In a world where we are often uncertain what our money is being used for, Triodos keeps me informed about the projects it supports. The staff have always been most helpful when I have questions about my accounts and I know that my money is safe.

Connected quickly and got a clear, concise answer. No hassle, no fuss—just exactly what I needed. Couldn’t ask for more!

I moved from a High Street bank to Triodos because i wanted to be with a more ethical bank. The move was simple and efficient, the app is easy to use and navigate and so far no real issues with the service.
However, a couple of things:
1. Unlike other banking apps, there's no way to view upcoming direct debits on my current account (only standing orders). I used to find this really useful with my previous bank when budgeting and tracking payments through the month.
2. This weekend (I'm writing this on Sunday)there was a warning that due to 'essential maintenance' payments would be delayed. I think it said until 2.30pm yesterday. But the message is no longer there, and I have 6 payment that should have gone out but are still just showing as 'reservation'. (One of those was a birthday gift for a friend yesterday).
And there's no one at Triodos I can contact at weekends...

Excellent customer service, which actually felt like talking to a person. No script - just an actual conversation about the problem I was experiencing in accessing the app on my phone after a factory restore, and what could be done to help. Patient, helpful, professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Really helpful staff in the online chat tracked down an email from Triodos which I had lost. It was just a newsletter type thing but had a link in it which I had found interesting and wanted to re-read.

The way the app works is brilliant. Access to accounts is quick, easy and secure. I needed to cash in an ISA, but I had forgotten my user name and password so I had to 'phone Triodos. There was no delay and the person I spoke to was knowledgeable and helpful. It was suggested that I download the app and doing so enabled me to quickly regain access to my account. I now intend to open a current account.

Really good service, going above and beyond what I'd originally asked for.

Trustpilot less so as it just deleted my longer, more detailed, review after I'd inputted the login code.

Communication is dismissive. I would not recommend they are unfriendly and arrogant.

I wanted to have a more ethical bank with less of a carbon footprint, but without risking my money. Triodos ticked those boxes. They are very transparent about where they invest, the card you receive turned out to be a conversation starter and they have now expanded to have some good bonds/ ISA/ saving accounts interest rates. I have also always managed to get through to them easily when i had a problem, and they are very good at trying to solve a problem. Before going with them, i read some reviews that people's card got declined for online paymentsm but i haven't had that happen. Honestly, for a smaller bank, im impressed and happy and it's been 3 or 4 years.

I made the switch from another bank, for ethical reasons, and it’s all gone very smoothly so far. I don’t want to jinx it, but no problems whatsoever. And lots to like about Triodos.
I really like the way the debit card is designed and paperless experience. The mobile app does what is required, with minimal fuss and easy on the eyes.

Awful processes - the opposite of a modern online bank. To make a transfer you have to download, print, sign and post a form. How is that defensible in 2025?! Shame - great ethical and social impact bank, but it lets itself down by being entirely un-customer-centric

A great bank that’s ethical and has brilliant customer care.
When I first joined there was a problem that was causing delay in payment.
I contacted the Triodos team and they had it resolved really quickly.
Highly recommend them.

Initially just had an ISA savings, but have now changed all of my day-to-day banking to Triodos. Their app is super easy to use and I know my money is not aiding polluters and weapons manufacturers!

The app works really well and is intuitive to use. But most importantly it feels like our banking is making a positive impact on the world.
