AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Thet sold me a car, took my previous one and DID NOT settle the finance, now over 3 weeks ago. They took my deposit, my car and my future finance and i am now left with 2 car finances and they will not answer the phone, the salesman - ADAM just keeps telling me hes a salesman and cant help and its accounts. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT purchase from here.

First time buying from the Car Group and really impressed from start to finish. I was looking for a specific car and at the time it was the cheapest for age/mileage/spec in the UK so wasn't really expecting much in terms of customer service but this was not the case the pre sales service from Curtis was absolutely excellent and when I arrived to pick the car up at the agreed time Curtis was waiting in the reception area to greet us, which was a nice touch.
After Sales has also been excellent as well as there was an issue with the second key supplied with the car and this was professionally sorted by Ella Dalton.
Overall a very impressive experience and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Avoid for purchasing online. I bought a car from The Car Group online, based off photos and speaking to a sales man. The car was delivered a day later than agreed (which I don't think was their fault). The main issue is that the car was delivered with a puncture in one of the Tyres, and upon inspection in a local garage it had been patched up recently.. suggesting they knew it was there before delivering.. I told them this immediately and they said they would reimburse for cost. I paid for a new Tyre and now cannot get a hold of the company via phonecall/whatsapp/online. I would avoid, as would hate someone else to make same mistake as me trusting them for purchasing online.

I would be VERY CAREFUL buying from this company, they are only giving customers one key with their cars and saying the other key will be in the post WHICH NEVER ARRIVES. They then sell on the key to car thiefs knowing where your car is by the address you gave them when purchasing your car.

One of the worst company in the UK they sold the car but car was damaged and accident car but also they still hold my deposit nearly one month advise me what should I do but I decided if they not pay my deposit in 72 hours I will take them to the court I have no choice

I can't thank brother Addy enough. He took his time answering any questions I had, esp the diff between HP and PCP. I kept coming for 3 days just to get a car as my new born baby was crying, to a point where he helped rock baby to sleep, so I could test drive cars.
I hope he gets a chance to read these reviews and knows he is appreciated by his customers for his great customer service and care.

these are really the worst company I've had to deal with. only wanting previous service history thats "apparently" been done by them, rang numerous numerous times to only get passed from pillar to post, even emails I've sent don't get replied to.

Only a small request but they cant be arsed to help. so god help people who have problems or warranty work needed. I've seen so many other reviews and feel sorry for others who have bought!

can buy a cheap car from anywhere, but a company should be judged on their aftercare when problems do arise and these I can tell are awful by the short experience ive had from them. would never buy a car off these even if they offered me a car £6k under retail!!!!

Very little went right with my purchase. The advert was inaccurate, saying the car had "adaptive cruise control" when there was no cruise control at all.

The vehicle was not safe to use. Important safety equipment was missing, I was told replacement parts would be sent to me in less than a week, but after 10 days I have still heard nothing. When I try and find out where the parts are I spend hours on hold to talk to someone who does not know what's happening and can only promise me a call back that never comes. I have two disabled children and not being able to transport them safely is now a serious problem.

The vehicle has not been maintained. Whilst there the check engine light was on and their paperwork notes that this needed attention. It was out on my drive home, but the next day had come on. Diagnostics reveals that a glow plug is failing. I assume they cleared the fault without replacing the part.

In short, if you're not a confident car person, and especially if you don't live very near them, buy elsewhere!
