Quality Machine -
Bought a i7/GTX1080 machine from the web site. Overall very happy with the service - the web site isnt great in that I could not log in and review status of order. Customer support is all e-mail based you wont be able to speak with anyone to help you the phone number is just a recorded message telling you to log in to the web site.
I did discover that if you press "1" for sales you will get to speak with a person who was very helpful and provided me status on my build.
My machine arrived with a 2TB and 500 GB SSD - the mechanical HD was not configured and not visible via windows filemanager ; I managed to figure out how to get this set up thanks to google and youtube - it would have taken a long time to deal with this via e-mail on customer support to walk through the steps checking BIOS, wiring etc. I work in IT and am very computer literate - this would have foxed people less synched in.
Once the drive was there is was a doddle to shrink D: and install ubuntu as dual boot.
The actual machine arrived as spec'd and the cable management was very professionally done within the case. Overall the machine is awesome delivering >60 FPS on Tomb Raider and Fortnite.
The only concern I would have is the accessibility of customer support should you need help to deal with an issue and the ability to track the status of my order ... unlike Amazon where you get frequent updates on the status of the oder ... it simply showed up on my doorstep.
Overall they are legitimate and delivered the product that I paid for in less than 10 days as committed.

You can view the status of an order by logging into your account @ TORQUEGAMING however for this to work you must first create an account and the order must have originally been placed when you were logged in. I believe you did setup and account and therefore by logging in using your email address and the password you used to create the account you should have been able to see the order status. Please email us with details if you were unable to do this ( sales@torquegaming.ie).
We do offer sales and technical support on the phone however we prefer customs to use the contact form or the ticket system as this allows our technicians to have all of the available information and to be able to offer far more detailed solutions. We are always happy to deal with support issues over the phone but from experience we have found the online ticket system to be far superior. We understand that on occasions speaking with a member of staff is best and this is why we still offer telephone support. I will have the information on our telephone system reviewed and updated.
Not initializing the the secondary driver was a genuine mistake by the technician and we apologise for this. This is a step we have drilled into each technician however your PC was assembled and tested by one of our senior technicians who has over 10 years of experience so should not have made the mistake. In his defense he was dealing with training on this day and I believe this is why he made this rookie mistake.
We have been building and designing PCs for over 20 years and our staff have years of experience and you can see this in each PC we build.

One last note is that we are about to launch an order update system by email similar to our www.CUSTOMPC.ie website and we expect this to be ready early next month. When this goes live there will be an email for each stage with the following stages PENDING , PROCESSING , SYSTEM AT BUILD STAGE , FINAL TESTING BEFORE DISPATCH and DISPATCHED. This is part of our current system at www.CUSTOMPC.ie however the new website was unable to offer this however our developers have been working to implement and we expect it to go live next month.

Your order was placed on the 4th of September and the estimated delivery date was the 18th of September 2018 ( 10 business days from date of order ).
The delay which we notified you was that the model of the laptop is changing and the new model will feature the Pentium N5000. The estimated delivery of the new
version to our build facility is Friday the 21st of September 2018. We endeavour to build and ship all custom laptops within 10 business days however delays can occur when models are being updated.
UPDATE.
We have supplied an updated model of laptop to the customer within 72 hours of the customer replying to our email. The order to delivery took 12 days which is 2 days longer than the normal maximum however this was due to the model ordered not being available. Once we confirmed with the customer that they were ok with the upgrade ( for same price as ordered model) we shipped within 72 hours.
It is out policy to confirm any change made with a customer prior to shipment.
Great laptop
had to wait 10 days but it was worth it.
