If you are looking for a professional team to help you building a sturdy garden room that offer value for money and efficient services, Tranquil Garden Rooms team is the supplier you could rely on. In just 4 days, they have completed the building of our garden office from scratch at very good quality despite the rain. We did find some minor defects the next day after they finished the work and their team came within a few days to fix them and it looks perfect now. Once we have installed the electricity and finished painting it, we should be able to use it. Thanks Mark and Emma team and keep up for all the great work!

Having had a summer house built in our garden in 2021 we thought we had everything. Alas, it leaked water by the bucket load and was soaked inside throughout the winter. In desperation, we needed to find something that would be fit for purpose i.e. dry and totally waterproof. We wanted this to be used as a hobby/garden room.
Having found Tranquil and researched what it had to offer we went ahead. A lot of money yes!!! but I can only say it was 100% worth it.

Mark and his team (including Emma) who liased with us from beginning to end, were absolutely brilliant. The team arrived on the day at the given time and all I can say is that they were brilliant. Worked so well as a team throughout our build. Professional, skilled, polite and lovely to have in our garden/house. They certainly restored our faith in trades people. We have never ever had a team or crew work so hard and diligently before. The Garden Room is fantastic. We watched every part of it as it was built. Materials were excellent in quality, as was the team's skills. One of their main skills, was, in my view, planning ahead and ensuring that all materials were available when required. No wasting of time or waiting about for things to be delivered. No excessive use of mobile phones either which in this day and age is ONE HUGE POSITIVE. We would recommend this company to anybody. I’m so pleased with the garden snug that Tranquil Garden Rooms created a few weeks ago. The process from start to finish was reassuringly straight forward. Mark and the team were professional throughout the build and were a lovely company to have around and communicate with. The end result looks splendid. I would recommend using this company to my family and friends. The room is already proving to be a great asset, both for a little escape and for socialising. I have an espresso coffee machine, prosecco in a little fridge and a comfy velvet sofa in mine, so it really is a lovely little snug to escape to!

We’re so pleased with our garden room which is going to be made into a studio/workshop for my small business. Mark and the team were highly professional, quick and extremely tidy while carrying out the build last week.

Firstly the quality of the build and attention to detail was first class and all completed in 7 days. The team were a pleasure to be around and Mark kept me informed all the way through and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had the perfect bespoke build. As an example, putting extra supports for my tv bracket and plug sockets where I wanted. Three weeks on the room is all we wanted and more, all the elements work really well, the insulation is great, the fire Mark supplied is superb, it’s a well designed thought through solution.
Would thoroughly recommend as my build will stand up to any scrutiny. I was actually sorry to see the team go and the dog still misses them!

We cannot recommend Tranquil garden rooms enough… From start to finish nothing was too much trouble, from my constant emails asking sooo many questions, Emma was always so professional whilst being so kind and friendly at the same time.
Last week, during the build, Mark and the team were just the loveliest. The most respectful and polite workmen we have ever had here, and their craftsmanship is second to none. We are over the moon with the build and can’t wait to make it our own.

Initially I was very pleased with the company and the garden room we had built at the end of last year, however an issue with the door frame has uncovered a significant issue with the warranty the company provides on the build (or doesn’t provide) and the after service (or lack of) from the Tranquil garden room company..

As with many reviews here we were initially very happy with the build but after around 8 Months one of the door glass shattered without any reason. I contacted the company as I felt there must be a fault with the glass or fitting as nothing had happened to the door and we have never had a door/window smash in this way.

But they confirmed the glass wasn’t covered under warranty and that I would have to fix it myself. So I called a glazier to replace the glass, he arrived and immediately confirmed that the door wasn’t straight (he put the glass against the frame and it wasn’t sitting squarely at all), he could fit the new glass but he said I should contact the builder as his view was the pressure on the glass from the bent frame had caused the glass to shatter and it could happen again. He measured the door and the middle of the frame was 6mm less than the outside top to bottom so the door was being pinched in the middle by the frame. The door on the left side (which shattered) was also not closing properly, I hadn’t noticed this as I only used the door on the right which was a little sticky but not too much.

So I contacted Tranquil garden rooms again on the back of the glaziers recommendation – initially I received no response so I kept trying and eventually the response was:

“The problem that I’ve got, is nothing was said about the door not closing properly before the glazier replaced the glass and now you have an issue with closing the door so we are not liable. He may not of heel and toed the glass correctly.

The guarantee is only on the structural elements of the garden room not the doors or windows.“

I’ve gone back several times since to try and get the issue resolved but had no response since the one above. The lack of communications from the company is really terrible. It’s obviously not the glaziers issue, just looking at the bottom of the frame you can see the frame is bent upwards at the bottom of the left door, It bows upwards about 5mm - the fitting is really poor.

I’ve sent photos of the bent frame and I warned that I’d write this review if I didn’t get any response, but still have had nothing back from the company in months of trying.

While the garden room looks great and we were happy with the build initially it seems that if there is an issue with anything then the warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on and they just stop communicating with you.

The door frame would have a warranty from the manufacturer – if it had been installed properly… The installation should be covered under warranty but it isn’t. If you have an issue after the build chances are you will be on your own.

If I was doing a garden room again I wouldn’t go with this company due to the complete lack of interest and communications after they have completed the build.

I was impressed by the company from first contact, communication with Mark and Emma was speedy and responsive. The design stage was swift and straightforward. The build process was exceptionally efficient and very fast. They guys worked very hard and completed the project sooner than anticipated. They were at all times professional and a real pleasure to have on site.
The garden room is absolutely stunning and has changed our lives, we love the space. Everyone who had seen it has been impressed.
