I had an enquiry about investment admin. There was no email to be found on the website. The 50 ish FAQs and help sheets ( in total randon order) were not relevant. I eventually found a telephone number, Number 1 in the queue 20 minute wait . That is not the way to treat customers, as if we are an inconvenience.

I decided to switch my Triodos current account to Barclays using the switch service. On the switch day the Triodos app showed my balance moved to a Barclays holding account. It had still failed to appear on my new account by the following day. I contacted Barclays who said this was due to a technical error with Triodos and the money should be available on the next working day - three days away given the intervening weekend and the bank system still revolves around a five day week.

The customer service team has always been very supportive and informative, dealing quickly and effectively with any issue I have had to confront, particularly around fraud and scams attempting to take money from my account.
Also their ethos around community and environmental support gives reassurance that it is a bank that genuinely cares about its place in society and indeed the planet, and behaves accordingly. Very good indeed.

Triodos debit card is not recognised at various places, refused payment at the vets .. very embarrassing and I had to go and withdraw cash
Refused to set up a payment plan with PayAssist at my local garage after £1200 repairs.. the bank isn't recognised!
Even the Post Office doesn't recognise it when I tried to pay in cash!
When I lost my debit card it took them 2 weeks to send a replacement..very stressful!

Triodos' standard bereavement processes simply weren't set up to handle the unique jurisdictional complexities of a US-based executor. Ultimately, it required escalating to a formal complaint process for the bank to find a workaround. Triodos has now taken full accountability, apologized for the administrative strain, and provided a financial settlement to close the case. I appreciate that the formal resolution team stepped in to settle this fairly. This matter has now been resolved.

So good to be with an no gimmicks truly ethical & sustainable bank. And no bot customer service 😏💚

Fantastic Bank With Great Ethical Standards. I previously banked with Triodos and have always found them reliable with no downtime on there Mobile Banking or Internet Banking. I have always found there staff friendly and helpful no matter what channel I have used to get hold of them, whether it be by the app chat function, email, telephone so much better then other high street banks out there.
I did however feel that the time to process Outward Payments (Faster Payments) a bit behind the times. It used to take anything up to an hour or more for the payment to be received by the other person. I would like to say that recently Triodos has made some Fantastic Improvements not only to the Faster Payments (now within minutes) they have added better functions to their Mobile App. Push Notifications for Inward Payments and Faster Payments and Debit Card Payments which are received by your mobile within minutes of the transaction being made so you can certainly see if there are any transactions you don't recognise and query them if needed. I feel in the last 6 months Triodos has made fantastic strides and have moved my banking back to them. I really think Triodos Bank could give all the High Street Banks a run for there money.

Card declined but account in significant credit. Tried to phone 45min wait. Helpful customer service rep who told me he system was down but the weren't sure exactly what it was yet so no fix time, they said they'd been trying to get senior team to get a message out explaining situation but not happened yet. Not great.

When I had a problem with making a payment, the online chat adviser was very helpful. Their questions were relevant and the issue was very quickly resolved.
