Absolutely terrible customer service I would not recommend this company at all.we spent nearly one thousand pound to do tough mudder and was really looking forward to it but on the eve of the event my son tested positive for covid and in the instructions for tough mudder we was not allowed to take part we have all emailed them on numerous occasions and they have not sent one response,we are even willing to change the venue for a later date.This is a terrible company who should be ashamed avoid at all costs
DISGRACE OF A COMPANY!
It's been well over a year since my race was cancelled due to the first sign of Covid. Since then every one of my team have flown back to NZ or Australia and I've been trying to get a refund since but they simply won't give me one. Absolute disgrace of a company! They respond once a month to emails and don't answer the question about refunds. Their reputation is going down the toilet by the looks of it and I'll be shocked if they recover with the amount of bad press coming their way!
My whole team are waiting for refunds - I wouldn't mind if it was a cheap event but it's not!

Like everyone is saying terrible customer service! They gave my friend a refund but not me. They just ignore your emails. Event is coming up in day they changed my time and ruined it for everyone giving us all different times. Even if I could make it now I wouldn't give them my time.

They take your money and don't respond
I've never had such a terrible customer experience. 30 days before event they sent out updated times so I'd be running alone instead of with friends. I immediately emailed for help to change this and have only received a generic email after 2 weeks saying times will be updated a week before event. Only a few days to the event, still nothing and I won't be going due to this uncertainty. Anyone reading this, thinking of going, do so at your own risk that any issues you may have they won't resolve

Wish I could put Zero stars, they haven’t replied to me for 22 days. After reading these reviews I realise 22 days isn’t bad compared to other people but I still want some sort of reply.

Awful customer service - never respond to emails and completely messed up the scheduling of the event. Extremely disappointing.

Awful customer service, don’t even respond. due to covid the events kept getting canceled! But they made it very difficult to understand what was happening, I asked for my money back which I was told it was to late and I couldn’t claim a refund… I then emailed about attending the next event to be ignored and now I’ve asked what’s happening and it’s been over 20 days without a reply, HIGHLY advise to not get involved with these.
Very let down
I was so excited to receive registration to this event from my boyfriend as a gift for my birthday. We signed up together, as a plan to complete it together. But have now been re-scheduled and provided different dates and times from one another. In fact, our entire team that signed up together has been split up. No one is responding to our emails or facebook messages and the event is 1 week away. Disgraceful customer service.

Horrible organization and even worse customer service. I signed up with my work colleagues to participate in the race and do some team bonding… We selected a date and time that suited everyone together… out of the blue they decided to change the times and placed everyone in different time slots. I have emailed them at least 5 times to request a refund and they can’t even be bothered to say that they received the email and that they will look into it… It is a shameful organization that cares absolutely nothing about their image… i wish i had seen their reviews before i went to signup like and idiot… It’s a disgrace that for £90 they will chose to stain their name, be respectful to other and have the guts to admit that it was the organization the one that defaulted the agreement refund the money of those who trusted you and move forward with dignity… You win some, you loose some… well in this case is just the naive public whose lost…

For those of you considering Tough…
For those of you considering Tough Mudder, please exercise discretion. I registered for a race June 12, 2021. The organization rescheduled that race to another date which I am unable to attend. When I contacted the company to advise them of the conflict, they are actively refusing to reimburse me because they claim it is not within the policy to issue refunds outside 48 hours of the purchase. They change dates and make it impossible for some to attend, but they'll keep your money and tell you it's your fault.
Customer service is Non Existent
Tried to enquire about a refund for over a month now, on all social platforms and via email and have been ignored. They even blocked my wife from posting on their facebook page. Customer service is disgusting!
Avoid at all costs
I have asked twice for a refund for an event postponed due to covid with no future date set. Twice my emails have been ignored. They are keeping people's money and this can not be legal.
Terriable Customer Service
Booked for 2 events a year in advance, due to covid was cancelled and both tickets change to same date for 2021.

Extremely slow to refund (but did get it!) - ignored by customer services
Couldn't attend the rescheduled event, was told we would have a refund 'within 2 months' in January - completely ignored since then. Every time I email I get an automated 'this is currently being reviewed' response then nothing else. Shame as we've booked tough mudder for years, definitely won't be returning to a company that treats customers like this. A lot of companies have had covid difficulties and we've not been able to get full refunds on various events or been faced with delays but at least the customer service has been there unlike with tough mudder - nothing like completely ignoring loyal customers.
Update - without any contact at all from them a full refund has randomly appeared in my account mid-May. Customer service still leaves a lot to be desired but I did get my refund in the end!
Disgusting
Disgusting. Cancelled, deferred all well and good - we stuck with them. Now deferred to a date none of us can make and they state 6 months refund. Clearly intended to support their cash flow until they can resell tickets and I get that but what about customers cash flow. Awful. Will never use again.
