We were here in June with our 3 children (including a 1 year old). We paid to upgrade to a superior family suite in block 9. Our AC didn't work and despite reporting it multiple times, we were left with a fan, which just blew hot, humid air around. We had no sleep the whole holiday due to it being so uncomfortable. It was 40c+!! Both TV'S didn't work.
No kettle in our room so had to go downstairs for a cup of tea in the morning which isn't great when you have a small toddler that wakes up early.
The dividing door was broken so we couldn't have the privacy we wanted from the older kids.
We had to carry our 1 year old with the pram and bags up a flight of stairs because there were no lifts! If I was on my own, I would have really struggled!
We were less than impressed with the food. Breakfast and lunch was bearable but ended up eating out on an evening as the food was simply basic. The fresh fruit juices were literally watered down 🍊 💧
The availability for the A La Carte restaurants was very limited despite booking within hours of arrival. We dined in the Tapas restaurant, I ordered Garlic Chicken Breast - I can only describe it as grey curled Pigeon meat! It literally turned my stomach and I couldn't eat it. Both our sons ordered the meatballs, they were served 2 small meatballs!! We all enjoyed the appetisers but sadly we all ended up with upset stomachs the day after.
The sunbeds around the pool were cracked and uncomfortable. My husband and 1 year old had to have antibiotics for a ear infection due to the pool water.
The evening entertainment wasn't great, nothing at all for adults.
The only positive thing I can say is the hotel itself was pretty modern and very clean. And the hotel staff were great with the kids.
We paid a lot of money for this holiday, we will certainly not be returning. Very dissapointing.
