Excellent product and excellent…

Excellent product and excellent customer service and I will definitely order from them again. Looks great and the material is amazing. They seem to run a size small but besides that excellent all around. I exchanged for the next size up and customer service was great in helping me out.

I purchased a total of four swimsuits…

I purchased a total of four swimsuits from Tucan. Overall, they are very comfortable and initially appeared to be good quality.

However, one swimsuit, purchased a little over 18 months ago and worn only about 10 times, had the waist elastic completely lose its elasticity.
The other three swimsuits have no issues, which leads me to believe this one has a manufacturing defect.

For a swimsuit at this price point — which is quite expensive — this is unacceptable. If it had been a low-priced swimsuit, I could understand, but that is not the case here.

I contacted customer service, which refused to replace the swimsuit. This is the most disappointing part. A company that promotes the quality of its products should take responsibility when an obvious issue arises.

I understand that manufacturing defects can happen, but the real issue is the company’s refusal to acknowledge the problem and resolve it.
As a result, I am very disappointed with Tucan and do not recommend the company, especially considering the high price of its products.

So far terrible

So far terrible. And from reading reviews here looks like I've been scammed. I'm trying to do a return, you have to take a picture, never had to do that before. No number to call. Sent email to whatever their customer support is. Got a response once I submitted pics and etc that it would be 3 working days for them to decide if they'll do a return. Seriously? They advertise free returns, its why I made the purchase and now this. Today, is Tuesday Jan 27,2026, if I don't get confirmation for a return by this Friday I'm contacting my credit card company to report the charge as fraud since they won't honor the return they advertised they would.

Find elsewhere for swimwear

Oh boy - please don't bother with these guys. Their products are crazy undersized if you have any kind of thigh muscle. Their online portal for returns doesn't work. I have been back and forth with support for over a week just trying to exchange an xmas gift for a larger size. Once I get someone to reply, I send a response and they throw me back into the automated queue. NIGHTMARE customer service.

To clarify and provide transparency for anyone reading: your return request was first raised on December 28, and we promptly supplied our return portal link the same day. At that time, the request wasn’t completed through the portal as required, as the necessary photos weren’t uploaded.

To ensure you weren’t delayed, our support team manually stepped in to assist and continued working with you via email. Once the required photos were later sent directly, a return label was issued and sent to your email, allowing the exchange to proceed.

We take customer service seriously and regret that the process felt drawn out. Our return system exists to make exchanges faster and more efficient, but when issues arise, we do our best to support customers individually — as we did here.

If you need any further assistance, our team is happy to help and ensure this is fully resolved.

Beware before you decide to order!

Beware before you decide to order!

This is not a company I will do business with again. My order was well over $100 and they charged me $16.57 for shipping when their site clearly states free shipping over $100. They also overcharged my tax.

I've tried to have them make this right however it's been over 45 days and they keep puttng me off. They don't care about ethical business practices nor customer satisfaction.

You’re absolutely right that orders over $100 qualify for free shipping. In this case, shipping was mistakenly charged, and we’ve now refunded the full $16.57 shipping cost back to your original payment method.

Just to clarify for transparency, the tax charged on your order was calculated correctly based on Wisconsin state, county, and city tax requirements (shipping is taxable in Wisconsin). That said, the shipping charge itself should not have applied here, and that’s on us.

Took a over a week to get posted…

Took a over a week to get posted despite paying for express postage. Still havent received 2 weeks later or even in the country. Given they are charging 160aud per short this is unbelievable.

Very poor design for swimming shorts

Very poor design for swimming shorts. Fine for walking around in but as soon as you dive in they literally fall off because you can’t fully secure them around your waist. Contacted Tucann and they really were not interested.

Only one fault

I'm onto my 4th pair of swim shorts in 3 years. The shorts haven't worn out and I swim in them every day. They're like brand new and still fit well. However, the elasticity in the waste band breaks down, making them unwearable.
As much as I like them, unfortunately, I wont be buying any more until Tucan can improve the waste band and draw string.

Read the fine print

Horrible time wasting return process only to be charged $7.93 for FedEx plus a $10 restocking fee which is not very clear upon purchase. It’s definitely there in the small writing so Barbie beware their products good service OK return process a nickel and dime experience and an absolute nightmare

Not worth it

For an expensive pair of shorts the zipper broke on them almost immediately. Upon contacting customer support (which was laughable) and having numerous email exchanges they reluctantly offered my a $20 credit for me to go and find someone to supply and install a new zipper for me. Their customer service was unprofessional and I would expect alot more from a company billing themselves as a premium product. Would not recommend.

I purchased 3 pairs of shorts

I purchased 3 pairs of shorts. 2 of the 3 shorts came with vents in the back so the shorts dont balloon up when getting in the water. One pair didnt have this feature and was extremly uncomfortable to get in and out of water. You need to press all the air out each time you get in. I asked if there was a defect and wanted to just exchange this new pair with ones like the other. I was told that this was there older model and it is what it is. I asked to exchage them with a different pair that has the vents in the back. I was then told that they will not because the tag was removed. This is all within 1 week of delivery. The customer service took aver 45 days to come to there choice of not just exchanging them after 5 emails pictures of the shorts ect. Hope that they dont mess up your order as you can see from many other customers that ther customer service is beyond poor.

Love their bathing suit BUT …

Love their bathing suits customer service needs help. Email them numerous times now about information on exchanging a men’s bathing suit for a large because they sent me a small and have not had any response back after numerous emails although I love their bathing suits I will not be dealing with this company anymore.

Really happy about the product

Really happy about the product. Good quality and looks really good on! Size chart was right.

I'we been wearing them almost week now on holiday and wash them in washingmashine few times and colous and fabrikc still in perfect condition. Won't be last tucanns

Refund policy

After 20 emails back and forth, they have finally decided to refund me but are waiting on that decision, we are into day 10 now, been emailing them everyday and same lame response, they are awaiting the final decision, well what's so hard, shorts never arrived and they've tried everyway to wriggle out and stall me thinking I'll just go away, what a rotten company. Don't buy from these scammers save your money
