've ever tasted. You are certainly paying for quality. I now purchase breakfast tea pillows and herbal tea (lemongrass and ginger is delicious) fairly regularly because of the taste.
