Frankincense is my all time favourite fragrance, this is mixed with rose is a real treat for the skin, smells, divine feels good too, good for the soul, I highly recommend it 10 out of 10.

A very pleasant aromatic yet discreet product which my partner likes very much, and she's notoriously 'choosy' about her toiletries!!

My fiancée got me using skin care years ago and we’ve always used ( mostly French ) high end brands which have been excellent. I stumbled across Ilex wood and started using the Calendula salve and then most other products of their range .. genuinely my skin has never looked or felt better EVER .. seriously ..
I always had red patches on my face because I have very sensitive skin ., my skin is now totally even and feels naturally nourished to the point I look like I used to 15 years ago ..we now buy most of their other products . I care for my 95 yr old mum who also uses Calendula salve and also the lip balm and she’s looking fabulous .. very very fresh ..
We live in Scotland and face harsh weather conditions during winter months and our skin takes a beating so the natural way these products are made really suit our conditions and make our skin feel really healthy and fully hydrated/protected ..

I ordered Ilex Wood Rose and Frankincense face cream, initially because I was looking for a face cream with Frankincense specifically because I understand it firms up the skin, it does firm up my sagging skin and has a nice smell, one that I like anyway. As far as I’m aware no risky products in it (i.e. no risky chemicals as surprisingly some face creams I used to use have). Easy to order on Ilex Wood website, not too expensive and if I remember correctly no delivery fee, product didn’t take long to arrive either, I understand it’s made in Northampton, i.e. A British product. Win-win for me!
I look forward to putting it on, can honestly say, pleased I bought it.

I love these products, the body butter, face cream and eye serum in particular. They smell beautiful and glide into the skin very easily and, best of all, it’s all organic ingredients. I've tried half a dozen different zero-waste natural deodorants over the years without issue but I got very concerned a few months back when my current one suddenly started causing severe irritation and brought up some small lumps in my armpit that I worried might be sinister. I tried a few others subsequently and all were suddenly having the same effect. A bit of research showed that sodium bicarbonate was a common allergen, and all of the natural deodorants I'd been using contained it. Quick Google of 'sodium bicarbonate-free zero-waste vegan cruelty-free deodorants' showed me that the lovely The Ilex Wood offered an SB-free one, so before booking a doctor's appointment I thought I'd give it a try. 2 weeks in and there's no irritation and the lumps have disappeared, so I'm going to stock up!

Great products and great customer service.

I love the smell of rose and frankincense face balm and face oil. They make my face feel dewy and hydrated. The best bit is knowing I am only putting safe products on my face that are not hormone disrupting, which is importantly to me as a menopausal woman. The deodorant smells good too and again I’m delighted it is only safe ingredients. This means it doesn’t last for 24 hours but I’m glad about that!

Orders are despatched quickly and customer service exceptional. I love the products and now only buy their frankincense & bergamot oil and face balm for my skin. A little goes a long way so value for money as well.

A little of the calendula salve was given to me by a friend while we were on holiday. It is the most amazing calendula product I've ever used. I was using it on a patch of sore dry skin and now I also use it on my hands and lips. The friend who gave me the sample uses it for everyone, including haemorrhoids! She says its the only thing that works.
