I was hoping to use on black friday to get reduction in cost and maybe get a treat with the extra. So 21 days after acceptance and over a week after me paying the first payment I have received no voucher. I will be putting it to the company to cancel use of this scheme that they only recently started.

Paid by the employer on the 6th November, now the 14th and still not heard anything. Status says “awaiting payment”. Employer made a phone call to customer service which directed them to email the financial department which they did days ago but still not heard nothing.
Very disappointing, worried that the tech I want will go out of stock. No communication on time frames or what is holding it up. I’ve rang them myself a couple of times but basically told to wait.

As of now, the invoice has been paid as an instant transfer, and over 36 hours later, no response to my email, nor the voucher, disappointing, I had assumed my previous issue was the fact it was requested over the Christmas break, however it seems from other reviews and my current predicament that they just ignore people and take their sweet time before processing anything which is laughable considering they state Techscheme will issue your code within an hour....
Update : recieved, about a week faster than last time, however still needed chasing, customer service rep was helpful though.

Generally a positive experience using tech scheme through my employer, the wait was roughly 2 weeks slightly more , so overall not bad and the staff were always quick to answer the phones and offer advice would recommend

Takes too long. Upto 8 weeks before voucher is issued. Fine if you want to hold money in an account on the off-chance of a deal. But if you see a sale item and then apply you will miss the offer.

Dreadful, drawn-out service that becomes more of a hassle than a work benefit. This is a new perk in our office and looked like a fantastic way to save money and get some new tech. I applied 7 weeks ago and still havent had my voucher or even been able to activate my account. Work paid the invoice and I asked TechScheme how long it would take and they told me my account was being held up my employer. My employer showed me the paid invoice, showed me the system which had no requests outstanding so I went back to TechScheme and they respond in Riddles like, "We are working under the policies of each employer as they are set. And under your employer set policies this information is the only we can provide and see." If you want to wait months, go for it. If you look at a deal and hope you'll get it, be prepared to be disappointed.

It’s a ok scheme. It’s interest free and you save money on tax.
Only problem is it is a long process. It takes about a month for you to receive your voucher.
If you want something for Xmas, apply early. The vouchers last for 2 years so you can use it later.

Absolutely unbelievable, poor service. Paid on the 3 July still no voucher. despite number of calls, emails nobody body bothered to get back to me. No line to finance. And still no voucher and item I wanted is out of stock. Maybe they would care more if I took to social media to complain about the lack of care or customer services.

Update. I have received confirmation my company transferred the funds on 4th May. Is now the 17th May ( nearly 2 weeks after the payment) and I am yet to receive the redeem code.
I was of the opinion that the whole process from approval to redemption code would not take longer than 30 days. I have already paid 2 instalments and item I want to buy is no longer on offer.

I have emailed numerous times as i cannot seem to access my products when i log in now i just get a blank screen with nothing on it!! Have had mo reply and do not know if this has gone through etc… i am now stuck as was for Christmas and do not know if i should go elsewhere or if i wait… this has left me very little time to sort anything else and i am so upset and disappointed. No one is replying to my emails at all!!

Don’t order in a hurry. I’m still waiting to get my voucher and as it’s a Xmas present I’m not best pleased with the service. It was shown to me to be a quick and painless service but honestly it’s taken so so long and I’m wondering if I will ever receive my voucher. I’ve asked my finance team multiple times if they have paid and they told Me it went through 2 days after I was accepted. My order is still on awaiting payment and I was told it would take 3-4 days for payment to go through and it’s been over that. Techscheme have told me multiple different things and time frames and I may have to cancel my order if this isn’t sorted soon. I’m gutted. I just wish they would get things done fast or tell me the right amount of time. I was told it would be sorted by the end of today and still nothing. I’ve been cc’d into my finance teams emails with the rimittance and still nothing!! I will be calling everyday for an update and hope it gets sorted ASAP. My order number is TSPP67070564

Have called Customer services 4 times. Basically, my employer made an immediate payment yesterday morning and i was told the voucher would be emailed within 24 hours. It is still not here, and astonishingly, my techscheme page still says waiting for payment. How can you be waiting if a payment is paid on an immediate basis. The worse thing is, I chose all the electrical goods that I wanted but they have now probably sold out, gone up in price. having to choose products first to acquire how much to need to borrow seems pointless to me.

Easy to sort out with work and instantly ready ti spend really. Doesn’t take long to be approved. Obviously will vary with work olace. But very handy when needing new appliances. And pre tax deductions

I wanted to get my partner a birthday present and I thought this would be a great way to save a bit - only thing to keep in mind is that the process does take some time.
Once you submit the application your employer has to approve it. Your employer gets an invoice that can be paid in 30 days.
I asked HR and finance to speed up the process on their end so I could get my voucher timely and they got it all approved and paid within 3 days of my application. I am on my 5th day of waiting since my voucher has been dispatched and still nothing. I have called customer service and they advised they have to dispatch them manually and to wait 2 days to receive it. I appreciate there has been a bank holiday weekend, but still they promise you get your voucher usually within the 1st hr, or in the next 24hrs from submitting your code. Hopefully it comes through today - I’ll update my review once i have been able to use it.

I am wriring this review as an employer who has offered this scheme and has encountered a bad experience from Techscheme. We implemented the scheme in April 2021, we now have to include the Techscheme on our P11D / P11D(b) returns for the year. However none of the support staff have a clue how to assist me with this, the simply refer me to the HMRC, who I have spoken to at length, also do not understand this scheme at all. The literature is vague and unhelpful, as are the support staff, stating that they are not qualified to give out advice regaring the administration of their own scheme??
Very unhappy and frustrated.
