My order for a pair of Texpeed cargo 600D cordura motorcycle trousers (34W/30L) was delivered just two days after order with free delivery.
I was relieved to find they fitted perfectly and were very impressive in terms of quality as had anticipated having to return them for a different size.
Did a 45 mile chilly test ride the following morning and found they were comfortable and warm.
I had been looking at buying matching trousers for my Alpinestars Andes V3 jacket but they are 200 quid......

Superb quality leather jackets of full grain leather,not cheaper leather but the full 1.2-1.3 mm hides. Great fit and size true to guide.Be warned if you are of a unique shape these jackets may not be for you via mail order (try another high street store were you can try for size). All in all this is my second jacket and will continue to wear Texpeed gear as it offers the best value for quality,money and protection I can find.

I have had the most expensive kit, as I was riding for a living and someone else was paying. I have also had cheap kit. The Texpeed kit is in the cheap range but I read great reviews and bought the touring leather jacket and trousers. There are some money saving areas, single stitching in places and cheap feeling reinforced areas. But overall the quality is great. The leather is thick enough to protect in a slide. Stitching in essential areas is reinforced by folding the leather to hide the seams and the zips and faster are good quality. Unfortunately I have had a few spills. I would trust this kit to protect me in everyday use. At this price I would highly recommend Texpeed leathers. Thanks Biker Wear Direct your delivery, product and sales experience were great.

Consumer Advice agree with me that the "Turin" (Aramid) motorcycle jeans that I bought 18 months ago are not fit for purpose.

I had worn them maybe a dozen times and washed them twice. Last week the metal fastener fell off as I was undoing them. Considering these are being sold on the basis they will protect you in a motorcycle accident it's laughable.

The denim itself is quite soft which is why the fastener has come out of the material. I would say average to poor quality denim. Poorer quality than a £7 pair of jeans from ASDA, yet selling for £74.99 currently.

BikeWearDirect has declined to do anything because I bought more than six months ago and they just ignored a second email. So I won't buy anything again and will advise family and friends not to.

I bought a leather jacket and trousers which have been great so far. But bear in mind if you have a problem this is the standard of customer service.

I placed an order for some textile trousers for me and a leather jacket for my wife , the trousers are perfect but the wrong colour of jacket was sent . I emailed the company and the problem was sorted out very quickly and my wife now has a very nice quality black leather jacket .the company was excellent to deal with and went the extra mile to make sure it was sorted, so I have no hesitation giving them five stars and would recommend them to anyone wanting great bike gear at good prices

Excellent looking leather jacket with armour for bikers. I only found about their website whilst watching YouTube video of “Mr Darcy & the ol man”. One of the most economical leather jacket available anywhere. Size guide on their website is super accurate. Delivery was free and it arrived within reasonable time. First impression, quality of zips and leather look excellent. Looking forward to wearing it for bike rides soon the sun comes out.

Sizes are no where near be carefull bought a 3xl and it's smaller than my previous 2xl very disappointed

Order arrived next day , motorcycle trousers didn't fit so exchanged them for bigger size ..I'm awkward in size I'm between 36 and 38 inch waist ..... exchange was dealt with very efficiently and quickly .

I actually bought another pair of trousers from them a week later , again next day delivery, very happy , their motorcycle trousers kept me warm and dry on a cold wet ride , fitted me perfectly.
As they've said in they've said in their website to possibly get a size up from your normal if you are going to wear normal jeans or trousers underneath, otherwise if you want to wear them on their own get your normal size ......err on the side of a size bigger if you are an in-between size ....

I visited two large motorcycle clothing shops and could not find anything that fitted correctly. I am 5ft 5" and 38 chest, so most of the jackets were too big or just uncomfortable. They were also several hundred pounds. I found this jacket online and thought I'd give it a go, I'm so glad I did. It fits so well, it's made really well and the twin zips are so good. I bought it late summer when I was just wearing a t-shirt underneath, so the second zip keeps everything nice and tight. Now it's colder I have a thick jumper underneath and the first zip gives that extra space to keep everything comfortable. The quality is superb, every bit as good, if not better than, the jackets I saw in the shops.

As I was not sure about the size I did email beforehand and the staff were very helpful sorting out the correct size for me. I will definitely be buying from them again.
