Refurbished iPhone 15 plus.

I recently bought a 15 plus black from tech tiger as a birthday gift for my daughter.
The phone was listed as in excellent condition. However when I received it it was in what has been graded as in good condition from the Apple Store.
There was a big chip in the screen and damage around the cameras at the rear of the phone!
Also I never received a charger cable for the phone.
I’ve contacted tech tiger now several times about this issue and sent them pictures as evidence too.
Also the battery max capacity was set at 82%
Not great considering I spent around £500 for the phone.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying a refurbished phone but when it arrived everything was perfect. The company even included a USBC to c connector. The phone works perfectly and I'm very happy. Also, the phone is in excellent condition.

Seamless iPhone 15 Pro Trade-In
​I recycled my iPhone 15 Pro with this website after finding they offered the best price on the market. Despite a delay with Royal Mail Special Delivery—which led me to anticipate a compensation claim—the process once the phone arrived was exceptionally fast.
​On the morning of December 8th, I received confirmation that the phone was received, and moments later, a second email stated the trade-in was complete. By 18:30 the same day, the full agreed-upon amount had landed in my account.

I purchased an iPhone 15 pro max refurbished in excellent condition two times. Both times the phone was in sub-par condition.

First phone had perfect body but really scratched up screen.

Second phone had a heavily chipped body but a perfect screen. Also the back panel had a sharp edge when running my finger from the back frosted panel towards the metal bezels. It was obvious the back panel was either changed or had some modification to it as Apple would not ship a phone like this (I have an original 15 pro max to compare it to). There were also uneven gaps between the back panel and the metal bezels, enough for me to put my fingernail in.

Obviously with refurbed phones, it’s expected some parts may be replaced however with an excellent device I would expect them to be done to a higher standard than what I received.

Battery heath was less than 85% on both, abit disappointing though understandably within their 80% threshold - no points deducted for this.

Customer service was friendly, I dealt with Katie both times who was super helpful and understanding - unfortunately this did not help the situation in terms of ensuring I received a phone in better condition the second time round, regardless of being reassured the team would look out for my name to ensure I get a better device the second time round.

Some people may be luckier than me, however I purchased refurbed phones in the past and it was impossible to tell the difference between the refurbished device and a new device. It was not the case in these two instances.

Both times I was offered a partial refund however this was around the £20-40 region which was not satisfactory in my opinion.

Shipping was very quick, and returns were free too which is good.

Dealing with the company was a good experience, just the devices themselves weren’t the greatest in my opinion.

This is the third time I’ve used Tech Tiger. They offered me £140 more than other companies for my last trade in. On all three occasions they have made me a decent offer and paid that amount, no coming back like other companies saying they found a scratch or water damage etc. They have also paid out on the same day they received the goods. A trust worthy company.

I ordered an excellent condition Pixel 8 from them and had an issue with the delivery where it was being sent back to them. I asked them for an update on the situation and Katie got back to me very quickly and sorted out the issue.

I have since received the phone and it is in perfect condition, no issues with it at all.
