Turner & George Omdömen 

Ordered online a few time’s during lockdown and didn’t receive full order but was still charged the full amount. Emailed them several times with no response, called them, no one picked up. Good experience in store but stay away from delivery unless you want to lose money. Disappointing never to get refunded for meat that was never delivered.

T&G NO MORE!!

If you want to order a week plus in advance only to be told at 9pm the night before the delivery will not be coming or you are happy to receive half the order 3 times in a row, then I can recommend T&G!

Unfortunately this butcher is now a classic example of a greedy business, resulting in poor customer service!

I have used T&G for over 10 years, recommended them to friends/family who have also recently had very disappointing experiences, so it is such a shame.... but enough is enough!

There are many decent local butcher’s out there! So like myself and my circle that have previously used T&G, please find another butcher, possibly a local one that needs support (especially at the moment) and who will always remain gratefully for your custom unlike T&G!

Ordered a 1kg porterhouse steak which was delivered on time and well packed. Cooked it on the big green egg and it was simply fantastic. It is great to find a really good butcher who can be trusted to deliver true quality. Thank you.

Enjoyed our first T&G pork rack. Well prepared and great quality produce. Excellent fat layer and wonderful crackling. Our first purchase but not the last.

Excellent quality meat and great delivery service.

I was recommended T&G from a BBQ group after been let down by another online butcher. I ordered 2kg & 1kg Breast rib racks and 2 x 2 baby back ribs with some chicken legs. The Breast ribs were a joke, they contained about a third of rib and the rest belly and gristle, not cheap at £33 for both of these and so I complained as I wanted to BBQ racks of ribs St. Louis style just like their advertised picture, they refunded the cost of these ribs very quick.

Yesterday I opened the baby back ribs, boy the smell… Jebus it was eggy, I washed the ribs and they seemed better but after cooking for hours we realised these were off. The worst was the chicken, a very eggy smell from them, I marinated them for a few hours but the smell… I know I have been refunded the £33 for the main ribs but the whole £50 order has been shocking.

I wouldn’t recommend them.

I ordered 3 times for Turner and George, incredible high quality, very well packed. The delivery the first 2 times was good. The third time unfortunaly, the delivery was not made, and from what we have gathered the driver from DPD delivered the packet on the wrong address, on the recipe it was listed that it was delivered to us, then it was changed to Concierge, when we then called them and informed that was impossible, since the our Concierge close earlier than the time stated by their driver, they just informed us, that it was delivered to an Eastern European man(!) I then contacted Turner and George, and they instantly issued a credit note ad refund for our order. Is exactly this kind of safe and good service, which want me to keep using them. And as mentioned the quality is outstanding. You can use this company with absolutely peace of mind.

Excellent quality product, and the ordering process was simple to follow. Deliver came at the time specified. Nothing to fault at all.

Been buying my meat from Turner and George for several years now and I've never been disappointed. Everything is of the highest quality - deliveries arrive in excellent condition, cuts are very well prepared and the cooked results are excellent. Supermarket bought meat and poultry just doesn't come anywhere close.
