Great product, wonderful taste and a quality drink.
I’ve tried a lot of these drinks travelling, without a doubt this is my favourite, for taste and amount of Aloe Vera within the drink. Needs a shake prior to dinking, due to parts being a good size so they can sink, easily solved though. Ordering on line is easy, and quickly dispatched

I get my root beer from Tropical Sun Foods, and can say it's as good as any root beer you can get from the USA, I get a case at a time, Give it a try.

Great service from start to finish, made a large order which was packed and posted very fast, and every item I've used so far has been of the greatest quality, definitely recommend to anyone that wishes to add that bit of sunshine to every meal 🌞

I bought a packet of Jollof rice the other day and pleasantly suprised. Beautiful flavour and right amount of spice. The smokey flavour was to die for. Absolutely loved it. Tastyyyyy.
Please supply to other supermarkets. I got it from Co- op food Maidstone.
I'll definitely going out to buy some more.

I bought an instant tropical sun cornmeal porridge I followed instructions and all I could smell was the plastic tub it was in I three them straight into the bin absolutely disgusting

Arrived with damaged items, no damage to the box. Sent email & photo's. They apologised for the inconvenience & said they would replace the faulty items.
12 days from my 1st email, no response & no replacements.
A further16 days from my 2nd email, still no response or replacements.
Also found out all the items I bought direct from Tropical Sun can be purchased for a lot less elsewhere.
Very disappointed & out of pocket.

I recently bought a TROPICAL SUN FOODS 1.5kg 'Garri' brand. I opened the bag for the first time today and immediately I opened it, I could smell some unusual odour coming from the bag that cannot in any way be identified or associated with a garri product. Everything appeared like a case of adulterated garri product. However because the odour is not really offensive I decided to have a taste of the garri and after a few spoonsful, my stomach erupted in turmoil!
Since I was the only person at home and judging by the unusual pains in my stomach, I headed straight for the A&E to be on the safe side, carrying the bag of garri with me. The whole A&E was full as usual with a very long waiting line. While there, I suddenly felt the pains receding. Just then I saw a doctor walking past the corridor and stopped him and briefly explained what happened and how I now felt better and if it's necessary to still see a doctor. He recommended still seeing a doctor if I can wait. He said I should not taste even a grain again and that I should take the remaining pack to the store where I purchased it from and also tell them what happened.
I decided to leave and went straight to the super market where I purchased it from and told them what happened. They demanded for the receipt of purchase which I have misplaced. They didn't even seem to care about the health issues I mentioned, but only about ‘bringing a receipt in order to get a refund'!
I took the bag back home and later spoke with someone who advised contacting the Trading Standards in the first instance and also to see if there have been similar reports regarding this or any other Tropical Sun Food brands. Meanwhile I make sure when purchasing food items like this that I only purchase those imported directly into the UK from their countries of origin, available in local UK stores rather the ones re-packaged in UK by companies like Tropical Sun Foods. Since garri is one of the simplest of all foods to store and preserve, it makes it highly doubtful if this is not a case of adulteration.

I have used Tropical sun foods for a while now, I started ordering direct because the shops where I live don't stock west Indian/Caribbean foods, I especially like their Jerk paste but have discovered many spices and seasonings which are splendid.
I have had good experience and would highly recommend trying them out.

Tropical Sun has fantastic varied Caribbean products including vegan flavoured jackfruit, peanuts etc which are really delicious with unusual flavours you cannot find anywhere else in one place.
Also wonderful teas, fruit drinks and snacks etc.
A great company with wonderful customer service - highly recommend!

They carry a decent range of Caribbean products and the order and shipping was simple and goods arrived quickly. They carry some hard to find items these days such as dried red beans.

The plantain chips is really good, dry and crispy. You can't get enough of it. I bought some and placed each one in strategic places; office, living room, bedroom, and kitchen because i just can stop. It is not too salty and good price for the quantity. I highly recommend.
