Per il poco che ho usato i corsi sono veramente ben fatti. Ho avuto un problema lato iscrizione che mi hanno risolto subito e con tempestività. Solo questo vale le 5 stelle
From zero to ranked 2776 – TryHackMe launched my career.
When I started my cybersecurity journey less than a year ago, I had no practical skills – just curiosity. TryHackMe gave me the structure, hands‑on labs, and community support I needed to build real competence. Within months, I climbed to rank 2776 out of over 7 million registered users. The platform’s carefully crafted rooms, clear walkthroughs, and gamified progression turned abstract concepts into muscle memory.
Now I’m launching my own cybersecurity consultancy and investigation firm – something that would have been unthinkable without the foundation TryHackMe provided. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced professional looking to sharpen your skills, this platform delivers. Thank you for creating a space where anyone can learn, practice, and grow.

TryHackMe is an online cybersecurity…
TryHackMe is an online cybersecurity learning platform designed to teach ethical hacking and security skills through hands-on practice. Instead of just reading theory, users actively interact with virtual machines and simulated environments, making learning feel more like playing a strategy game than studying.
I have had THM for about 2.5 months now…
I have had THM for about 2.5 months now and absolutely love the information and experience it provides. I would recommend this if you wish to learn on your own time. They have been experiencing bugs though and I have been having trouble on & off starting virtual machines. This stops your progress, you cannot move forward. I have lost many hours trying to troubleshoot this issue as the "start machine" button doesn't appear on the page. After experiencing this issue a few times I decided to reach out to THM. This is where my experience went sour... They said they are aware of the bug and are working on it. GREAT! I said. I purchased the yearly subscription and asked if they could give me an extension on that year for all of the time lost due to issues on their end, not to mention the nuisance of paying for something you can't use. They promptly said NO and that this issue was a one time occurrence, even though I had informed them I had been experiencing it on/off for weeks... They firmly denied my negative experience. I carried my laptop around on a trip hoping to get some time in and could not. I would recommend paying monthly so you can cancel if this happens to you. I have no way of knowing if this will happen all year as they seem pretty inconsiderate of their customer's time and experience with their product. I'm sure there are alternatives which I will switch to as I am a loyal customer when a company values their customers, I am not one to support such crude business practice. I am feeling a little scammed. TLDR: Great info and platform, sometime bugs gatekeep your progress and customer service/satisfaction is awful.
Really good explinations
Really good explinations, amazing help on the discord sever anyone is willing to help great community!
Its is also what allowed me to get my current job excellent and you learn a lot quickly!

Stole my money ( DO NOT Give your credit card information) they will drain you dry! Customer service refused to help said that when I accepted the terms I agreed them access to my account.
As someone who values technical…
As someone who values technical precision and logical consistency, I find TryHackMe’s theoretical content deeply frustrating and technically inaccurate. The platform excels at providing accessible virtual machines, but the "educational" text is riddled with oversimplifications and categorical errors. For instance, it attempts to distinguish between a "Virus," a "Trojan," and "Ransomware" as if they were mutually exclusive entities, failing to explain that they are often just different attributes (delivery method vs. payload) of the same executable code. Dude... Defining "software" as including "documents and files" is a fundamental technical inaccuracy that undermines the credibility of the entire module. If you have a background in computer science or a brain that requires absolute logical rigor, you will spend more time debugging their poor explanations than actually learning. It priorities rote memorization of commands over the underlying computer architecture. While it is a great "entry-level" playground for casual users, it is a poor academic resource for those seeking intellectual honesty and deep technical accuracy.
Generally it's good
Generally it's good. But the room difficulty or the time required are rarely realistic. Indicated 50 min may take 36 hours if done thoroughly. Easy can be insane difficult and difficult can be easy. A bit careless and thoughtless on room developers behalf.
Great for beginners!
TryHackMe is a very helpful cybersecurity learning platform, specially if you are just starting out. The content is well structured and most of the challenges are gamified. After a year I can tell the content is regularly updated. Their updates on the SOC L1 path are deeply appreciated, as the content is now geared towards real SOC environments.
Buggy
The site is very buggy. Sometimes my progress just partially disappears. And now for instance im working in a terminal and all of a sudden i get kicked out and the site says i need to log back in but i see my username literally at the top of the screen stating that i am logged in already..........
The page doesn't work and they don't respond in support
The page doesn't work, I paid the monthly payment and it's a total scam because every time I try to enter the laboratory it throws me an error, and the page suggests that I send it to support, I did that several times and never got a response of any kind, I don't know who else to write to anymore
Great platform but bad renewal practices
Great platform, but the subscription is automatically renewed without any reminder.
I don't use Try Hack Me for some time now. But I was notified that I had to pay for next year again. I immediately stopped the renewal, but I still have to pay for something I don't use.
As a French consumer, I benefit from the protection of France's laws, even when buying from a foreign company.
Loi Chatel (Article L215-1, L215-4, and L241-3 of the Consumer Code), which specifically governs the automatic renewal of contracts for services provided to individuals states:
The Obligation: Service providers must notify you in writing (or via email) about the upcoming renewal date and your right to terminate the contract. This notification must be sent no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the deadline to refuse the renewal.
Try Hack Me failed to do so.
Auto-renewed without notice & no response from support since 30 November 2025.
My yearly subscription was auto-renewed on 30 November without any proper notice. I cancelled the subscription immediately, and contact TryHackMe to issue a refund.
The most disappointing part is that TryHackMe has completely stopped responding to my support emails since 30 November. I have contacted them multiple times, but there has been no reply at all.
This experience feels highly unprofessional. I hope TryHackMe resolves this issue and improves their customer support urgently.

Great Service
Great Service !
This is by far the best site to learn Hacking and Cyber Security.
Predatory Cancellation Practices
When first learning cybersecurity, this was a great tool that I spent hundreds on to help support the site.
However, I've noticed a severe decrease in care this year. They are focused in adding/modifying features that are more aligned with brand awareness and shareholder visibility (e.g. Adding AI, changing how answers are input), instead of fixing the issues facing the site (e.g. VMs spinning down randomly).
Previously, THM were four to five stars, then they went down to three, but while cancelling they showed blatant predatory cancel practices.
Would I still use the site if I was starting? Yes.
Would I pay for premium? No.
No customer support
Paid for a year’s premium and my account was locked out before I could even get started. Password reset and magic link don’t work, and despite several attempts to contact support, I’ve had no response at all. The customer service is non-existent. I’ve now had to raise a case with PayPal because I’ve received nothing for my payment and still can’t access my account. Don’t waste your time
TryHackMe Review
TryHackMe Review – The Best Place to Learn Cybersecurity Hands-On
TryHackMe is an outstanding platform for anyone interested in learning cybersecurity, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced professional looking to sharpen your skills. What sets it apart is its interactive, hands-on approach — you’re not just reading theory, you’re actually hacking into simulated systems in safe, guided environments.
The platform offers structured learning paths (like Pre Security, CompTIA Security+, Jr Penetration Tester, and Red Teaming) that make it easy to follow a clear progression. Each module combines theory, practical exercises, and real-world scenarios, helping you understand how attacks work and how to defend against them.
I especially appreciate the browser-based virtual machines, which make it simple to start hacking without any complex setup. The community support is excellent too — the forums and Discord server are full of helpful people always willing to share knowledge.
Overall, TryHackMe makes cybersecurity accessible, engaging, and genuinely fun. It’s a perfect choice for anyone looking to build practical skills and confidence in ethical hacking and information security.
