On May 23 I wrote the review below, I received a response from Danny,
he had activated my QR code again and found it annoying to read my misunderstanding.
Danny wrote to me that they are currently developing the program that they will offer QR codes completely free of charge!
That's a nice development, it means I can still use my business cards and I don't have to have everything reprinted.

Danny, thank you again for your messages and the solution you made for me!

The site does not immediately indicate that it is a trial version of a QR code.
I find this very misleading!

In step 4 it is even written: "4
/ To download
Once you are happy with the result, download the QR code and start sharing it on your content, online and offline"

While it doesn't say anywhere that this is a 14-day trial version!

Only somewhere at the bottom of the page under frequently asked questions is the question "is making a QR code free"?

Why not clearly indicate at the top, when creating the QR code, a clearly visible line "this is a 14 day trial version"!

Unfortunately for me, I shared the QR code on cards to be distributed that can now be thrown in the trash.

I think the option of paying to keep the QR code is too much: €7.95 per month and then immediately paying for a year if it is a starting hobby. (23-5-2024)

Nadat mijn door misverstand van mijn kant verlopen bleek. Ik had flyers en banners met qr voor mijn evenement al gedrukt. Heb ik het support team een mail gestuurd. Daarop werd snel gereageerd en ben ik top geholpen.

Ik heb met trueqrcode enkel maar goede ervaringen! de site werkt heel gemakkelijk. plak de link en hup je kan reeds een qr code downloaden. Deze kan je gemakkelijk gebruiken voor evenementen, inschrijven enz.. zoals dit bij ons het geval was. Ook het contact met de klantendienst was op en top. Toen ik enkele vragen had, kreeg ik de volgende werkdag reeds duidlijke feedback en een antwoord op mijn vragen. Nood aan een qr code, dan raad ik zeker trueqrcode aan!

To get a qr code was very easy. Also I had some other questions and I got an answer very soon after my request.

we hebben voor het eerst met een QR code gewerkt en zijn uitermate tevreden met het resultaat. Het werd ons door de customer support duidelijk uitgelegd zodat we onze code zelfs konden personaliseren met een kleurtje en upgraden met ons eigen logo. Hierdoor hebben we onze deelname aan een wedstrijd een enorme boost kunnen geven. Het is veel effectiever gebleken om met een QR code te werken dan een link door te geven naar een bepaalde site.

Zo gefixed. Mooie is dat je de QR-code ook nog kunt personaliseren. Wie veel met deze codes werkt, zeker aan te bevelen. Erg makkelijk om mee te werken. Verder bij vragen ook nog een prettige klantenservice. Dus Top!

First I created the QR code “for free” and printed several business cards. After a fortnight the code “expired” and I had to sign up. I did sign up for a monthly subscription and updated some details to make sure that would be working properly.

When I checked my bank account they charged $345 for the first month and the QR code doesn’t work properly. Contacted them via email and their website. No response at all.

I wrote back to them after they responded this post and they said they replied to my email “4 days ago” and the price paid was for the full year, not month as they sell it. Also, the price is a huge difference from stated. They advertised €14.95/month which is ~AUD$24.74. Full year should be then AUD 296.88. They charged me $345. This is ridiculous. They advertise monthly subscription and charge annually. Also the price is higher than advertised. Should not be allowed.

Updated: they falsely claimed the review was regarding another company. In the email they tried to refund $10 which they said it was overcharged. But would only refund after the review has been deleted. I did not agree with the $10 because: 1 - they sell the product as a monthly subscription and charge annually. 2 - the price is stated in euro and they charge in US$. 3 - the price advertised is before tax (which is very wrong). In this case, any value incurs a 19% surcharge. In short, the experience was quite traumatic. By the end I told them if they want the review down, they should refund full amount and cancel the service, which they declined.

Snelle service en kwaliteit. Mijn vraag werd direct op dezelfde dag op een prettige manier beantwoord. Fijn! Verder een gebruiksvriendelijke website.

Aanrader deze website! Vlug gemaakt en veel variaties mogelijk. Vriendelijke service na verkoop. Ook een overzichtelijke website met veel tips en voorbeelden.

Het is makkelijk en eenvoudig om een QR-code te genereren. Klantenservice is snel en makkelijk te bereiken.
