Very dodgy company happy to take my money. Now I'm asking for a refund are demanding ID. That's fine I've provided it and it has a tick saying verified. However when I try to withdraw it still says waiting for ID approval. Their chat support function doesn't work. I suspect it is a scam operation. Stay well aware
They don't answer chats or emails
They don't answer chats or emails. I've been trying to get paid for three months and they haven't paid me what I invested. Maybe they're thieves; they should go to jail for stealing money from people who trust them.

I have been a customer for a long time and will not be any more. I sent an email to Minted to fix an issue minutes after I placed my order, but they did not respond. I called and had to wait an hour on hold and they didn't fix the issue. There was no way on their website to fix the issue myself, even seconds after my order was placed.

This app (minted) is a scam, for years I have been making monthly payments. Then I decided to order the gold bars. Two grams and one grams. I didn’t get the order but Minted did took £8.99 for delivery charge. I reached out to support gave the proof what they ask for and never got a response. I have been chasing this now for almost three weeks.
Since I did not get a response I decided to withdraw my money out. Response was, I should be getting my money 2 - 3 working days as yet I have not received this and it has almost been a week.
This was an investment for my two young daughters. I am now going to get in touch with FCA and the Police if I don’t hear anything end of the week I will be escalating this.
I would strongly advise to stay away from this app. This guys are scammers. Minted, I will do whatever I need to get my money back.

Minted is a nice platform to use especially their monthly subscription offer to buy gold or silver. Ive seen quite a few bad reviews but ive been using the platform for a year and it works well for me. They can improve their customer service though but I haven't faced any issues with withdrawing my funds or selling any assets on the platform.

Stay Completely Away
I don't trust this company at all. They have a phone number and email listed to contact them but the phone number doesn't work and they don't respond to any emails.
I cannot access my account anymore. I have had my account since 2022 and recently received a message that it is being verified and that someone from their team will be in touch.
It's been over a week and I have received no email or phone call. They have not posted anything on their social media channels in mid JUNE 2024 which is also is a very worrying sign.
If I don't hear for them very soon they are going to wish they never dealt with me.

This company is highly unprofessional and cannot be trusted. They ignore emails, provide no contact number, and claim to have ongoing payment system updates—yet months have passed without gold being delivered or refunds issued. How does a payment system update justify such delays?
After contacting the FCA, I discovered that the company is not actually FCA-regulated as they claim on their website. They are only registered for money transferring, not for their core business activities.
Since January, I have repeatedly requested either the delivery of my gold or a refund. Each time, they assure me that the issue will be resolved "in the next few days," yet nothing changes.
I even attempted to reach out directly to the company's owner after obtaining their number from the FCA, but my number was immediately blocked—an incredibly unprofessional and suspicious response.
This situation is unacceptable. I strongly advise against trusting this company, as they continue to demonstrate serious failures in multiple areas.

Non-existent customer service. Had payments failing for past few months, contacted about it on 1 Feb, again on 7th Feb, still no response.
Unprofessional and Unresponsive
I have been using this company for a while now and to be honest it is/was quite a good model.
However in the last 2-3 months, I have lost complete trust in them, I have emailed them multiple times and not received any reply.
The last straw was today when I tried to withdraw my assets and as you guessed, it does not allow me to. Another user has mentioned this below too.
I have reported them to The FCA and FO.
Please see below the 5 FCA Conduct rules you have signed up for;
1. You must act with integrity.
2. You must act with due skill, care and diligence.
3. You must be open and cooperative with the FCA, the PRA and other regulators.
4. You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly.
5. You must observe proper standards of market conduct.

Their support in non existent. No place to call or speak to someone. I have tried to get gold bar in my account delivered but it’s not allowing neither I am able to withdraw funds. Really worried that it may turn out to be a scam. Will be making a complaint to FCA straight away. Avoid them at all cost.

Their customer service is nonexistent. I've sent them an email about a transactions and it's been over a month without a response. Absolutely terrible. I will be withdrawing my funds and look elsewhere to make my investments in Gold.

I only noticed a problem when my monthly subscription failed. I then found the company to be completely unresponsive to messages and no way to contact them. I've tried to withdraw my money but it just stays on awaiting confirmation. Having seen that others have also not received their money I am panicking now that they've taken a large amount of money that I may never see again. I've reported them to FCA but so far no news. Update. After a number of emails I've now managed to withdraw my investment so I'm relieved. I really can't say if this is a bad company, I just know I don't feel comfortable using them anymore.
