Working with the employee at Ting was absolutely incredible!!! They caught a problem and helped us get it fixed before we had an electrical fire! They monitored our home for days to make sure the problem was fixed! I cannot recommend them enough!!! Our problem turned out to be a faulty breaker that was arcing and could have started a fire.

Our State Farm provided Ting had sat quietly for four years monitoring our house. Then suddenly one day we began receiving alerts of power surges and brown outs. Looking back we can see that Ting had been monitoring the increasing levels of power fluctuation for several months. When corrosion of our neutral connection to the utility company finally reached a level causing concerning spikes and drops, Ting issued a Fire Hazard warning. Ting even suggested that the problem might be with the neutral connection. With the Ting reporting, the utility company crew was able to quickly diagnose and repair the connection. Many thanks to Ting and State Farm for preventing costly appliance and electronics damage, and for helping us eliminate this potential fire hazard.

I got Ting Fire for free from State Farm. It consistently goes offline after a few hours and I did everything to reset which works for a few hours. I would not buy myself as it is not worth the money and what happens if I go away for a few days I cannot reset or move to another outlet.

Customer Service has been non responsive after two days.

Ting is great ,alerted us to a potential fire. They sent an electrician to check it out ,turned out to be a bad breaker.He was really nice and fixed the problem and Ting took care of it.Now I feel at ease knowing Ting is monitoring our home ,I highly recommend them. A big shout out to customer service, they were fantastic

So I had an incident at my house where a plug overheated and caught fire. Ring did not detect it. So I called them and I have to praise the professionalism and courtesy they showed me. However they claim to give you a $1000 credit towards any repairs. So for this they use a third party contractor to schedule an electrician to come fix/replace your problem. They tell you it could take up to two weeks to schedule this. I waited long enough( four days). I scheduled my own electrician and they were at my house the same day and fixed the issue. What I’m saying is I wonder if the wait time is by design so you will just lose patience and go get it done yourself.

Ting was offered by State Farm with my homeowners policy so I thought, why not. I didn't know much about it but agreed. I had no idea what to expect and didn't think much about it. Then one afternoon an alarm went off on my phone and immediately a Ting Fire Safety Agent called. I was so surprised and honestly scared. They went through the testing process and were able to pinpoint the exact outlet causing the arcing. Wow! They offered assistance with arrangements for an electrician but my husband was capable of changing it out. They stayed in touch with us until it was resolved as this happened at our second home, 7 hours away, that we only go to once a month. Once we changed the outlet they again went through testing with us. What an amazing system and means of protecting our home. THANK YOU TING.

Was sent Ting for monitoring fire. Seemed pretty easy to sign up but couldn't didnt work. Reached out to support and basic resolution reboot my phone, annoying, and unplug device. Device didn't work and support was useless as fiving them detailed error message

Ting notified me of a hazard on the app and I was then called within 10 seconds with a live agent explaining what was happening. Over multiple weeks I was walked through testing and was given an electrician free of charge. Problem was fixed timely and simple.

I had faulty outlets in the kitchen. I received text messages, email & phone calls. Tyler walked me through several procedures to find the exact issue. He was very patient & calming for me. Once the issue was located, he offered to schedule an electrician that Ting would pay up to $1,000 towards the work. I chose to get a friend to do the work. When the work was completed I called in & talked to Luis. Again, he was patient and kind. My whole experience was better than I would have expected. Thank you, again!

During a recent visit, I installed a Ting plug-in sensor at my mother's residence about 2000 miles away, and set it up to report to my phone's app. The sensor reports information related to the electrical system and its use of power, as well as anomalies if/when they occur. In addition to real-time monitoring of the electrical system, we also receive weekly reports via email. After a few weeks of normal routine reporting, Ting reported a potential fire hazard at my mother's residence. I received multiple notifications encouraging me to call Ting to address this issue. So, I promptly called Ting, and their representatives allowed me to set up 3-way conversations that included my mother. During the calls, they gave step-by-step troubleshooting instructions for my mother to follow (while they monitored her electrical data), until we were able to isolate the issue and take appropriate action to remove the threat. We are very thankful to the Ting team for their professionalism, expertise and patience in getting this resolved and making her home safer. I have a Ting sensor in my own homes, and highly recommend them for any homeowner, business owner, or tenant.

The staff at Ting alerted us there was a potential for a fire due to arching in our electrical system. They spent time helping us identify the problem then sent out a very knowledgeable electrician to fix it. State Farm provides their customers the Ting monitor for free and then provides help to avoid a fire.

My entire experience with Ting was positive! A potential fire hazard was detected in my home. After Ting ran several tests, five outlets with adapters were determined to be the issue. I removed all adapters and connected cords directly into the outlets themselves. This resolved all issues.

I especially appreciate the fact that each time I called, I was put in touch with a person (not AI) in less than 30 seconds. I spoke with Rebecca and Amy on different occasions. Each was polite, patient, knowledgeable and very professional.

Ting was provided by my insurance company State Farm. On Saturday morning , I received a text and email alerting me to a possible electrical fire hazard. Ting instructed me to call PG&E immediately which I did. When PG&E arrived an hour later, I was able to show them high and low power surges off the app. PG&E found a loose and corroded terminal which they replaced. Ting continued to monitor my house until Tuesday with good communication, until they considered the problem had been resolved. All good now. Thank you Ting!

If you’re wondering whether Ting is worth having, my answer is an absolute yes.

There was a hazard one if my outlets. I signed up for Ting thru State Farm and am extremely pleased with service. This far exceeded my expectations. I got a text and email on June 29th, 2026, and then a phone call to let me know there was a fire hazard in one of my electrical outlets in my house. Dovran called and took the time to find the hazard; He spent over an hour going thru my electrical panel where we turned off each breaker till we found where the spike was in the room. We had a nightlight in one of our bedrooms. The nightlight was like an old lava lamp. A small one. This nightlight was leaking and we did not know that. If it were not for the Ting device and professional customer service - we could have had a fire in our house. I cannot tell you how please I am with the Ting device and Dovran for helping find the hazard. I spoke to my State Farm agent to let them know about my experience. I highly recommend getting the Ting device. I have told my family and friends. Please look at getting the Ting device it is worth more than gold.

I received notice from your Ting organization that arcing was detected on the system monitoring my home through your organization. Pierce called me and we spent a good hour or so checking everything plausible. We finally discovered that it was a lamp on a bedside stand. I took the lamp for assessment and found that the bulb receptacle was “fried“ and was most likely the cause of the arcing that was detected. The lamp was repaired and then retested and found to no longer be causing the arcing. Problem solved! I so truly appreciate your diligence in monitoring my home and I can't thank you enough. This was especially important to me, as my neighbor lost her house to an electrical fire a couple of months ago. It would’ve been devastating for me and my husband if such a thing happened to us. Thank you to all the Ting people who participated in resolving this issue. I might add that I ignored State Farm's free offer for this device, until my neighbor's house burned down. It spurred me on to get this and I am so glad I did. After reading other people's experiences, it made me realize how little we think about that which is "unseen" such as the electrical wires in our homes. A big THANK YOU to the inventor of this product!

I was alerted when a representative called me to alert me of a potential hazard. I didn't even realize I had a notification on the app. We spoke and tested several switches to determine the potential cause of the hazard. Apparently, there was an electrical arc. It took a couple of weeks, but we started by replacing a light bulb, then a light switch, and finally, a light fixture. During each step, Ting monitored to see if the hazard had been eliminated. When the light fixture was replaced, it took a few days to monitor to confirm that had been the issue. I'm glad I'm using Ting to help catch these types of issues that could have potentially been catastrophic.

I had an excellent experience with Ting and their support team, especially Zackary. Our Ting sensor detected a recurring electrical issue, and Zackary reached out after noticing a potential surge happening on consecutive days at roughly the same time. While on the phone, he patiently walked me through troubleshooting the problem. Together, we tracked it down to a faulty mobile phone charging block and/or charging cable that was causing the issue. I was genuinely impressed that Ting monitors for this type of electrical hazard and proactively contacts customers before it becomes something more serious. It's reassuring to know the system is looking out for potential fire risks that I never would have noticed on my own. Zackary was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me identify and resolve the problem. Thanks to Ting's technology and Zackary's excellent support, a potential fire hazard was eliminated quickly and easily. I highly recommend Ting for the peace of mind it provides and for the outstanding customer service behind it.

I received a notice that there was a potential hazard in my house. It actually surprised me as I had no idea that anything was happening. I called the number and was directed to a person who asked questions, had me send a photo of my electrical box, and eventually discovered that I had a light bulb in my garage arcing. I removed the light bulb and ordered another. Ting kept in contact with me in the days following to verify that there was no more arcing detected and even verified that a new bulb was installed before completing the resolution. I was blown away with the personal interaction and concern over multiple days. Ting was provided by my insurance company - so glad they have offered this.
