Because Beauty Doesn't Have to Cost the Earth. The Ilex Wood is an independent British natural skincare company, founded in 2018 and based in Northamptonshire. We handcraft natural skincare and body care products using carefully selected botanical ingredients, with a focus on creating effective, concentrated products while reducing our impact on the environment. Our range includes natural face creams and serums, cleansing balms, salves, body balms, lip balms, massage oils and our popular natural deodorants. We believe skincare doesn't need to be complicated or filled with unnecessary ingredients. Many of our products use waterless formulations, meaning they are highly concentrated and a little goes a long way. By removing unnecessary water, fillers and excessive packaging, we can create products that are both practical to use and more efficient to manufacture and transport. Sustainability has been at the heart of The Ilex Wood from the beginning. Our products are vegan and cruelty-free, and we avoid palm oil and plastic packaging wherever possible. We carefully consider everything from the ingredients we source to the packaging we use and how our products reach our customers. Unlike many beauty brands, we manufacture our products ourselves. Our skincare is handmade by our own team in Northamptonshire, giving us control over the quality of the products we make and allowing us to remain true to the principles on which The Ilex Wood was founded.
