We love using the thingstogetme…
We love using the thingstogetme website! We’ve used it now for around 4 years, It’s been super helpful for friends, secret Santa, Christmas & birthdays too!
Their customer support team is also superb and incredibly responsive.
The ease of the website or the app version is super, even our grandparents can navigate around it too! I love that you can copy and paste the website into the item and all the data is inputted for you just makes it hold that extra level of simplicity.
Would recommend this to anyone!

Exactly what I wanted. It allows me to link any website for any reason into an organized, categorized, prioritized list. Excellent way to cut off the spigot and get away from Target and Amazon!

Why I like things to get me
I used this to make my christmas list this year. It is very helpful because you can link products ,write notes, and include pictures. And the people who are buying yous guff can reserve things aswl so you don't get two of the same thing

This is my first time using the site and I'm loving it! I decided to make my Christmas wish list, and it's been a great help. They have several options, and everything is very self-explanatory and easy to use. So far I haven't encountered any problems.

Easy to use and reserve items
Loved easy copy and paste link feature to add items I wish for.
Loved being able to list my items under categories. This also helps my guests choose a section that they feel comfortable with and selecting the item as reserved.

I would not use this if you are using their shipping service
I used this to buy a gift for someone and used their service for them to send it to the person. This costs an additional £12.99.
You have to buy the gift yourself and have the item shipped to them (it’s a residential address not a warehouse).
From that point on you get no further updates on if the gift has been sent onto the person. If you contact them they refuse to give you an update saying it’s (due to the sensitive nature of the service).
As the person who is paying for the service we should be able to get simple notifications to say if something has been shipped from them and if it has arrived with the person. None of this would break the confidentiality of the recipient.
None of this is made clear at the time of purchase or anywhere on their website, leaving the buyers of the items feeling unsafe and like they have been scammed.
I would advise anyone thinking of using this so their fans can buy them gifts to use another service, one where the fans feel like they have some security

To clear things up:
Our job is to keep the recipients addresses secret, safe, and completely unknown to the outside world.
Your job, as a gift-sender, is simply to send the gift.
That's the whole arrangement. Simple, but effective.
Once your parcel arrives with us, it goes into "privacy mode".
No updates, no tracking breadcrumbs, no accidental clues for even the most ambitious detective-level fans.
Not because we don't like you - but because we really like the recipient's safety.
We never promise delivery notifications, because keeping the recipients location private means not confirming when or where anything has gone.
Social-engineering attempts happen more often than you'd think, trying to bypass our security - so we simply don't entertain the questions.
For what it's worth, our users, such as content creators and influencers, love our strict privacy policy. It's the reason they trust the service.
And trust us: if the fan's curiosity ever outweighs the recipient's safety, we're siding with safety every single time.
We get that this wasn't the experience you expected, but it was exactly the one we provide - privacy first, fan curiosity never.
