I needed to source an olive rose day date 40 with a ridiculously immediate time frame and Oscar managed to do the impossible. The whole experience with the kettle kids is top tier and such an enjoyable one for anyone with a passion for watches. Honestly impeccable from start to finish and can trust them with all your needs.

I recently purchased a watch from
Kettle kids. I initially walked past their store on Bond Street having seen their advert on Chrono24. Oscar was very professional and welcoming. They had an excellent selection and wanted to make sure that I chose the right watch and followed up with me via WhatsApp later that day. I visited them again via appointment the following week and the service was excellent. They did not apply any pressure and had an honest opinion on watch prices and the market. Once I had decided which watch I wanted they sent me all the documentation via photos which I then verified in person at the shop. I also checked with another reputable grey market seller and they gave strong feedback on them. Price negotiation was fair and reasonable and I was asked to pay a deposit and then completed the purchase a few days later. All invoicing and confirmation of payment was excellent. The watch was delivered to me in perfect condition via a very professional courier service which they use. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will use them again.

Agreed a deal on a watch involving a trade in. Some back and forth via WhatsApp in the lead up to agreeing the numbers which was generally good spirited whilst remaining professional. Negotiations in person weren’t possible as I live four hours from the store which I explained. Having agreed the deal, I spoke briefly to Oscar on the phone where I was asked to send an immediate deposit to secure the watch. Nervous about some of the negative reviews I’d read online, I said I would travel down to London the next day to do the deal in person. Having ended the call, I messaged him asking him to send me live pictures and video of the full set before I made the journey down. I then got a message back almost immediately saying the watch was sold. No apology, and the ensuing texts that followed when I’d highlighted that how it had all been handled didn’t look great on them, and asking for a deposit for a watch that doesn’t even exist really wasn’t good, were all pretty shirty and dismissive and a very different tone to any that were exchanged prior. Really shoddy customer service for a business dealing with high end watches and I’d never trust them with my money again as a result. Buyer beware.

Everything the other reviews say is true. Any watch you buy from here will be available for 10-20% less at another dealer and you are not paying that premium for customer service. If you change your mind the next day, as I did, you will essentially be told to get lost.

Avoid this company at all costs, do your research on chrono24 and do not be fooled by their instagram or the puff pieces they have paid for in magazines where they claim to be ‘changing the watch game’ by charging way over the odds to people who don’t know any better.

Terrible flavor and weird texture — nothing like advertised.

The chips were stale and had no crunch — total waste of money.

Customer service never responded to my complaint.

Common advice: avoid buying remotely and verify watch prices independently before purchase.

I've bought watches from Kettle Kids London on a couple of occasions now, and the service has been absolutely perfect each time. Billy and Joe were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend – I'll definitely be back again!

Avoid Kettle Kids – Terrible Service and Price Gouging!

I had a terrible experience with Kettle Kids. I purchased a watch from their website, only to realize the next day that they had severely overcharged me. I checked the price elsewhere, and it was significantly lower – a clear case of price gouging. When I tried to reach out to their customer service, it was even worse. They were completely unhelpful and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. It's clear they only care about making a quick buck at the expense of customers.

I would highly recommend avoiding Kettle Kids at all costs. Their practices feel like a scam, and their customer service is non-existent. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. There are far more reputable companies out there that treat their customers fairly.

Absolutely disappointed with Kettle Kids London. I bought a watch for my son thinking I was getting something special—but instead, I was massively overcharged. The price was outrageous, and I later found out it was nowhere near what it should have cost (a few days later) . We're talking tens of thousands down the drain.

Even worse? The customer service after the sale was non-existent. They were helpful before I paid, but once the money was gone, they didn’t want to know. Rude, unhelpful, and dismissive.

Avoid this place unless you want to get ripped off and ignored when you need help. I regret ever walking in.

I purchased a watch from Kettle Kids alongside my son, trusting that we were paying a fair market price. Shortly after, we had the watch independently valued by both a Rolex store and an experienced watch enthusiast, only to find out that it was worth significantly less than what we paid.

We feel completely misled by the pricing and lack of transparency in the sale. This was an unfortunate experience, especially considering my son was young at the time, and we placed our trust in what we believed was a reputable business.

While I understand that watch values fluctuate, a fair business should ensure customers are well-informed rather than taking advantage of their lack of expertise. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this company unless you have expert knowledge of watch valuations beforehand.

My business partner was unfortunately a victim of a scam from Kettle Kids. He purchased a Rolex Daytona from them for £31,500 on the premise that it was worth that amount, only to later discover, just a week later and very close to the date of purchase, through a watch specialist, that the watch was actually valued at £23,000 at the time. The company misrepresented the value of the watch, claiming it was worth far more than it actually was.

In response to a complaint and review left by my business partner, Kettle Kids tried to justify their actions by claiming that they were in line with market trends and that they don’t guarantee the value of watches. However, their response was misleading and manipulative, completely dismissing the fact that they inflated the price without transparency.

It’s clear that Kettle Kids takes advantage of customers by charging far above market value without providing accurate information. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs. Do not shop here if you want to avoid being misled and taken advantage of. This is a scam company

Disappointed with Overpricing and Misleading Claims

I purchased a Rolex Daytona from TheKettleKids on November 11, 2022, for £31,500, which at the time was significantly overpriced (the market value was approximately £23,000). I was assured that I was getting a good deal, but it became evident that I was being charged far above the fair market value.

This experience left me feeling misled and scammed. I highly recommend avoiding this jeweler as they seem to take advantage of customers by overpricing their products.

I am hoping for a resolution and a refund, but as of now, I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase.

I must clarify that shortly after purchasing the watch, I was informed it was not worth the price I paid, which was £31,000, but was actually valued at £23,000 at the time. This discrepancy was not due to market fluctuations but rather the price you initially quoted, which was not accurate. I believe this misrepresentation needs to be addressed

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know a lot about watches and would be easily fooled into buying something worth a lot less or even fake BUT I would trust the young men at Kettle Kids who have made it their business to educate themselves to the highest standards and offer honest and trustworthy items. I can’t say that about all other ‘watch specialists’.
